House of Hoops Review

Really nice mall that just recently opened. It's magnificently designed, tasteful and modern. There are many many really good stores and many many more to come. Many kosher food options. The entertainment looked amazing. Loads of parking. Extremely clear signage. Really an amazing mall!

We visited The American Dream Mall last weekend, precisely Nickelodeon Universe part, best ever amusement park for kids. we went early by 10 am and were lucky enough to ride almost all rides with no waiting times. Kids were super excited. Can't wait to visit the Dream water park scheduled to open in March along with shopping and restaurants. With that said, not much to eat there except very limited sandwich shop and about 3 snacks stands. So plan to grab your lunch with you. As of now;Tickets for All access (all rides) $60 and General access (limited access for less than 48") $50. Enjoy your first peek inside with these photos.

Such a beautiful place, love the decor very modern, it's great place for all ages young and old. There lots of things to do there and see.

Had LOTS of fun !!! I had no idea that there was a 2 floor candy store called "IT'S SUGAR". That alone made the trip worthwhile lol.

Can't wait till the stores open. The place is huge. Theme Park and Water park are awesome.

Biggest shopping mall of United States. Has Nicklodean Universe plus several other things ! Located near Secaucus New Jersey

For what it is it's actually a massive undertaking by the tradesmen and women of New Jersey who deserve a lot of credit for the beautiful work done here. It's not even fully open and I say put your walking shoes on and remember where you parked. This building is an all day affair plan accordingly.

The facility is awesome. Nice size mountain. Not too crowded. Fun and close by.

The ice skating was good! Expected to have to pay $12 there and is a good place to spend a few hours with family and friends!

Would be a 5 star if Anything was open in the mall itself

If I had to sum up my experience here yesterday in 2 words it would be: hearing damage.

Got tickets to Big Snow yesterday so my husband and I decided to go a bit early and check out the mall. It was awful. From the moment we walked in they had multiple stations with huge speakers where the music was BLASTING. I m not exaggerating when I say this music was so loud we had to yell to hear each other speak being right next to each other, and I am sure it was loud enough in this huge empty mall to permanently damage people s hearing. Why was that necessary, this place was so empty.

You should also know that almost nothing is open. Food options were Dunkin, Cinnabon, or Hagen Daas. There were maybe 2 stands open. Everything else closed.

Come have your eardrums blown out but that s about it.

Great indoor place for the winter and for people that don't want to deal with the heat in the summer but is over priced at the rides and for the pool to rent a cabana only 4 people are allowed (there are families with 3 or more kids you know). Plenty to explore at the mall

Very large and beautiful but there are no shops and it is a bit confusing the entrance and the exit.

Not organized a lot of time on line then they shut down rides no explanation pay so much get so little satisfaction went there with a 3 year old and a7 year old

Great huge place but so expensive to play anything!

It seems that the store itself has not been established yet, but the store is clean and spacious. If the corona is a little quiet, it will be a big hit, but it's a pity.

Many stores closed, their glory years will come for the regular time, Oct 2020

My family and I have experienced both the Nickelodeon Universe and the DreamWorks Waterpark. We loved both. Although very pricey, it is the experience that we look forward to.

The center garden attraction provides a premium landscape for pictures with a free 99 price tag. The decor is updated as the season goes on.

This attraction mall provides families of all price ranges something to do differently in the near vicinity of NYC.

I would definitely recommend.

It's still kinda empty so i only gave it 3 stars but so far it's ok. I will be back and check it out again when the retail stores opens and will update my review.

Ok so is different prices general adm. and all access so before riders get to the top of the line there needs to be some type of sign to say u must be a all access pass rider I was a little irritated by people who were in front of me who had to leave the line And bumping pass me and my kids then another thing is there is no height regulation at the beginning of the the rides like Hershey Park or Six Flags so if you have a kid that is not tall enough well u just waited an hour for nothing. Color and lighting for for this place are beautiful as well as the design The parking lot is very confusing overall the kids had a good time we left early tho

Can someone tell me when it opens, I m dying to know.

