Good food and service. Busy but all protocols observed

Bit snobby. Staff where nice .but the customers where stuck up.

Lovely spot for food, coffee, tea and cake. Nice wee gift shop associated to the cafe/restaurant. I have been here few times and never disappointed. They are even able to make a soya milk cappuccino that is properly frothy :)

This is my favourite place to visit. Restaurant is great. Had the Xmas buffet lunch. It was delicious.

Really good place for a special lunch, quirky shop too.

Excellent place - love it. The restaurant ticks all the right boxes - great food, great staff, not expensive. The shopping is quality and a bit out of the ordinary - expect the prices to reflect this. As with the restaurant, the staff are very friendly and very helpful.

Amazing hot chocolate.... just wish you had continued to serve them in the mugs....

Very interesting shop with some unusual items. Excellent cafe - spacious, clean and quick service. Apple caramel pie a delight.

It is in a beautiful setting, lovely drive to get there. It sells things you just don't see elsewhere, bit pricey but probably worth it.

Very small, only women's clothes selection. Expected better.

This is one of our favourite eateries. Always very pleasant service and succulent cuisine. Highly recommended.

Simply Charming. Lovely staff in the Restauraunt, very friendly and the Menu was both Lunch and snacks orientated, the cakes were divine too. A more relaxed atmosphere than we found in Loch Lomond Shores.

Nice location but expensive. Food overpriced as ordered toastie and sandwich with hot drinks. Cheap bread used and toastie was sadly lacking in filling. Will not be back in a hurry.

Visited this afternoon ordered 2 coffee's, scone and a slice of cake, didn't get cake or scone. No apology when brought to member of staffs attention. Very dissapointed.

Fantastic atmosphere and great quality food at agreeable prices. Looks like there are a lot of locals that frequent here so it must be worth coming back for!

I cannot praise this establishment too much. It is, quite simply my default-go-to for lunch venue. Just perfect.

A lovely fairytale place accidently discovered but well worth the visit. With this we are now introduced to the group and on the long bucket list is to visit more of their properties at first opportunity. Here the food was excellent, pastries mouth watering

Pleasant surroundings, free parking, interesting shops. Restaurant good selection from breakfast, morning coffee, full lunches to snacks, afternoon teas but no evening meals.Staff extremely pleasant

Superb. Very spacious seating area in restaurant/cafe very smart with nice lighting, artwork and flowers etc.

Today the service was atrocious. We arrived at 2.20 pm and asked for a table for 6 people. We were given a buzzer and told that we would need to wait for 10/15 minutes. We had a wander around the shop but there is only so many times you can walk round and round looking at the same stuff! So half an hour passed and no buzzer had gone so I proceeded to the drinks counter where there were 3 members of staff. 2 behind the counter and one on my side. At first I thought I was invisible as nobody asked if they could help or that they would attend to us in a minute. I then told the waitress that we had been given a buzzer and told we would have to wait for 10/15 minutes but had now been waiting half an hour. I could see that by now there were quite a few empty tables!!! She showed us to a table for 6 but unfortunately the sun was coming in the window and one of our friends couldn't see. We tried to close the blind but couldn't due to decorations in the window area . We had to ask to move to another table which was sorted out for us. We then ordered drinks and food. My daughter and son-in-law had ordered a starter. They had finished their starter which came without any dips!!! And still no drinks!!! We had to ask again. The drinks came but we were still short of one drink!!! Food came and all was ok. No problems with meals. Nobody came back near our table to ask if everything was all right or even after we were finished to see if we required anything else. Finally my husband went up to the counter to ask a waitress if all the staff had gone home!!! She said she hadn't noticed despite us being the only people sitting. She approached our table and asked if we would like anything else. We ordered cakes and teas and coffees which were fine, but by now it was almost 5 o'clock. My husband went up to pay the bill and there was no apology made at all. We left at 5.20pm. Just such a pity that what was supposed to be a lovely afternoon catch up with family and friends was spoiled by such bad service. We have all been here before and had a lovely time but I don't think we will be rushing back anytime soon

Beautiful place tearoom fabulous and wonderful food they do such a variety of food, you are spoilt for choice, cakes well they go to the next level. Shop is full of lovely things and you can finds things other shops don't do. Staff very well organised in both helpful and friendly. Gets very busy the sign of a good place to meet eat and shop.

What a fabulous place to visit, the tearoom stunning the food fantastic the cakes out of this world never seen a Strawberry tart looking so big if you are a fan of cream this is the place to go. Staff very friendly and helpful. The shop itself has some fantastic gifts. Visited 3 times while on holiday and took my aunt and cousins for lunch as a birthday treat.
