The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly and does a great job on my hitch installation

I've had lots of work done here. They got me in quick and were always done in a timely fashion plus reasonable rates...highly recommend!

They did a quick and efficient job putting on a competitively priced trailer hitch, did a great job explaining it when they were done. I would have given them 5 stars except when I was there I needed a hitch adapter and they were out of them, and I specifically asked them to order it with the hitch so I would have it. They didn't, and I had to leave unable to use my new hitch and required to spend time I did not have to look for one elsewhere.

Got me up and running. Fast and efficient but prices are out of this world had one quote for 175 rewire whole trailer. These guys said it would be just a little bit more and charged me double make sure you get an estimate before you take your trailer home and I didn t get any new wires three new plugs that was it. Should have done it myself $50 and it would only took an hour they told me it took three hours dream on. Still have my old rotten wires. Sad.

Art and the guys did a triple axle boat trailer for a 12000 lb boat. The replaced wheel bearings, brake pads, tires and brake lights all in 1 day so we could be on our way. Thanks guys for a great job!!!! Jeff

Great place for all of our trailer/ hitch needs. From cotter pins to custom builds, they are top notch.

Sent a trailer to get fixed. When i got it back not all of the light's worked but the did before i took it in. All in all the other work they did was great. I would go back there.

Beware they started the job without letting me know how much it would be. Did not do it in the time frame they promised. Boat winch was installed incorrectly they have never fixed I had to go to another shop. Coupler they have installed is no good I was told we can come out to help you because we do not do the curbside service. Even though I can not connect the rrailer back to the car. Every time I was asked to speak to the owner older guy who answers the phone says he is not there. I have paid $1400 where it should have been around $800. Check everything before and after doing business with this place.

There was a miscommunication with what sort of hitch to install, which in this case was additional wiring for brake lights on a trailer. Not only were they understanding and willing to adjust the price, but the work proved to be fantastic for my bike rack. A solid 5 is easily deserved.

i will never let howland trailer work on my trailer again as they dont know what they are doing i had them put a door on my trailer on the left side my unit is white and they put a silver door on i did not ask for a silver door i ask for this door to match the frist door they put in the wrong place and i had to take it back to get it right so if you want shi work take it to howland and they will mest up you unit oyes they had the unit for all most 4 mounths and when i toke it back they had it too weeks again and they told me 3 days what happen now fix your mess or we will be in court

I had problems trying to set up a weight-distributing hitch on my vehicle and camper. Howland's figured out the fix and did it quickly and for a reasonable price. I would use their services again.

Art was super helpful. We found the perfect tonneau cover for our truck with the assistance of their displays of something like 8 different types. They installed it for free after it came in a couple of days later.

We returned to order a set of Weather Tech mats. Again, happy we came in instead of ordering them online. Same price, but better service.

1 star is only for there website, my wife said she seen on facebook a big trailer sale I'm in the market for a trailer and they are local, so i go on there website and there is no type of sales page or any advertisement with pricing for trailers basically making you have to go in and look and see if they have what u are looking for and or in my opinion wasting your time if they in fact do not have what you are looking for may be a great place may have great service but website not so up to the times where every bit of info u should need to know before deciding on a store visit.....just my opinion i personally like to know what I'm going into a store to get and approx price range and options.....

Overall good service and prices better than the RV place. I did call ahead to ask about getting my bearings repacked, and was told they could do it the next day if I dropped my trailer off that evening. Well I got a call about 3 in the afternoon stating it would be done early the next day. That's the only reason I'm rating four -vs- five stars. I would just advise if you need your trailer back for use, you let them know up front when you need it by so they can prioritize the work.

Was quoted $300 to weld a hitch receiver to the frame of our camper, then $400 when my husband dropped it off. When he picked it up, the bill was $600!!! They didn't believe that we were quoted the lower prices, "because they never do it for that low". BUYER BEWARE and get a quote in writing. I would never recommend a shop like this THAT LIES. Oh, and tried calling to complain - no answer, no way to leave a voice mail.

These guys are amazing! Customer Services first above everything else. I was in a huge bind today, I called a few other places first and was told I need an appt. Not today, etc...

I called Howland, he said come on up and we will work out something for you. My jack on my trailer was fixed in 45 min.

Scheduled the installation of my 5th wheel hitch. Took most of the day, but they prepared me for the wait. Friendly staff. Fair pricing on the work. Very pleased.

They did an awesome job installing plow lights on my truck. They had the job done in an hour, and the price was awesome!!!

I used to use Howlands a lot for work on my trailers back in 2012 and had no problems. They were cost effective and friendly. Then somehow in the last year their attitude has taken a turn for the worst up there. The pricing is inconsistent from the time of drop off to the time of pickup with this last time going from $200 to $400 to have a bracket welded and lights rewired. (in 2012 I was charged only $60 by Howlands for a wiring job) Then when I said okay, I'll pay it, but I want an itemized invoice, all they could produce was a carbon copy with the 2 things I had done listed and a total at the end with no prices on individual parts and labor. After I got that all settled and made them write me a proper invoice (which included $8 butt connectors and $5 zip ties), the guy on the forklift in the parking lot moving trailers around gave me an attitude because I was in his way while trying to back my truck up to take my trailer home. He wanted to know if I was really in that much of a hurry. This was all back in May 2017.

I'm only reviewing now because I just had to have that lighting wiring job redone at another trailer shop this last Sept because the lights weren't working, and one side marker wasn't coming on. The other trailer shop said Howland's wiring was sloppy work and "it looked like it had been done by two guys in a garage over a case of beer." The ground wire was screwed down with a self tapper with no paint to prevent rust. The wires weren't taped up or sleeved.
I'm done with this place.

Fair prices. Had trailer hitch and wiring installed. Quoted that the job would take 4 hours and it took 3 1/2 hours. Quality hitch was installed. I would recommend them.
