Very clean, organized & professional. FIRST Class of the MSPCA. CUDO'S
I absolutely LOVE the puppy I adopted here. Upon adoption her name was "Putt-Putt" but I named her Olivia. I was looking for a dog I could train to be my service dog. If the dog couldn't cut it as a service dog she would live with me as an emotional support animal. I have a 14year old Westy that has cushings disease and I am treating her for it with expensive medications. She is medically stable as a result of her treatment. I would give five stars but I found they can be a bit...harsh with VERY confusing standards for the adoptees to be able to adopt. To be honest it can be pretty upsetting going through the adoption process it kinda was like an interrogation. I NEED a service dog. I actually NEEDED a dog PERIOD I need a dog to motivate me to go out and hike, and walk them, go to the dog park, take training classes for her. My 14 year old dog does get out but she is pushed in a stroller when she gets tired and she is blind. So I will say they have a LINE at the door on adoption days. It is super stressful. You have like ten minits to make a HUGE life altering decision of weather to adopt and is it a good fit? I did end up with an amazing puppy. I can't say enough good about her. I love her so much. She has changed our lives. My 14 year old Westy follows her around when we go walk. I get so much more exercise. Olivia does so well in training. She takes it easy plays mostly all day and then we train in small amounts and she has been in walmart, my doctors appointments, a horse show, a beautiful brook in the woods, splashing in the ocean with me (only up to her knees). She LOVES toys, she has a toy box full of them. She loves the cat and he loves her. They play together it is so cute. She loves other dogs and came well socialized. I call Olivia "Mrs. Congeniality." She was mostly potty trained. She is perfect for me. They changed our lives when they allowed me to adopt her. My whole WORLD revolves around Olivia and Casey and Taboo. I am very thankful to this shelter cause they adopted her to me. She fit perfectly into our "furry family". We love her<3
They do good for the lives of animals that can't speak for themselves
The staff are wonderful and accommodating. I found my cat there on Feb 28th 2020. Woody, now called Kevin, has adjusted already and never stops talking. I'm in love. Thank you to the staff for all your help.
I adopted my cat Dante (formerly willie) from The Humane Society years ago. He was a very sweet kitten and now is a wonderful cat.
I have also had my hedgehog cremated communally. The Humane Sociey were kind enough to out my Hedgehogs paw prints in a clay disk so I have something of his to keep forever. This was a surprise about a week later.
The Humane society is wonderful and i am so thankful for them to be a part of this community.
They were the only ones that would help an injured stay. From here on in, they will be my first choice when looking to add to our family. They were kind, helpful and caring!
adopted guinea pig from here, the staff are excellent and im sure to come back someday
Courtney is fantastic, she helps us with intake every time. A Great facility
Got my terrier/hound mix here. Fantastic experience for my husband and I and our 2 yr old big fur baby Bandit. (Aka puff daddy)
Love going there to look at the all the animals! Staff is very friendly.
Best ever!! My new dog, Kash, is the best. Healthy happy smart handsome!! Thank you!!
I got my first car here, the staff are friendly and the spay and neuter clinics are wonderful. For the community, the only issue live had is the hours, it can be hard to get in with traditional work hours.
The people that helped me adopt Zoey were the best. So friendly and helpful. I have been telling everyone about you. Thank you so much.
Long wait, but the Vet was very honest, informative and helpful.
Cares very much for their animals. Many of their cats have a medical condition, and they have a veterinarian that screens applicants in person for the adoption process of animals with those issues. They are very up-front about the medical costs of their pets and that honesty is immensely valuable.
They are all about the animals. They are sweet people who do nothing but get these animals ready for loving homes.
