Getting charged an additional second bill for an ER visit I'm already paying for. Where all I did was raise legs and arms, point to a finger, and raise my eyebrows and got told I have bells palsy and not a stroke for my half paralyzed face. A bit more than ridiculous to charge an extra $450 more for that.

Was in alot of pain had to go to ER ended up having a kidney stone and even though they were at total capacity I was very well looked after and everyone was so wonderful even though it was extremely busy I was still checked on with care not just a flyby. THANK YOU YOU ALL WERE GREAT

Awful place. Incompetence, lack of care, lack of communication. We ended up transferring our loved one out of this hospital. The current facility was shocked and dismayed at the number of things this hospital did wrong. And some of those mistakes/lack of action could have cost my mom her life!! Staff flat out lied to us at times and we only knew that because we have 2 nurses and a doctor in the family. This place is frighteningly bad.

I might be pregnant

I might be pregnant
And pee tests don't work

I tried asking Dr. Powless for a possible blood test to see. I haven't been taking my birth control, or my psych meds for three months and have been showing signs.

People think as well, that I might be pregnant, family included.

Dr. Powless won't check anything and is saying just to go back on my birth control and everything without checking to see if I am pregnant.

I might be 2-3 months pregnant

All I know is I am switching doctors and medical care from Howard.

They do not care about there patients obviously

Doctors should not be allowed to bully you into doing as they want. A doctor here seems to believe that when you seek medical attention you forfeit all your rights. The nurses here were fine the problem was the doctors and consultant doctors. One doctor had an agenda to fill his rehab facility despite what you wanted. We reached an agreement as to my discharge and were trying to arrange home care but when the health services called to get the info they needed they were told that that information would not be released because the doctor wanted me at his facility. I was lied to and almost died thank god my wife and son got me out and to another hospital. Yes I lost my leg but I am alive. Be very cautious when going here if you are unlucky enough to get this specific doctor you might regret it.

Last Friday we had an unexpected "hotel" stay at the Community Howard Regional Health Hospital in Kokomo. It started with a 103.5 fever our 6 month old daughter, Allie, woke up with at 3am. Making an appointment for the next morning, we saw NP Kathleen McCracken and her two nurses, Megan & Megan. (Yes, there were two. lol) All 3 of them were more than accommodating to my daughters and I while we waited. The nurses gave Emma coloring pages and crayons to keep her behaved. They even held Allie and treated her as their own when I had to take Emma to the bathroom.

Kathleen went above and beyond and really cared for my concern and ran a few tests that weren't common but were better safe than sorry. Sure enough, something was off and we wouldn't have known if it wasn't for her going that one extra step. Even during the 45 min long wait for a room in the hospital, Kathleen and the nurses checked in with us every 10 mins to make sure we were doing ok.

When we got transferred to the hospital side, the nurses (I can't remember all their names) were THE BEST at making us feel welcomed and comfortable. Throughout the next 24 hours they never missed a check-in, were as sweet as can be, and always made sure to ask if we needed anything.

There was even a green and blue blanket in the crib was knitted by someone locally that made them for babies that stay here in the hospital, so we are grateful for such a thoughtful gift from a stranger.

To follow up, today we got a "thank you" card in the mail, wishing us a quick recovery and it was signed by the nurses that took care of us.

I'm beyond pleased with the care and support we had from North Central Indiana Pediatrics Center and would recommend them to anyone. We will definitely be keeping them as our doctor for our girls and would stay there again. (Hope we don't have to though!)

Finding an open door to enter this facility is tough! I was here on Saturday and tried 4 different entrances.........I finally gave up and went home! I'm back today and was greeted with another sign announcing East entrance was open. After navigating to an open entrance I quickly made my way to registration where I was helped immediately I made my way to the BlooD LaB signed in and stood for 30 mins because of lack of seating. After being escorted to a cubicle I bared my right arm veins for some letting No Good! Top of left hand .....No Good!! "We have a 2 stick policy!" We'll I've never heard of such.........I am then left to a fellow practitioner of the phlebotomist arts but meanwhile in the next booth............... BLOOD!!! No Worries just a little panic attach as I chuckle to myself....... I'm not a Barbarian LOL! My third stick ended in no less than 5 vials for consideration Thanks for letting me STICK around! ...........P.S. make sure to drive around and see which entrances are open!
