Editing my original review! This place sucks!

When we first bought our car here in August of 2015 I raved about this place. However, something has changed. When we went in we marveled at how this was one of the few family owned dealerships left in the city and how that made a difference but sadly it seems they have resorted to several of the shady ways of so many other car dealerships. Customer service has just plummeted. Good luck getting anyone on the phone. When you call to speak with someone they are always magically away from their desk or on another call and don't even bother to leave a voicemail. I have called 5 times in the past week and still haven't gotten a response from ANYONE!

Beware of sketchy practices as well. I got an offer about early termination of my lease and when I went in (after no luck getting anyone on the phone) they wasted my time. Even after showing them THEIR EMAIL, they treated me as though I made it up. The sales people were incompetent, clueless about the offer and instead gave me an offer that they thought was best (DID NOT HONOR ANYTHING FROM THE ORIGINAL EMAIL).

So all in all, if you are looking for an honest dealership that cares about their customers, keep looking! I don't know if management changed or what but this place is not the same! Stay away!

Tim Kellar and the entire service team always provide outstanding service. They are never pushy with their service suggestions and their prices are always lower than national chains and local shops. You can t beat how efficient these guys are either. We also bought our car here at end of lease. The finance and sales team were super nice and they beat the financing rate my bank was offering by almost 4%.

I bought a used ford fusion from them. Took them forever to get the paper work ready. I got a used car from them and never will again. They didn't even change the tires, they were very used. I mean to the point of this shouldn't have been able to pass a state inspection. And they have twice. The sent my car out to ford and didn't tell me one of the 1St times i had it in. Then another time I went to pick my car up and it took about 15 minutes for the service rep to find my car. He at first told me that the car was over at 5 star ford. But then when I told him there is specific notes to not take my car there he went and looked it up and said oh my mistake we have it here and said let me go get it. It took 15 minutes to find my car apparently. The serviced advisor I had at the time had to take care of a family emergency. That's fine but what bothers me is no one else in the place can pick up a phone? Was she the only one answering them? I called several times not just her direct extension but calling them in general. My thing is if your coworker has a family emergency why is no one taking over her customers? Just letting them go to her voice mail and not be helped. Very poor service advisors. At one point I took it in for them to look at and they sent my car to a ford place and didn't even look at it them selves. And the last time I had it in they used about a 1/4 of my tank and didn't replace it. Done.

A lovely dealership, and they handled my oil change well! I appreciated the spaciousness of the inside and all the efforts to prevent the spread of COVID19. I rarely go out these days, but I felt safe with everyone masked and keeping socially distant.

After a week of looking at several different dealerships, with no luck, we finally got the best Honda Pilot EX AND price at Huggins! We had the best experience with our salesman, Manny. He was very fast with negotiations and was very quick with our paperwork. If you go to Huggins, go see Manny! He will get you what you want! Thanks, again Manny.

On call given an final outdoor price of 29,000 for 2019 Honda Accord Ex-L and before finalizing the deal the manager changed the interest rate from 2.9% to 9.9% and said because as I am on F-1 visa interest increased. All other dealers given a quote of 29,800 with 2.9% final interest rate. This dealer cheats customers very badly.

I haven't bought my car yet, I am still waiting for my lienholder to get paid, but I will be purchasing from Mr. Dan Meyers. He is the internet sales manager. His pricing is upfront and honest, and it is truly unbeatable. He was nothing but polite and answered all my questions promptly via text. Good service and integrity go a long way when it comes to purchase decisions.

Thank you, Mr. Meyers. I think Dallas dealerships need to take a lesson from this dealership.

Same day they reached out to me, I took the afternoon off work and drove 45min - 1hr to get to the dealership just to be told that the car was not for sale and that they were sending it to auction.

Very nice dealership for patrons seeking great deals with no fear of overcoats. Staff are genuine in finding a vehicle to fit your needs. Easy to find from street view. I suggest dealing with Theo or Casey if possible to help you find that special vehicle! Staff are forward about vehicles and available deals. I suggest visiting them as it's well worth it. Alex is great to deal with financing and finalizing your deal.

Went to Huggins to look at a 1998 Accord Coup that was posted on the internet (with pictures, vin, etc.) for $2900. The car was not there when we arrived but I was contacted two days later by a very helpful salesperson to come in for a test drive. I was ready to pay cash for the car when I was notified that the price had changed to $4977. Yes, the dealership had raised the price due to interest in the car. No thanks. I will not be back and will not be recommending this dealership.

