Houston Home Loans Inc Review

Me and my husband worked with JIM he made our first time home buying experience so easy. I love how he made sure to keep us updated in every step and how hard he worked to get our loan approved. We had given up all of our hopes on the house loan but JIM kept giving us hopes that he will make it happen and he DID. I am so happy with all the services and the help we got from this company and especially there employee. I recommend this place to everyone.

Used HHL to get an awesome rate back when we purchased our home. This was our first home and all in all the process was pretty smooth. Collin was diligent about reaching out for our documents, which was great as during the busy work week things can fall through the cracks if you aren't paying attention.

Deciding to leave a review now because I was impressed that they reached out to ask if I wanted a refinance with the super low rates during COVID. It's nice having someone watching the rates to see when they can save me money without me having to lift a finger!

We used Houston Home Loan for the refinance. It was supposed to be very "complicated" process as I was told by the other lenders. They told me that it can be done in two steps and two closings within six months of each other. I was ready to sell the house since that was simpler then dealing with all those complications BUT I got call from Houston Home Loan and all my concerns were solved. Mike explained us in details how we should proceed. Entire process was smooth, painless and handled in very professional manner. Mike was able to address my concerns and calm me down every time I thought I could not deal with it. We close on the house and all the problems were solved. That was done in only one step and one closing. I cannot thank enough the Houston Home Loan Team and will recommend that company to everybody in a heartbeat.

I received an unsolicited call from them, I never signed up on their website, beware of their business practices.

They(HHL) worked very hard on getting us a good mortgage loan. They explained all our options and answered all the questions we had. Overall, great experience with HHL! Even when we had complications with our own documents and finances, they did what they could to make the process easier! So very pleased!

WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I ve sold over 20 houses. This company should be reported for bad practices

After a couple of months of going back and forth, they tried to offer us much higher interest rate loans compared to what was promised due to disaster modifications on my credit report to other loans that I am federally entitled to after Harvey. Looked like a rip off. Avoid at all costs

Started off with negotiations for which I consulted another friend who told me what all charges were wrong and high, secondly we had to chase them around for the closing as the papers did not reach the title company, the closing date was decided and conveyed more than 2 weeks in advance.