The whole place is NEW, as you enter you smell the fresh paint, wood, floors, etc.... At first, please purchase your tix online because the line at the Entrance is out of this world but luckily the attendants were moving swiftly. To the owner I love your idea and your plan for your community... You really put this thing together so well from the sanitizers on the walls to lessen ghe transportation of germs to the lockers for safely securing valuables...from the spacious and clean bathroom to the water fountains for hydration... I mean, when I say you really put this park together, you really did.....There are many more compliments and bragging but I'll wait until I meet you in person to tell you the rest( which I will)... THIS IS TRULY THE AMERICAN DREAM... Thank You! Firstly, I love how you have security everywhere, the attendants are there on the ground at your fingertips to assist you in every way, fully staffed (for a spill, to ask for directions/guidance, even I saw one of them watching our kids with a keen eye while they were on the rides to make sure that they were safe). I love the fact that you put Safety and Security First that's tremendous! The place is CLEAN! CLEAN! CLEAN! Love It!!! My kids had the most amazing time and we will be visiting soon for the Water Park when it opens! If there is anywhere I would put up my money for investment...THIS WOULD BE IT!!

Seems to be geared more towards activities with the family and kids. As far as stores it was alright. Not much stores especially not the ones I usually visit like Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, etc, Also had a big sign for Saks but nowhere to be found in the mall. Not what I was expecting.

My family and I visited the Nickelodeon experience for my son's 7th birthday. At first we were skeptical about whether it would be worth the price of admission, but after attending I'd say it was definitely worth it. The rides were enjoyable for the kids as well as adults. It was the perfect destination for my son's birthday especially since it's indoors given the weather here in November. Good times.

The ok only place that is open in the amusement park and the candy store. Parking was hell and there is no food place open here.

I love this place. So much to see and do. I wish there were more open restaurants and places to sit down and have a cup of coffee. Otherwise the DJ playing music is fun.

Some facilities r a little bit pricy, the shipping stores are not open yet. Parking lot is crowded on weekend, would be the football game. Building is clean, bright and modern.

If you want to wait 1 hour and 30 minits for one stupid ride and pay a 40$ plus for a ticket then come here .
They shouldn t overcrowded the park no food only snacks and you will wait on the line at least 30 minits for a snack kids and their parents frustrated on line

This is what happens when we Americans don t travel, the building of inferior mega mall s, is only to keep everyone local. Prices are cheap now, but will increase, hence why there s so little at the mall currently.

Free parking sundays. Snow boarding is around ~85 for rental and pass. Idk why NJ has the no shops open on Sunday rule which is why I drove another hour to go to Woodbury Premium Outlets instead. Very huge interior and lots of photo opportunities.

Spacious and clean. Empty premises, probably due to the pandemic, many attractions, although expensive. Hopefully they improve the offer.

It was fun, but I don't think it's worth the price. Just not enough to do in there. Many rides were still under construction.

Will be nice when it opens completely. Love the Bright lights bcz they wake you up to shop. It would've been nice to see what the insides of the attractions looked like. They only allow peeking. Parking was free for now.

My Family and i enjoyed visiting the mall we went on a Sunday early morning and we were able to actually see the mall without a crowd of people. Nickelodeon was so nice very very clean and organized. I definitely will be visiting again.

Iimngiving it 5 stars only because I see the potential. However as of today 3/3/2020 there isn't much really going on in here
The retail stores are NOT OPEN yet and the theme park areas are still not 100% ready. Kids will enjoy themselves here but the pricing vs the value you'd actually get at six flags or even the future legoland is seriously debatable. Lots of parking but based on the area... across from giants statium... this will be a nightmare during football season and summer months. Good luck to you if that's when you choose to come.

Amazing facility! Can't wait till next year when it's fully finished. I had a great time skiing at Big Snow. Planning to ski there alot during the warm weather months.

Gave it a 4 for now as not completely done but from what I saw it s going to be a very busy place. The water park is huge as is the amusement park. The workers are very helpful and nice. And the candy store was awesome. The kids of all ages will love this place.

