The warm home made Lardy cake is a real treat. Service is always excellent.
Very polite and organised service. Good coffee and afternoon tea
Tasty cream teas and breakfast menu. You can find other branches in Cheltenham and stow on the wold .Nice English country tea house. Great for foreign visitors .
Lunch stop at Huffkins in John Lewis, Oxford Street, London, on 28/01/20.
Sampled the mushroom soup, chicken sandwiches along with the vegetarian Coronation chickpea in granary bread.
Excellent presentation and tasted lovely.
Very pleasant waiting staff, being attentive, polite and courteous.
London prices of course but nice surroundings and window seat which was a bonus.
Nice pleasant staff, only went in for a coffee so can't comment on the quality of the food.
I am sorry to post this, but my recent experience was unacceptable.
I booked a sit down afternoon tea at Huffkins in Burford a month ago for Sunday 5th July. I received an email confirmation when booked and even the day before to confirm my booking.
This was planned so that we could enjoy my wife s birthday once lockdown restrictions had been lifted.
We arrived on the day only to be told that it was takeaway only (fair enough) and that all bookings had been cancelled - except clearly not ours.
We live in West London and drove 1.5 hours to Burford for our booking on 5th July 2020 at 3.45pm. Apparently there are no bookings until end of August despite everything else in Burford being open.
Being closed is not the issue - but not contacting us to let us know is unacceptable. To then send us an email a day later to ask about our experience is a joke really.
We like to come to the Cotswolds for a treat every now and then and often include a trip to Huffkins. But this has definitely left a bad taste.
Really nice tea shop which serves great tea and coffee. Download their app and get a free cup of tea! Friendly staff. Recommended
Afternoon tea here was a delight. Friendly efficient service. Great range of lunches, cakes and drinks. Nice atmosphere. We went on a very hot Tuesday afternoon and can imagine it gets very busy at the weekend.
Great, great food, but pretty expensive. Burford tax in full effect!
Afternoon tea here was amazing. The sandwich bread was so fresh and soft. The cakes / scones were unbelievable. Very relaxing music. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you
Located on the Main Street in the picturesque village of Burford. Kind of a traditional tea room, we had the afternoon tea which was scones, jam and cream with s big pot of tea. Generous portion and waitress brought our more cream. Nice afternoon tea, and other people s lunches looked nice. Reasonable price for what we had
Fab food and drinks at great prices. Service is excellent
Lovely hot chocolate and very nice scones. Nice atomsphere.
Lovely little spot for coffee and cake, a decadent treat!
A wide range of scrumptious snacks and pastries, staff very courteous & helpful, prices beyond reasonable.
Loved it! The food was superb and 5he staff are amazing, supper accomodting friendly and flexible. Ordered the chilly avocado with poached eggs, very tasty! Definitely recommend, not just because of the food, but the service was 5 .
Very lovely time. Went with elderly parents and each enjoyed a delicious beverage and cake. Stairs to toilets were a bit of a challenge but the staff helped immensely
We'll happily drive from Stony Stratford to have breakfast or lunch here. First class food and regardless of how busy it gets, service is always spot on. Fantastic range of food on offer all having a very home cooked feel to it....that's a good thing, obviously if no-one in your house can cook you'll need to ignore that last comment. Definitely worth a visit and the surrounding area too if you have time on your hands.
My friend had a wonderful lunch today best soup anywhere?
An old favourite, perfect for light meals in historic Burford.
Very nice cafeteria with traditional upmarket feel. Very nice tea and bacon roll although a little pricey (along with a lot of eateries in Burford)
The eggs Benedict, omg! Great food and friendly people ,plus , it's such a cute town !
Do try their Lardy cakes! Absolutely delicious. Ambience is precious and friendly staff.
As famous tea house in cotswold, one of the nice place to have cream tea. Their eco-back is quite popular in Japan.
Beautiful tea room with wide selection of sweets and savouries! Came here for lunch, which was quite busy, but service was quick and friendly. Scones were soft and fluffy, best enjoyed warm. We tried the ham & mushroom pie, and pork burger, which were both delicious and huge in portion - would recommend sharing between two if you re getting tempting pastries along side! :)
We have a shih Tzu dog so we can only eat in the courtyard next door which does takeaway. The service was great. The food was fine but menu is very limited. After all this time the restaurant should be sharing and have access to the courtyard for owners of dogs.
Great food and staff all had smiles and were brilliant
Very polite and smart dressed staff with quick service
I didn't have much time on the bus tour, so ham and cheese croissants? Buy and eat. It was very delicious. The souvenir shortbread was also popular
Just OK. Experience is of take away/bakery. Dog tolerated to rear in Medieval Garden . Ordering was difficult but we thought we had got there in the end, order came wrong, when it did come the white bread had Mildew / Mould on it. Milkshake was off but by that point we d gone past tolerance and left. Didn t risk using the loo or attempting to order cake .
I had cream tea on a cold day
A shop with a cute atmosphere
A pleasant clerk
With a really delicious scone
With delicious tea
My heart and body warmed up
Got seated straightaway for brunch on a Saturday. Served quickly and staff were friendly and attentive.
Food is of good quality, had a nice full English! Stairs to the toilet could be be a little tricky for those less able.
Would definitely recommend and return.
Nice coffee but the usually delicious Chelsea buns were disgusting. They were flat and like eating flavoured cardboard! Dissapointed
Great atmosphere - quaint and cosy. Bit pricey for what it is (especially the coffees) but lots of choice - healthy as well as full English to keep everyone happy

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and drink, safety measures very good, food was great and good value would recommend and burford village is just lovely
Staff were very friendly and they had gluten free options on the menu which was brilliant as one of our party is coeliac and he could have a sandwich.
Very disappointed with the breakfast and well overpriced. Would not go there again,.
Only three stars today! Always use Huffkins when there is one, but had the fish and chips today and although the fish was very good the meal was served on cold plates and the peas were cold by the time they arrived at table. Disappointing cool meal. Not the standard I expect from Huffkins!!!
Fish pie was lacking in fish, but the service was fantastic.
Always great food here, good variety on the menu. Nice items in the deli next door as well.
We had cream tea and it was an excellent experience
Lovely place for cream teas, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices. Seating area inside and also in the outside courtyard.
