Great food, great beer, and great atmosphere! It's...
Great food, great beer, and great atmosphere! It's always busy and bumpin but it's well managed so you never have to wait too long for a table!
Great food, great beer, and great atmosphere! It's always busy and bumpin but it's well managed so you never have to wait too long for a table!
Good selection of drinks, food is even better (their pizzas are legit) and the live music makes everything better. Also, unbeatable views of the mountains.
Great small brewery with a very good lunch andere beer tastery. We got a very nice tour through the brewery.
A mixed review from our experience at Howe Sound Brewery. We really enjoyed the cozy setting and found the beer and wood fire pizza delicious.
Our disgruntled reaction to the experience came when we went to pay. I received a gift voucher from my employer for Howe Sound Brewery but when we went to use a portion of it to pay for our bill, the server had never seen our gift voucher before and went to talk to the manager. When she returned she informed us that the gift voucher can only be used online to purchase merchandise and take home sales through the online store, it does not mention that on the printed copy I received.
I received a voucher for a brewery, I would have expected to be able to use it in the brewery on the food and drink you serve there.
Perhaps a solution would be to sell a gift voucher in your online store that can be used to purchase food and beverage inside, I d buy that!
We enjoyed the beer, the pizza and the service but now I m left with a significant sum that I don t want to spend on merchandise.
Great service, and a really nice atmosphere. The patio is very comfortable, and the washrooms are clean. The food is very tasty, and of course a great beer selection.
Sun-drenched brewery with two large dining rooms and heaps of beers on tap. Very family friendly and there is a range of merchandise available to purchase as well as beer specials. you can buy a range of pub favorites including pies, pizzas, cocktails and burgers. I love the fact that you can substitute fries for soup for only $2 extra! Service is pleasant. Great views towards the Squamish mountains.
Will never go there again. WS so angry when we left I would of complained to the owner of I thought that would of done any good. When my spouse got angry about the service we whee told that he was drunk and refused bar service but would maybe serve us food
Left and went to the ruddy duck up at the refurbished oceanpoont/squamish hotel and asked flat put if they would serve us. No problem! Lovely meal, professional staff. Have been there many times since. Screw you hose sound. I hope you go broke and lose your homes.
The food is great friendly staff and the service speed it pretty fast its definitely one of the top places to visit in squamish
Their beer is delicious, but their food, not so much.
A must-stop both on the way in and on the way out of Whistler, this place cranks out top-notch beer! The usuals are fantastic and their rotators always keep my pallet on it's toes. Get a couple of growlers to go and enjoy at home or on the mountain!
We usually stop here on the way home from Whistler for some homestyle bites and craft brews. The building itself is pretty neat too like a log cabin /ski chalet.
The food here is fantastic, far beyond standard pub fare, and with lots of variety. Prices are good, selection is large. Atmosphere inside is really nice and relaxing, the place was definitely inviting. Beer selection was really good as well.
Absolutely recommend checking the place out.
Good place, but dont stay in the rooms close to the bar. Breakfast are pretty fair.
Super bar with concert atmosphere. Craft beer. Friendly team.
Our favourite place to unwind after a long day of climbing. My husband enjoys their eclectic variety of beers available, and I would keep coming back for the buffalo chicken burger alone. They have a great patio and lots of indoor seating as well. Always friendly staff. Worth the wait if there is one.
Lovely spot for a drink in Squamish, really buzzing, with good drinks and a funky (meat heavy) menu.
Nice ambiance, great beer, and even some good vegetarian food options
The vinegary coleslaw was the perfect foil for the pulled pork. Best pulled pork sandwich I've ever eaten. Also had the ale and cheddar soup, which was good. Husband's burger was also good. Service was outstanding - though we arrived about 2 on a midweek afternoon.
Great prices greater service, best of all great beer.
The food here is AMAZING! The prawn pizza was delicious. They have all the staples of a brewery, pizza, burgers, appetizers and of course delicious specialties. Plus... BEER! Haha. Beer was good. Tried a few newer brews and my friends had some usuals. The interior has plenty of seating, TVs for the sportsmen, and a bar! Check them out!
The beers are great and has a large space for lots of people. The service is maybe a bit lacking but otherwise decent
Good hotel friendly, rooms ok. Breakfast a little light in the air but the pub's restaurant is ok. Attention, teenagers allowed until 9:00 pm
Had wings and a cider today. Quick and friendly service
In a ever filling spectrum of marginal micro brews Howesound continues to make amazing beer. The brewpub has great food and the hotel rooms are a solid value.
