It is a very good rink but one day i went in to play girls ice hockey and there was everything Islanders. Ex. There were statues of the players, all they sold were islanders merchandise only because the Islanders are practicing there . I think that is abselutelly ridiculous. Expecilly because i am a Ranger Fan

Clean well maintained arena, the ties to the NY Islanders make it a bit unwelcoming for some Rangers Fans which is sad for kids who just want hockey.

The twin rinks have a cozy fireplace social center and proshop and vendong machines that take credit cards!

The clinic instructors are great for those lookong for hockey, there is also an outdoor half rink.

Not happy having to write this. The management keeps giving me the run around for $360. of catered food they ordered for a party in the beginning of March 2015. I had established what I thought was a good relationship by giving them $2000 of free food for their grand opening last year. At first "the check is in the mail" then it's "it will be the next check". If they cant pay a local business that supplied them with food that they ate 90 days ago their future may not be so bright. Don't count on this place. I will post again when they decide to pay.

Excellent ice rink that the Islanders Hockey Team use as a practice space! Free skate times as well as lessons available. Nice fireplace to warm up at when you're done skating (lit in cold weather). Two indoor rinks and one outdoor. Also party rooms are available.

The rink is very nice, but is managed horribly. The house league is not worth the money. There is no coaching, no supervision and no rules. Noone pays attention to the time or the kids. It's a total free for all. I suggest you look elsewhere if you want your child to have a positive hockey experience.

the in-house league is a joke. do not waste your time or money. the staff dont pay attention to the game, time or kids. they give absolutely no direction. first day they had 15 year old kids skating against my 6 year old. they decided to split it up after complaints. if you are looking for straight ice time, may be ok. if you are looking for a competitive league with proper coaching and timekeeping, dont come. place is incredibly nice, just run by clowns (for lack of a better word).

Great place to bring the kids and family to skate but only bad thing is that if you got little kids that are learning, go get the kids helpers first before the adults that cant skate takes them. Its an embarrassing situation when you have a 3 year old thats learning but the 40 year old adult takes the skate helper.

The place is beautiful. Why I gave 3 stars. There is no concession stand to get anything to drink or eat, especially when spending a few hours there. I do hope in the future they do acquire a stand.

Gorgeous and well built. There's a fireplace with seating around it. Along the wall there are bar stool height seats facing the window for a nice view. Super clean and close to one entrance of the park. Worth the visit.

Nice facility. Ice is choppy. Always seems rather empty for public skates. Bethpage has better ice. The outdoor rink is a waste since there is no seating. The locker rooms are nice. The practice pens are cool but they wont let you use them unless you play for the Jr. islanders. Met a few of the PAL Islanders coaches and they are rude and pompous. Dont bother driving to go here. Just go to your closest rink.
