I had an interview here with Dave (Production Suprevisor) and George (Owner) with an understanding that I was a CNC Machinist w/ 4 years experience, and was moving on because my last shop was not willing to teach me programming. George says, You will learn everything here and I have no problem paying you $16/Hr, as we had talked on the phone about. Well, my first day: Cutting 1/4 carbide cutters to 1.27 . Second Day: Cutting 1/4 carbide cutters to 1.27 . At the end of the shift on second day, was told by Dave that Lotti doesn t know everything on the HAAS VF-3 Machine, and that He wanted me to work with him in it. I said, Okay. I go in on the third day and I m told to go back cutting carbide, until around 7:45 comes around, Lotti gets me and says, You know the machine better than me, you do it. Here s the machine, here s the tool, Here s the parts. Figure it out. SO, I stumble at figuring it out, as this was out of my experience as a mold shop CNC Machinist, and I had no experience programming. I identify the problem with their process, they were cutting a cutting edge broaches into M2 steel with a 3 round disc burr. That needed a different cutter and the program needed to be adjusted. I IDENTIFIED this problem to Anton, and Lotti, and the foreman (I forget his name). The foreman told me to go back to cutting carbide. Okay, I did. Roughly 45 mins later, I was approached by Dave to speak with him in the lunchroom. I was told by Dave, and I quote, We can t pay you $16/ Hour, We can pay you $12/Hour, and your of no use to us. I declined there offer and held my composure respectfully as I was belittled in the fact that I m of no use to them. Then I spoke to them and said, I think that is way to low even to start somebody out on a machine. Dave pretty much said, to condense and get the meaning of That s why were so successful. They pay workers their who are 30+ years in the trade less than $20 an hour and pay workers their minimum wage. As, the owner has a showroom of cars in the front, and has his family on staff, being treated like Kings. This is without a doubt a sad case of the American Dream brought to you by corrupt and crony capitalism. Underpaid workers, in a wage slave sweat shop, not paying anyone their actual worth. It s unfortunate that I have witnessed the sad reality of this form of economics. I m sure, based on assumption, I m not the only one to complain about this. I thought this company would of been good, but it wasn t, very unfortunate. They got rid of me, after they promised too much they obviously couldn t handle. Now, I m back at square one, with three kids and wife to support. Thank you HTC Tool and Cutter, for taking care of the American Workin Man!!!

I had a interview scheduled for Friday I was told that by the manager Dave that I didn't have enough experience, without reading my resume. Monday I called to explain my experience and Dave the Manager said he didn't have time for this and rudely hung up. Beware this company is very unprofessional and they discriminate. Do not do business with this company or work for them if you see a problem with this.

This is a great business to deal with.
Quality tools for very reasonable prices.
Don't think we should be rating them a botched job interview.