Went up to Squamish for one night. Rooms were pretty good, bed and pillows really comfortable but the room was a bit warm, no AC in them at all. They had a fan at least. Check in staff was friendly at the front no complaints there.
Food was pretty good. Though your Nashville chicken is not hot at all. It should just be called fried chicken sandwich.
The Brewery was a let down in regards to covid protocol. Nothing really being enforced. My complaint/observation was that none of the Brewery staff were wearing masks and nobody was following any of the actual directional arrows or social distancing. They were just placing the food at end of tables to mitigate risk which isn't really that helpful considering you can breathe all over it. The serving staff was friendly but at the same time dismissive when we asked why they weren't wearing masks in a food establishment during the pandemic, commenting they are too hot to breathe in.Then we had 3 separate servers serve food or drinks, why not mitigate by having one server ( and if you can't put a mask on). I understand we take a risk to eat out but if we have to drink food or eat we can't do that with a mask on, at the very least serving staff and restaurants should be doing it. It puts patrons at risk but really puts those servers at risk, as they are having the most contact with different groups of people. I hope the Inn changes their policy on masks to keep their staff and city safe.
Love this place. Great mussels + beer. I always stop by when I'm in squamish
We had the pulled pork pizza which was amazing as always! The service was really great, which is fantastic because service has always been a bit of a weak spot. I'm thrilled to be able to give them a full 5 stars!
Great selection of Beers on tap and Friendly service.
Good beer, food and service but was a little pricey for me. Worth checking out the decor
Great brews, delicious and great sized food, super cute patio with view of the chief and blankets for the wind. Deffs worth stopping by if you're in the area or after a hike for a well deserved beer. Above all else their staff is amazing and everyone's super friendly.
Super friendly staff at the front desk. Good food when they get the order right, but it doesnt seem to happen though.
Ordered takeout last week, a howe sound salad and dirty fries, got no aioli with the fries, no big deal, they were still good.
Today ordered the same thing today, howe sound salad, and dirty fries, asked to make sure there was aioli this time. They remembered the aioli, but instead of the howe sound salad they gave me a ceaser salad, which I'm not too fond of. Disappointing since the salad was the reason I ordered from there, and I'm not driving 15 minutes back.
Will be checking the food before I leave if I end up ordering take out again
The beef brisket pizza is the best so good i cant believe what I'm eating
Must try it!!!
Pretty nice place. The service is on a whole other level, but the food is not as good as I'd like
I came here 2 years ago and had a great meal but the most recent visit was disappointing. The wings appetizer was tiny and we essentially paid $2 per tiny wing.
We came here with a party of 3 for the superbowl. Called ahead to make sure they had it. The big TV we were seated by was 1 minute behind the others so people were constantly spoiling the game with cheering till we eventually moved. :(The volume was very low and when we inquired about raising it we were told "no because not everyone is watching it." Well, most people were and in previous years they had it full volume. Then, during the half time show they turned the volume up for Maroon 5 (lol ewwww). Bottomline: if you're going to put on a show, do it right. It's not like the food is cheap for this level of service. Anyway, the food is good. It really deserves 1 star for this experience.
Great beer, food was also good, service was just fine as well
Awesome burger, and the hungry climber salad was great too. If you're lucky, you'll have Mara serve you!
Excellent service, excellent food (must try gravy, it is to die for)
The food was bland and my vegetables we're even a little burnt. At least the service was good.
I had the crispy chicken sandwich and the Ale and Cheese soup. Both were amazing. I almost asked for a togo cup of the soup. The servers were super friendly and the patio was nice.
I ordered house recommendation Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich.
60 minutes! later I was served crumbed/breaded chicken so thoroughly overcooked the crust was marginally softer than concrete. The bun it was contained in was edible, though the claimed iceberg lettuce barely existed - two thin slices 1/2" wide x 2" long. Tennessee sauce was applied more as a suggestion than actuality. Pizza ordered by others I was with took the same exaggerated time, one being 50% burnt black and another soft and soggy undercooked dough almost to the outer edge.
Kitchen "management" = Atrocious - Ludicrous
Wait Staff = Efficient Excellent
ACTORS STARZ CARS MOVIES FRIENDS N STRANGERS,,, All become FRIENDS HERE AT HOWE SOUND INN ,,, The food is FRIGGING fantastic service is as good as anyone could ask for, ,, BEER BEERS AND MORE FLAVOURZ OF BEERS ,,,GREAT food beers and better FRIENDS ,,,,Best STOP FOR LUNCH EVER
Good food and beer tucked into a setting that is 2nd to none.
