Great beer! We had a fabulous time and everyone was super friendly also! Looking forward to the day they deliver to Oregon. Total eclipse of the Hop was superb!

Outstanding service. Their firestone pizza is delicious.
We stayed at the hotel for the night and a in the evening. Devils elbow tastes great. The breakfast the next day was not so tingling. Has cost a point.
Great food and beer. We had the pizza, the trout and Hazy Day New England IPA. All great!
Good pizza and good wings. Also had a pretzel which was a bit overdone. Overall though, we enjoyed the place
Great tap list and good foot with a warm and welcoming cabin feel. The pot pies are ok but the crust needs a bit of work.
Basic pub food menu. Tasty, simple stuff. Cool patio with a great view of the chief. Large beer selection with something to please everyone. Megadestroyer licorice beer was a real treat.
Great beer and food. Service is sometimes less than great. Otherwise a great spot in squamish.
Really nice food. Only have the soup if you have a salt deficiency, it will fix it fast. Burgers etc all great, beers all satisfied.
My fave bar in Squamish. excellent beer, great staff
Good food, a bit loud inside, but patio was fine. Waitstaff kept forgetting about me, but I have found single people tend to be ignored unless the staff know you. If you're single & a tourist, hit White Spot. Food isn't as good, but you won't be ignored.
Great beer, great service, great food. Always a good place for lunch on the weekend.
One of BC first craft breweries. Good eats and great beers.
We've been stopping at Howe Sound brewing for the past 6 years every time we drive through Squamish. We used to love it but honestly, over that time, it has been steadily declining in quality.
Today, the hostess standing at the door literally did not talk to us. She stared at us until we asked for a table, walked over, placed menus, and walked away without a word before we had sat down (it wasn't busy). The server had been triple-seated and was unable to get to us for about 10 minutes - not her fault.
We each ordered a Garibaldi burger as usual, and were sincerely disappointed when it got to the table. The bun was mushy and undercooked, the patty was overcooked, dry, and shrivelled, the bacon was burnt on the outside of the bun and nearly raw on the inside, and the vegetables other than the lettuce were stale. The fries, normally fluffy with a nice crunch, tasted like stale fast-food fries.
It's really a shame because we have many great memories at the brew pub, but we will be removing this stop from our trips and heading to one of the newer breweries instead. As a staple in Squamish, we expected better.
Very fun and busy brewpub. The food took a little while, but that wasn t surprising since the place was packed. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. Beer was excellent!
Amazing beer, of course, great food, decent prices, but can be a bit slow for service.
Warm inviting space, little on the expensive side but I guess you get what you pay for?
Super busy, almost impossible to get a spot on the bar side. When you can get in, it's great. Good beer. Good pizza. Daily special.
Amazing food, and place has been keeping the good vibes besides COVID.
the vibe of this restaurant is awesome, I've been here many times and usually have a great experience. The food and the service was always exceptional! Not this time. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess but sadly our waitress was not as helpful or friendly. She didn't seem to like being asked questions such as "what comes with the ribs for the nightly ribs special?" or "what light beers are on tap?". she literally dropped our food on our table and took off - didn't ask if we wanted anything else - my beer glass was empty and she did not bring the dip for the wings. (Luckily there was another young waitress nearby who helped us out and she was super friendly.).
As for the food - the salsa was mushy, brown (?) and totally tasteless, the quesno was a warm bowl of salt with a little cheese flavour and this was the first time I could not finish my fries (ever!) because they were so incredibly salty.
Very disappointing, we always loved visiting this place when we go to Squamish or Whistler but I think we will try another establishment next time. The prices weren't cheap at Howe Sound so we don't the possibility of wasting our money next time....
Had the dirty fries and a flight! Amazing service and good portions!
Poutine used to have beef brisket as an option, please bring it back.
It is a place with a special charm
And if you like beer more and things to eat are not bad
Howe Sound brews some very unique beers and has a few unusual offerings on their menu as well. The rustic dining hall vibe made this a great spot to eat and socialize after a day on the slopes.
While the food, drinks and staff have always been great during our numerous visits, I wanted to highlight our experience last night in relation to the Covid protocols and their application of them. We were there for a couple of hours in the early evening. It appeared busy to us but the staff were properly masked, Menus were posted or available by scanning and the tables were more than adequately seperated. As guests would depart, the chairs and table were throughly cleaned (not just a casual wipe). Watching last nights efforts we will have no hesitation to return, not only for the food, drink and great staff experience, but also the fact they provide what we felt was a very safe environment to have a night out.
Average food, but a great spot for a post hike/climb/ski/etc beer. Has a nice patio too.
Awesome beer. We grab some every time in our way up to Whistler.
Food was nice apart from the mushroom pizza had no mushroom (3pcs). We told the waitress and she was incredibly rude and passive.
Service was slow but it was a Saturday night. Food was really really tasty. Drinks were great. We were seated in a timely fashion.
Great relaxing atmosphere. Loved the bacon wrapped smoked oysters, there TDF. Nice and friendly waitress.
Poor experience. If you like listening to children scream and cry day and night then this is the place for you. Food and beer were average at best. Would never go back, not even if offered a free stay.