I'm from Canada and would travel to see this mega mall! I hope, pray and wish for this to fully open with everything operating! Sad that this project began in the mid 90s... also very interesting! Love edmonton mall although it's a little outdated. If you guys ever build one in Vancouver with a casino, I think that's where you can make money. Good luck!

A Netflix documentary TV series that presents donald trump's turbulent business and private life on his way to the presidency, as narrated by those around him. The first season consists of 4 episodes. really interesting personality. I have a fluent expression, I can recommend.

Very beautiful place and super large, but the entrance to the Nickelodeon park very expensive.

Confusing as to what attraction is in what place. Hard to navigate from one area to another

The mall is very nice and large. Social distancing and sanitizer is everywhere. Still a lot of stores waiting to open or spaces to fill but it was a pleasure to go here with lots of things to do.

In addition to shopping this mall has a wide variety of activities, including water park, ski and ice skating. Tickets are expensive.

If you child under 48 inches nothing have interesting here.

Super fun place. Research in advance ticket costs and availability of attractions to get the most of your visit.

We just went to the Grand opening yesterday and it was full of displays, decorations and a plethora of stores to be open in March. Currently you can only walk on, what I believe what is, the second floor, which connects the ice skating rink to the water park to Nickelodeon. All this grand opening weekend ice skating is free and on grand opening day at least they were not charging for parking!
We found several of the employees interacting with visitors including us who took our pictures and the giant chair and helped us pick out a pumpkin for the free painting and Brett over by the pumpkin seem to have the most enthusiastic attitude a wall and really made the trip an experience rather than just a visit.
while we weren't able to get tickets to the Nickelodeon this time, thanks do to that email going into my spam notice, we were still able to check out the view of the Nickelodeon universe as well as the water park at the ice skating rink.
Currently there is a motif going through the entire American Dream Mall of Halloween / Autumn / fall festivals.
I'm not only curious how well the mobile do with charging for parking, but considering how much parking seem to be available does not seem to fit the need. However we will see in the future when the store is actually open up. When trying to park, you will notice that the parking garage is connected to the mall so for that one parking. If you know the icky in Paramus think of the same parking lot type.
We can't wait to try out the water park and the big snow especially and will be reviewing those immediately upon their opening!!

.also just wanted to add something that I've seen at least one news media outlet showing a picture of the Mall showing several levels of the mall inside filled to capacity with people and stores opened. This was a false report as the stores are not open. Although today it was probably that crowded October 27th Sunday.

This mall is amazing! Words cannot do it justice, you have to see it for yourself! My whole family loved it. I can't wait until the stores open.

Nothing open,not even a food court ,and if you have more than 1 kids you need to pay $50 each adult to get in to Nickelodeon universe for kids only to help your spouse to take care your kids in there,sucks!you can count how many kids to charge!but not their parents,coz there s no games for adult!the parents are only the babysitter!

Great place for shopping, recreation, rest and spend time with family.

it's was a great day great experience prices are pretty high $60 Unlimited rides is pretty steep even when they completely open everything inside I still don't feel that it's worth $60. one bottle of water cost $4. The concession stand doesn't really have much to offer as yet just popcorn pretzel juice with soda water. A plus is the cartoon characters actually walk around and interact and take pictures with the children. hopefully Nickelodeon validates parking when the parking lot opens because that would be another expense added to your trip

For now I will keep my rating 3 stars, but I hope everything will be better soon.
The mall and games are not fully open, also the water park is not open either. It also needs a food court, and needs to open more stores.
But, they have some other attractions for example: The ski slope and the ice-skating rink in which you have to pay for.

I have high expectations once everything is open...

We spent a day at the water park and we had a blast. I will be returning in the near future.

I was told it was only 25% capacity but I still awaited over an hour for one silly ride.

We drove an HR + on Sunday to go shopping. We arrived and all stores r closed;-( we checked online b4 coming and said it's open!!!
