I have tried 50+ co-working spaces across 8 countr...

I have tried 50+ co-working spaces across 8 countries in Asia and this one is probably the bottom 30% of all...

The biggest downside is you need to bring your own universal power adapter if you are not from Singapore because the type of socket here is type G. In addition, you have to reach down and put your head under the desk every time to plug your power, and you will probably need to bring your own extension cable since the distance between the socket and the desk is pretty far... So, the beginning of your work can never be smooth here and it s not a working friendly set up.

Another thing is that the elevator of this building is pretty old and slow, and you don t want 24hr access because the ventilation of the building starts running at 7am and stops at 7pm, so you can t really work before or after that. Plus, the restroom is pretty old so it never looks or feels clean and somehow the coffee machine is very often not working here...

To be fair, I have not tried other co-working spaces in Singapore, so other places may not be that different.

Really nice coworking space. High ceilings, city views, lots of natural light. Nice mix of hotdesking and private studio offices. Great for networking and plenty of regular events and very helpful staff who can put you in touch with other member.

We've been a tenant with JustCo for 6 months, and I recommend to stay away from this place.

As previously mentioned, the Aircon is out of control (our employees ended up working in winter jackets and were still cold), elevators are very slow, there are frequent events on the shared community area, sometimes very noise ones that make it impossible to work.

On top of that be very careful before signing a lease for the office spaces, as there are (unreasonable) extra charges applied upon move-out, such as a business continuity plan for mail forwarding at almost $100/month, or very high fees for reinstating rooms that are in a perfectly normal condition.
Very high additional charges are often applied, such as $100 for a lost key card, or $50 for a lost key of the small rolling containers in the offices...

Management is not very cooperative when it comes to their tenants' demands, everything must always be done according to the rules (that usually involve mentioned high fees). This, combined with the inconveniences mentioned above and very high prices, results in a high turnover of companies. I think most of them realize very soon that management does not intend to keep them on board for longer than the minimum contractual period.

Save yourself the trouble and look for another co-working space, there are plenty of them in Singapore.

Modern and cosy coworking space. The kind receptionist took me around on my first time here, explaining there are different floors of private offices and some common hotdesking spaces along with two meeting rooms. The pantry is cheerful and filled with natural sunlight, and has tea coffee water etc for you to take. The working crowds are just nice so you won t be too bothered by others and plenty of small tables and bigger collaborative tables. There s sufficient power plugs at the bottom of the tables and also high speed WiFi. Only thing is they switch off the lights on the dot at 610pm and you will be left with only the natural sunlight and their meeting rooms usage is also until 6.

I went for an event, didn't manage to experience the place fully as a co-working space. But I bumped with one of the tenants on the way out. It came highly recommended from him!

The pros:

The pros:

Layout and People: The JustCo space is well-designed, and has an extremely cool vibe. The people working at JustCo at the front desk and in sales are very friendly, and go above and beyond to help when issues come up. Unfortunately...

The cons:

Wifi: The wifi connectivity is EXTREMELY inconsistent at best. During my 2 months there, over 50% of the days, the wifi had connectivity issues that significantly decreased productivity. This is the reason that I ultimately shortened my lease there (but not without a fight from management because there was "no termination clause for my long term contract").

Management: My lease ended in the first week of February, and contractually my deposit should have been refunded within 60 days. When it wasn't after 60 days, I emailed JustCo but had my emails ignored for 2 weeks. I was only able to reach someone at accounting after contacting my account manager directly, and the excuse was that the person in accounting who covered my account left, so they "forgot" about my account.

After some additional back-and-forth in which I gave JustCo more information, and asked for roughly when my deposit would be refunded, they told me that it was "processing". This was over a week ago, and I'm now told it's unlikely I will get my deposit refunded until next week (around 90 days after the end of my lease, or 30 days late according to their own 60 days policy).

Summary:

I do feel bad writing this review, primarily because all the people I interacted with on a daily basis who work for JustCo have been wonderful. That said, the wifi issues and management's inflexibility and incompetence mean you likely will have better luck with another space, especially when there are so many competing spaces out there.

JustCo made this place an enjoyable place to get work done without all the obstacles that usually get in the way. There's good space for meetings, super fast internet, awesome break out space with arcade and foostable and lastly, great helpful and friendly staff... I feel that its a big difference working in JustCo and from home. Over here, it s easier to stay focus being surrounded by other professionals and even opportunities to make businesses and be friends with other members.