Great place to stop for a quick beer and good pub food
I have always loved Howe Sound Brewing and their unique swing-top beer bottles...and their excellent restaurant with a great view of the Chief! Even better now is that they finally do growler refills - for only $8-$10!
Beautiful venue. Amazing Putine, the homemade gravy really makes it.
Great beer! It is a large space so quite noisy. Very popular, wait line and took a long time to get our food. We took our food to go. Also great bar food but not all menu items were available to go.
Very nice high ceilings to enjoy the view and great food and beer
.Food was okay .Good to bring children.service was excellant.had chicken pot pie but was very bland.it was advertised as caugen..
very disappointed, the menu on google doesn't match what they offer...would have gone somewhere else having seen this actual menu
Great location amd the staff is wonderful. Always make it a pit stop as I travel around the area :)
Been the first stop on our West Canada Trip.
We had a nice stay and really enjoyed both the food and the beer.
Highly recommend
Great beers, great atmosphere, phenominal location.
Love the Brew Burger, the huge selection of beer and the vibe.
This is a Squamish classic. I've had almost everything on the menu and enjoyed everything. Their specials are typically interesting and delicious and I always find it hard to stay from their hamburgers. Of course they're very experienced brewers, with one of the oldest micros in the province. They have many styles with very polished recipes. Yet they also still release new or seasonal beers quite frequently. A must go for the area.
Good food and good beer. Great place to stop on your travels. I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through Squamish. You don't get this stuff anywhere in Whistler.
The food is fantastic. The beer is even better. Very big brewery, split into a pub and a restaurant - the latter is quite fancy and has a great atmosphere.
Definitely a worthwhile visit after a long day in the Squamish outdoors.
Howe sound is a great little spot, events for holidays, some live music, friendly staff. Its a place to stop after work for a beer, good selection from the kitchen as well.
On the positive your beer taste like beer. On the negative your IPA taste like a Newcastle brown ale. Fix that and I'll try it again.
Great burgers and all types of beer. Best to get a flight and try as many as possible leaving with a growler or two of the best ones.
Food was just ok but small portion. Didn't like the cocktail. Beer was OK.
Great food and drinks.
Gets busy and packed fast! Live music and reasonable prices.
Their food was amazing. I just had fish and chips, but everyone else's made my meal seem cheap.
Get one of the specials, I regret not getting one.
I'll always remember this place because our friend drank too much and we had to nurse her the next day like a teenager. Very funny.
Definitely want to book a room here next time.
This place is always near perfect. Went recently for a Christmas buffet...awesome. What a great way to spend Christmas dinner.
The beer is good, but the food is surprisingly lacking and overpriced.
Really wanted to love this brewpub as we love their beers that we buy at home. We got 2 flights of beer and half were great, the other mediocre. Food was yummy though, on the pricy side. Our waiter was unfortunately inattentive and lacked initiative. Left a little disappointed.
The brewpub has well mediocre pub food. You really come for the beer.
Lime chicken pizza is really good. I also had carrot ginger soup which I loved. Try their beer tasting set (4 different beers). We order the set for each if us (me and my husband), abd the the waiter offered made all the 8 beers a different kind, which was a great way to taste the various beers especially if you're a at this brewery for the first time (and we were). The staff is friendly and professional. They made a mistake with an order but quickly fixed it.
Pretty decent spot, with a good brewery. Veggie burger was reasonable. There are some other better options for veggie food in Squamish, but Howe SB is a nice stop off on the way back to Vancouver for a quick bite.
It was late on a Sunday after a great weather weekend in the area, so the restaurant was busy. We were still sat pretty quickly, though. Since they had been bus they were also out of a few beers on their list. WIfe and I split 2 flights and the beer was pretty good, but I think the descriptions led us to believe the beer would be a little more flavorful than it was.
The food was pretty good, burgers and sandwiches looked good. We split poutine and a sausage board which came with a fair amount of bread as well which was nice.
Overall everything was pretty good. I would definitely stop in here again if Im traveling through.
Good place to go to for drinks. The pizza is also good, as well as the service we received!
We waited 75 minutes for our food. Lukewarm at best. Hard to guess if it could have been tasty.
Great beer, decent food and friendly staff. The location is a little bizarre as it's on a street all by itself in an industrial area but once there it's quite nice.
The best beer on planet Earth is called Garibaldi Honey Pale Ale and you can buy it by the liter here. Literally, the best beer on the entire planet. No exaggeration. The food is also tasty!
Rustic decor but the food was very good. Harvest table style seating arrangements means your not always sitting at a private table. lots of talk, high energy atmosphere, very friendly.
Good pub food and nice selection of classic brews from them as well as new seasonals.
I always love this place. Amazing selection, great food, and atmosphere, awesome staff. We are lucky to have a hangout like this in Squamish.
Local beer, tasty food and amazing views. The service could be a bit faster though.
Great brewery in a gorgeous building. It may not have ocean views but it is quaint, serene and a lovely spot to hangout in Squamish. Flights are great and server was kind and professional. Food was okay.