Thanks to Tim Kellar's excellent attitude and service experience, I continue to choose Huggins Honda to service my 2005 Honda Accord and keep it in tip-top shape. Other Honda service companies are out there and are somewhat less expensive, but I know that I am getting First-Class customer service from Tim and that he will make sure my Accord gets the proper service and care it needs. I am also confident that I receive honest information regarding repairs and service my Accord needs, which is extremely important to me. Huggins Honda is a first-class operation all around.

I don't enjoy spending money on car repairs but Huggins makes sure that I am treated fairly and I appreciate that. My service advisor, Ari Frost, always takes the time to explain my repairs, why they are needed and most importantly what to watch for to keep me on the road safely. The new waiting area is state of the art and very comfortable. I keep going back because of customer service and attention to detail.

The service and waiting area are excellent (they offer Uber service free). If you use the coupons, you can get great service with original parts at affordable prices (compared to another dealer) and the Best is that they match the price and / or coupons from other dealers.
Aaron Olivas was an excellent advisor! He explained everything to me in detail and worked with me (and my budget) on identity, what service to prioritize and helped me get the best possible price. This is definitely the Best service center and Aaron my favorite advisor.

My wife and I both bought our cars through Huggins and had a positive purchase experience that will have us returning when it's time to get a new vehicle. Also, we take our Hondas to Huggins on a regular basis for service and have always had an excellent experience. The work is done quickly and the service reps are always helpful in explaining what's being done along with the service options and costs.

We ve been using this service dept for a few years...

We ve been using this service dept for a few years now because it used to be a no pressure place to get oil changes. Now they re just as upselling and pressure heavy as anywhere. After they pitched the severe maintenance schedule replacements to me I heard them go for everyone in the waiting room. According to them nobody uses the normal maintenance schedule. They wanted $120 for engine/cabin filters, that I replaced a four months ago.

They wanted $135 for brake fluid flush that their own website has for $89. $185 for fuel system clean.... I laughed out loud at that one.

We re going to look somewhere else next time, we used to like getting oil changes here.

2 hours for oil change and tire rotation with an appointment. Which they charged $83 for. Oil changes/tire rotations for My 8 cyl Chevrolet at Classic is only $60.

I have never had a bad experience at Huggins. I see the same Service Advisor (the awesome Todd Woomer). He takes the time to listen to me, make sure I am taken care of and the job is done correctly. He always communicates and keeps me well informed along with updates on progress. The facility is clean and staff is friendly. Even when we move further north I will still make the drive to have my vehicles serviced at Huggins and with Todd there to greet me and take care of everything.

I spoke with six different people and they all had a smile on their faces and gave me great service. The lobby was clean. The lady in the food court was also nice. Recently had substantial damage done to my car and brought it to Huggins to take care of the repairs. Huggins Service department is honestly FANTASTIC. Matt Smith jumped in right away to help and kept me up to date on the process and progress (more than my insurance company truthfully) of my repairs. Made a frustrating experience a pretty great one.

Set up an appointment with Justin to look at a Honda CR-V, and Justin was incredibly kind and personable. On our way to the dealership Justin called and informed us he unfortunately had to leave, and left us in the hands of his coworker Christian. From the very beginning Christian was patient in letting me look at nearly every CR-V on the lot, answered every question and knew the technology of the CR-Vs well, which I appreciated so much.

There was never any pressure to make a decision or purchase. He just laid out all of the information as far as comparisons and payments went on different CR-Vs, and let me think and talk through my options. Stayed late to accommodate us on a weeknight, which I also appreciated!

Huggins Honda in NRH Texas is where you want to take your Honda for any kind of repair, oil change, inspection Anything! The staff is amazing! They have a fantastic coffee bar inside in the lobby - which is a nice place to wait while your car is being serviced if you re in for a short service.
My vehicle needed to stay overnight they provided Uber both ways. The work I had done on my Honda was more extensive so I had estimates from other places before I went to the dealer Huggins repaired my vehicle for almost half. The staff is amazing the service is amazing I highly recommend this dealer!

Be mindful of your car when bringing to this dealership for service. It may sit in queue for 20-30 minutes before any work is started. I have taken my car here since I purchased it here in 2011. An oil change, multi-point inspection and wash has generally taken 30-45 minutes in the past. Today however, it sat in the service bay for at least 20 minutes. I checked back periodically and when it was nearing an hour, I asked to have my car returned so I could leave for work. After speaking with the Service Manager, he assured me customers appreciate them taking their time and the attention to detail. "Our customers would rather us do it right and not rush". Today, the service department certainly didn't rush, except when it came time to drain the oil and replace the filter in 12 minutes flat. This was after I asked to have my car back (before any service was performed). In addition, no multi-point inspection was performed and car was not washed. The best part, I have my service history records signed and completed indicating that those services were in fact performed, yet the service invoice specifically states it was not complete. Everyone has a choice where they take their business. I am choosing not to give it to Huggins Honda any longer.

