I love Howe sound! Food is good, prices are affordable, beer is great. Kitchen can be a little slow at times. Service is still great though.

Great local beer and nice views to be enjoyed in summertime from outdoor terrace. Food was a bit pricey but did the job for us. This pub is attached to a hotel. Careful to pick a room at hotel away from where they brew the beer since smell from brew making can be overwhelming. We were lucky enough to be relocated opposite side of brewing operations but initially thought the smell in our room was not acceptable if we wanted to have a good sleep.
Good beers, rubbish atmosphere. Unimaginative gastropub.
Good beer and a great menu... the local vibe knocks it up a notch
Wasn't happy bed was not comfortable had hard time sleeping. Parking wDn't the greatest and their breakfast idea was not the greatest
Current C-19 practice in force. Great staff, good vibes. Food is what you expect so go for the beer foremost
There hazy daze ipa is the best... Good service too!
Great staff, weekend live music, beer and stellar food :)
Came here after a day of solo hiking and I instantly felt welcomed by the friendly bartender. The draft selection is impressive and the chorizo pizza was extremely satisfying. I would absolutely return!
Amazing food! Service was a little slow as they were busy but the food was worth the wait
Great food and good gluten free options/info as well.
Great place with good selection of beers and food! Highly recommend the pizza.
We've been coming to this pub for 9 years now, and over the years there's been some changes to menu, managers, and service. We have a few "favourite" waitresses who are absolutely amazing when it comes to service and creating a great atmosphere. There's only a handful of items that we absolutely love, these include: Elk Salami Pizza, Howe Sound Salad, and the Tempeh burger dressed like the Buffalo Sandwich!
It s amazing that their vegan options are labeled and that they have the beyond burger - if they didn t have it, I would have to rate it a 0. The bun isn t vegan, so we had to have it on a soggy piece of lettuce. There are tons of vegan-friendly buns out there, and ones that would please non-vegan folks too- they d never know the difference. The food took over an hour to come. The server was really nice, but definitely busy. We also ordered the cauliflower wings, and asked for no ranch (because it isn t vegan) and it came with ranch anyway. They were below-average wings, I would not recommend them. The batter was falling off and they were sitting in a pool of grease. The burger was cooked well and the fries were delicious, though! My non-vegan in-laws enjoyed their vegetarian dinners! Would definitely recommend getting a vegan-friendly bun & maybe some vegan friendly mayo or sauce. That would make it a 5/5!
Love their food and the beer is pretty good too. Lots of space but it's popular so it fills up. Service was the right level of attentive too. Great spot!
We had a great time eating and chilling out here after doing some hiking. I love the fries that they serve here. They are like Costco fries except better in every way. I will come back for more. Keep up the great work
I tried as many as a could. Massive selection of varied delicious beers. Plus a good range of food. I had the dirty fries one night and the brewers pizza the next. Fish and chips ended up being a little oily, but vinegar fixed that! Pumpkineater beer - would make Peter Griffin jealous...
This is definitely one of my favourite spots :)
Love the beer selection and their pizza
Nice lunch spot on your way to whistler
Great food and beer in a Canadian lodge looking out to the Chief...what's not to love?
Great beer, and whoever designed their menu nailed it. Just wish it wasn't so far.
Best beer in Squamish but please bring back the old deep fried pickles
Great food, good service, and excellent beer. The restaurant side can be a good choice if you have a big group.
The beer selection is awesome. The kid's cheese pizza is a hidden gem
Solid option for dinner. Great list of taps to choose from, and the entire family enjoyed the meal. First sampling of poutine for my wife and sons, and it was solid. We didn't check out the patio, but really wish we had a it appears to be shielded from the wind. Next time
We went here for food and beer - there is a good selection and it has a lovely atmosphere. Mostly heavier, darker beers here.
I loved the food and the different brews . Only thing I would change is, to make the meat portions bigger. But otherwise spot on
Good selection of beer, decent food and fair service. But the kitchen is painfully slow. Our appetizer s took almost an hour (!) to show up at our table. This is consistent (4 times). Won't be back again.
Great Food, Great Service, and a great place for a bite to eat.