Great service, great food and great beer. The Hungry Climber bowl is amazing!
Good food just not outstanding. I would have liked a bit more value for the money. Still recommend this place as the location and atmosphere is fantastic.
Amazing food. Great service. Fantastic ambience. I love coming here after a hike in Squamish or anytime I am exploring along the Sea to Sky corridor.
The atmosphere is pretty sleepy but the food comes out fast and tasty!
This has more of a restraint feel rather than a brewery feel to it but that being said, it s a great backup to backcountry brewing when they re too busy.
Food looks good but tastes okay. Good service and everyone agreed that the beer was good. The take out can beer is cheaper than buying from shops
Lots of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. Good food!
Older building, nice setting downtown by the Warf.
Service in the pub leaves something to be desired but overall good menu selection and great food. Great selection of beers as well.
Really great beers, quite a few places to park. Really good staff, who actually care about your service. Nice to see a place doing well with the covid restrictions at play. Keep it up!
Beer choice awesome... food was excellent!!! But, service a little bit too long (especially for the beers at first). Prices were reasonable!
Rrally good beer and pizza. Can be busy during dinner on weekends, but otherwise a good spot to take larger groups.
Great view, good view and pleasant atmosphere to relax after great outdoor adventures in the Sea to Sky region!
Delicious Christmas lunch, super friendly staff and delicious beers!
We stopped by on Friday, on our way back from Whistler to Vancouver, when it was a hockey night. The place was busy, but our servers were great, fast and attentive.
They often have a live music here which is nice. Bigger tables can easily accommodate larger groups. Food is good (nothing extra ordinary, but tastes fine).
Great spot for some post hike beers. Awesome pizza and pot pie
Best brewery in town! Dine with beautiful scenery on site! Servers are nice and foods are great. Must-go place in squamish!!!
Fantastic food! The Alex and Cheddar soup alone is worth the drive.
Great food, good beer in appropriate 20oz serving sizes and a wicked patio with a view in the summer
My wife and I have stayed at the Howe Sound Brewery Inn before a few years ago and enjoyed our stay. I have told many people since then how nice our stay was.
Since then there has been no updates to the rooms or building and the price has gone up by quite a bit. Our room was facing the back of the building. It had marks on the way, paper thing walls, no working fan, a flickering heat lamp and rusty shower pole in the bathroom. We stayed two nights and on both we were woken up before 7AM to noises of powered packet jacks and workers moving things about. The doors on the rooms don't have a self closer so they all slam shut when people leave their rooms which echo's throughout.
This facility is in desperate need of a make over. If a business is going to charge and certain amount for a room they have to provide that level of service. Unfortunately that is not happening at the Howe Sound Brewery Inn and I will no longer be visiting their establishment or recommending it to anyone.
Great local pub down by the water. Big screen TV's if you are a sports fan. Service and food were good with surprisingly large portions. While you can have a burger the prime rib and rice bowls are delicious.
Easy parking and accessibility.
I ve been there a few times now with my wife who s vegan. Generally the food is very disappointing, even for regular items. But it gets worst for vegan options. Despite the menu clearly listing vegan options such as the beyond burger, she keeps being served a plain burger with nothing in it. Yesterday they even swapped the bread for slices of lettuce. So basically she got a dry patty (oh yeah cause also they do know how to cook burger patties), a slice of tomato and lettuce. No sauce, nothing... Feels to me like they might need help. So maybe for Christmas this year we should all have a thought for our friend the brew pub and each bring ta jar of vegan mayo or something...
Loved it. Really well priced hotel. The room was clean and quiet. Front end staff very personable and friendly. Would stay there again if we are in the area again.
We came here for dinner when staying in Squamish. The food wasn't bad but nothing special really, but it was reasonably priced. The service was somewhat lacking, took a while to be served and for our food to come out. We sat on the patio and they provided blankets when it was cold which was nice.
Price & food is okay. There is not enough parking, the worst part.
Food was great! Worth checking out, and when everywhere else was busy they had lots of tables which is usually a bad sign but I think it's just because it's a little off the main drag.
One of those place, you should be there,if you go to squamish.
A good place to eat and rest. Food was good and service is very friendly
Large selection of craft beers brewed right in the same building, doesn't get better than that! Pub has a great wood look and feel with live music on the weekends. Food is also great. Howe Sound brewpub also has beds under the same roof for those requiring a place to stay. It's downtown location makes it very convenient.
Good food, good beers, attentive waiters and the atmosphere was great. Thanks for that.