Mayur Patel is a great manager as well, super friendly and accommodating. Top notch staff. This is my first Huggins Honda experience, other than great service on my previous Honda with David Post there. I ll be a returning customer for sure!

Now Irving has a Honda dealership but the service department makes it worth the drive to North Richland Hills. In the last three years, since moving to Texas, I have purchased two vehicles from Huggins. The buying process was great! They were attentive and took the time to answer all my questions. Both times, I found the car I liked and they spent a lot of time working the numbers to make it happen for me. I brought my most recent purchase from Huggins in for service and had the unfortunate experience of talking to someone who must have been having an absolutely terrible day. He was beyond rude, telling me that since I had a loaner, he didn't see how my car sitting untouched for several days was inconveniencing me in any way. I will concede that it's a valid question when posed kindly and with respect, but try being 9 weeks out of a major back surgery, and sitting hunched over in a tiny Civic an hour to work and an hour home everyday. I immediately decided to go pick up my car and never return, but I received a phone call from one of the service managers, Mike Harvey, that turned everything around. He apologized for the young man's behavior and assured me that he was handling the situation with my car. Mike made sure they got my car in right away, he called me everyday to keep me updated, took the time to explain what they were looking at and working on, was patient and understanding when I was hesitant about allowing my car to leave the dealer for an extended test drive, and most importantly, he made me feel like my business mattered. You might be asking, why I would give them a 5 star rating? Here's why - Things will go wrong, and people will have bad days. That's a given - no matter what business you're dealing with. But to me it was their response to that situation that renewed my faith in Huggins and confirmed that this is a dealer I want to stick with for good. Mike went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. I am only one customer. I have dealt with many places that would have shrugged their shoulders at the loss of "just one". I sincerely appreciate the above and beyond, 5 star service from Mike. His actions proved that this dealership truly cares about, and values, each and every one of their customers.Thank you Mike!

This dealership discriminates. Whatever you do, take your money somewhere else!

This is my second time visiting this dealership in the past year (by accident). On my First visit I found the car I wanted online. I called ahead and they said they had the car for me to test drive. I drove out there that day and when I arrived it took them about 30 minutes to "find the car" (i never actually saw it). I was then told the car was dirty and he asked if I could come back in 3 days to see it. He didn't ask me for my number or anything and didn't follow up. He also didn't offer to show me any other vehicles. Last week I spotted another car online. When I arrived at the dealership I realized I had been there before. This time though, I got the same story, but a different rep. First the guy claimed he couldn't find it. 30 minutes later, he had found it but it was dirty and he asked if I could come back in an hour. Again, he didn't ask me for any contact information and didn't offer to show me anything else. Upset, I went to speak to the sales manager who assured me they didn't discriminate based on race, ethnicity, etc. but that he thought it was odd that neither rep offered to show me anything else. He then assigned another guy to "take good care of me". Later that afternoon he sent me a text message with pictures of the now clean car and said that while they were closed the next day for holiday, he would personally bring it to me the next day for a test drive. The next morning I sent him a text at 9 am and asked when we could meet. He wrote me back 2 hours later and said they had already sold the car. Again, with no offer of anything else I might be interested in.

On both visits I watched as people came into the dealership looking for vehicles and agents busting their butt to get them into a car and showing them different options. I also find it insanely coincidental that on 2 different visits I would get the same exact story from 2 different agents with no attempt to try to sell me anything else. So either they have the worst sales agents in the world or they simple don't want to sell to ME!

This dealership discriminates. Please spend your hard-earned money somewhere else.

I took my 2017 Honda Pilot to Huggins service department today for routine oil change, new wiper blades and rotate & balance tires service was quickly completed and service advisor, Derrick was very nice. The lobby and showroom is spacious and comfortable with lots of room for social distancing! The cashiers were awesome in helping me use my discount coupons. They got me out ahead of the time I had allotted for service!!
Huggins has been giving me great service all around since my first Honda Pilot in 2006. I love my Huggins Honda Pilot

Had a great buying experience 1 year ago. BUT I was promised a $100.00 referral if I referred someone to buy from them,. I referred someone on November of 2016 and I still have not received my $100.00 check from them. I was told that I was supposed to receive the check from them by Christmas of 2016. I have since sent emails and my boyfriend has even talked to some people there while getting my car serviced. STILL NO CHECK. Feel mislead because of of the promise they made that they did not keep. I WILL NOT refer anyone to them because of this reason

The only issue I have is the condition of the NEW car I purchased. Almost flawless except for the surface scratches on the windows and the very poor tint application. I expect more meticulous care from a top tier trim package.