Good beer, good service! the waitress spoke good French, a plus
Great burger and fries. The different beer flavours are great.
Can't go wrong with however sound. Great beer decent food great value.
Get in there and enjoy the grest atmosphere, plus great food and Beer.
Stumbled in otw to Whistler and was so glad to discover! Great beers, friendly vibe, and music too. Yes!
Awesome stop in Squamish! Take five minutes to get off the highway and have a bite.
Great service, portions, beer, food... Had a good meal. Tried several of the beers.
Had a brewery tour from one of the brewers - think his name was Liam - Antipodean? Anyway, it was a real privilege, his passion for brewing (and explaining it) shone through, was a really interesting way to spend half an hour
Our go to apres hike calorie refill pub. Pizza, burgers, beer! Much better than average brew pub brews, I'll often buy HSB beer back in Vancouver. Do it. You deserve the calories.
The room was very clean. the service was very friendly. good food. good beer. Great service and they made us feel safe in a covid world. Thank you!
I loved this place. The food is good for a brew pub. The beer was amazing. We also stayed three nights in the inn. The rooms are simple but nice. Each room seems to has a window seating area where you can see the surrounding mountains.
One of my favourite places to stop and grab a bite to eat. Always a great menu with creative specials and features. No surprise that they have a great selection of beers on tap as they brew their namesake on site. Whether I'm headed to Whistler or on my way back, I always make a point of stopping in for a bite to eat. Try the pizzas!
None of the staff were wearing masks. Can't rate the food because we never got served. Sat at table for 15mins without any acknowledgement from any of the staff. I was starring right at the servers and they would look right past my table. 20 mins waiting for a table and 15 mins to not get service. Do not recommend.
Great beer selection, fantastic vibe and fully of good looking, outdoorsy, athletic clientele!!
Sat at the bar for dinner. Matt the bartender was on top of it. Great service and great experience.
Great service and one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Server recommended lamb burger and adding goats cheese the next time we eat there. Can't wait! Great place to eat and hang out.
It was okay.. We had to wait for 50 minutes for the food. They didn t even say sorry for the delay. We ordered beer mussels and pizza. Mussels were over cooked and the broth was very bland . The pizza was alright. Definitely not worth to wait for 50 minutes.
Nothing special. The calamari was bland, the chicken wings dry. Pizza was ok but not outstanding. 3 stars is being generous.
Second visit and not disappointed! Staff are all friendly and helpful, the food is good and the beer is fantastic.
Great food. Great beer. Very consistent quality in both.
They brew beer at the site and taste the best I had ever before.
Excellent stout. Great grub. Fantastic view. Happy Hour deals were fantastic. Couldn't really ask for more.
Good beer and good food. Ski lodge type vibe. Worth a trip here
Haven't had a bad meal yet here. I hate pumpkin pie, loathe its existence.... However, every year I seek out the pumpkin pecan pie here. It's absolutely incredible. Paired with some very inventive beers, I'm a regular fall customer.
Decent vibe with swell patio. Pretty good beer. Ok food. Definitely among the top three breweries in Squamish.
Great spot. Good food great beer. Our server mixed up a few things but still got great beers and hot delicious food in front of us after 3 days of hiking in in garibaldi PP
Quick service and great food. I'm definitely be back
Awesome happy hour deep fried pickles we already eat half when I took the picture lol and mixed fries are unreal for 5$ each! And unreal beer selection! Double IPA IS SO GOOD! Me and my wife had awesome salad and the buffalo fried chicken sandwich was to die for !
Menu has changed. Food was overpriced and underwhelming. $20 now for a burger and fries. Ordered the deep fried pickles. What we got was one pickle sliced up and deep fried bone dry. Pointless and tasteless. My Oyster burger was also chewy, stringy and tasteless. We are local and used to come here frequently but definitely won t be coming back. If you want to go for a quick bite save the $100, there are plenty of cheaper options in town. The only reason it s two stars was the server
Food was ok, servers were nice, but two tacos and fries took over 30min to arrive. When they did it was not worth the wait.
I wasn't offered any discount for the long wait though the waitress did apologize.
I wouldn't come back, not worth it.
Amazing food, beer, and atmosphere. My favorite place in Squamish.
