I went to see The Kitchen Sink last night. One of the funniest and touching plays I have seen in a number of years. Keen to find out more I read the playwright is from Hull, Tom Wells. A superb triumph. The actors were tremendous and were comical in their facial expressions and yet heart warmingly touching. Well done to the actor understudy who played Sophie, a true star. So good I will be seeing the play again, and certainly will be looking out for more of Tom Wells!

Great theatre with modern decor and a forward thinking and vibrant ensemble company. Interesting mix of productions and comfortable auditorium. Can hold 437 in the main house and 135 in the studio. Well worth a visit, and deserves support.

When will the bar staff here ever look and behave as though they actually want to be there. They grunt and grimace and they really need to get some kind of queueing system going, instead of shouting to people at the back, "Who's next?" When there are loads of people Infront of them. I'm so fed up with it that I think that will be the last time I go to Hull Truck . They are lucky to have a job

Brilliant little theatre! Been a few times now, very intimate feel as opposed to the New Theatre. Good little bar and although busy never struggles to serve people. Show some great plays here, seems to be a bit more high profile work than its previous incarnation around the corner. Reasonable prices and a comfortable sit for a couple of hours. Can't fault it.

Watched the wedding singer by local performers. Best value of a ticket. Small stage but they used it well. Worth going to see performers there. The downside is queuing for drinks and toilets in the short time interval. That's like everywhere. So go and see something

Possibly the worst written and acted play I have ever had the misfortune to endure, Dark Winter had us leaving at the interval. Confusing is an understatement, direction was dire and the only good thing about it was it was easy to escape at half time.

Hull Truck is always a good experience. On my last visit l had some street food and a beer- making it even more enjoyable. The play was on for an hour with a short interlude and than forty-five minutes. That's perfect timing for me and makes the evening relaxed and balanced. We decided to go by bus and it was a straightforward. If you've ever been stuck in traffic on daytime buses try the evening service as the buses get to speed up and the journey takes no time. Hull Truck is well located and every time we go we say 'we should do this more often!'.

Went to see Jack Lear a funny and poignant play very well acted. Had to give one less star for the fact it was uncomfortably chilly around legs and feet whilst watching the show. Otherwise first class.

Been here a few times for different things and have never been disappointed. The theatre has different auditoriums of different sizes which are all very good. This time we were in the studio auditorium seeing "A song to end the world" and what a great show. I would recommend both the show and the venue.

Myself and my husband attended to see Oliver Twist. From start to finish, this production was excellent and I loved every minute of it. The venue was fantastic with friendly staff and a decent cup of tea and coffee! Can't wait to come and see something else.

Fantastic theatre. Very welcoming from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Hull Truck Theatre isn't very old so it's very clean and modern. Prices for shows are very reasonable and seating is comfy and mostly easy to access. Definitely worth visiting at least once if you haven't yet.