BEWARE OF SERVICE DEPARTMENT! We hired Huggins Hon...

BEWARE OF SERVICE DEPARTMENT! We hired Huggins Honda to install sunroof moulding, rail moulding and repair a windshield chip on our son's 2015 Honda Civic EXL purchased that week. Repair invoice was over $2k and service sales person was Clayton Becher -- never was able to reach him much. The Huggins Honda Service Department attempted to deliver the vehicle with a deep scratch on the drivers side roof, down to the sheetmetal, several inches long and other scratches in the area of work. Service Drive Manager, Kimmie Hamilton, admitted to the damage when I pointed it out. Kimmie committed to repair the damage they had caused and talked about always making things right with customers. Huggins attempted to buff the area and even had Caliber Collision attempt to buff the damaged area but the deep scratch remained. Kimmie advised us that they must paint the damaged area in order to repair it properly so we agreed. This process dragged on for over 3 weeks. Kimmie finally called to say that his manager, Steve Coleman, has now decided not to repair the damage that the Huggins Honda Service Department has caused and began to make excuses. When confronted Kimmie about their failure to take responsibility, he quickly became the fast-talking, dishonest type. He began passing blame, making excuses, changing his story, playing dumb, etc. I'm extremely surprised that Huggins Honda could not repair this scratch and decided to respond in this way. I only own Honda vehicles and have been very faithful to the brand for almost every purchase. I've purchased 2 brand new Honda vehicles from Huggins Honda, 2 brand new Acuras from MacChurchill Acura (now Hiley Acura) and my friend just purchased a brand new Acura MDX from Hiley Acura last week due to my recommendation. My wife and I each own an Acura and each of our kids own a Honda. I will be sure to keep all of this in mind when considering this brand in the future. We made 7 trips in total back and forth to Huggins Honda between my wife, son and I -- the car was never washed any of those times. A BBB complaint has be submitted against Huggins Honda, also a complaint with Honda Customer Relations for Owners and I will deal with the payment and repairs by other means, I am completely done dealing with Huggins Honda.

One of our vehicles was totaled when it was rear ended by a two vehicles. We found a very nice Certified Honda Accord, and daughter finally chose a very Clean and sound Jeep SUV. Oliver Rose made the sales process easy without a hitch. And the financing options was also explained and simple to understand. While there we had our son's vehicle serviced for the first time. Tim Kellar was our advisor and he reviewed the services completed, the overall condition and a plan to keep it in tip top shape.

We now have over 200,000 miles on our Odyssey and it drives nice. Thanks Tim Kellar for repairing the latch for one of the sliding doors and the scheduled maintenance. You guys Rock!

Eric Jacoby was FANTASTIC!! He was very pleasant on the phone and did an outstanding job from the time I called to the time I got my car back. He kept me updated and was very mindful of trying to find the appropriate time to contact me (I work 24 hour shifts and have a random sleep schedule). I bought my car from another dealership and I've never really had that great of an experience there so I made the switch over to Huggins and I'm glad I did! The maintenance on my car was exceptional and once again, Eric made the experience that much better. Good work guys!!

Kelly showed me the car and helped with the test drive. Mark helped me set up the financing. Overall, my experience was okay. I did not feel pressured by the salesmen. The price was in-line with the Kelly Blue Book value.

This is my biggest issue with Huggins. The salesman lied to me that the car I bought had a current (2015) map for the GPS and Bluetooth capability. It does not have either. I'm pissed over this because having a car wth an updated GPS was a major feature I was specifically looking for in my purchase. When I called Kelly to discuss the issue, he said he never told me that and wouldn't help me.

Nume is extremely helpful,honest and straightforward. No sales drama. Absolutely love the experience with huggins Honda. Thanks NuMe. Note: writing this review after purchase back in 2017 and 4 services in 2.5 years.
The place is clean calm and spaced out. Had a small super cafe that gets you both live fresh food as well as coffee shop. Very reasonable pricing. Love their breakfast tacos.
The place is accessible.
Right on highway. Lot of waiting area.
Free coffee, WiFi and parking. Shoutout to NuMe and hugging Honda.

I recently purchased Honda civic 2016.Had a vey good buying experince.Max Easley was my dealer who helped me a lot.The process went the damm quick..i was able to select purchase and drive out the car within 2 days ..(previously i had been to other dealerships near by my place but had a tough time..they made me go to their showroom for 3 to 4 times) luckly i went to Huggins ...Appreciate your work....!!!!!
