Saw Dido! Originally purchased tickets because Jack Savoretti was the opening act.. He was who I wanted to specifically see! I was very very disappointed since I cut my vacation short to see him. :( But .. Dido .. was amazing!! I felt her in my soul! Our seats were amazing.. too old for General Admission. Would defintely see another concert here!

I've never been to a concert where I couldn't go buy a t-shirt during the show because I was on the wrong floor. 0/10 I won't be going back to House of Blues Boston. Give Chicago a call they do it the right way.

Saw lettuce and tauk New year's 2016-2017 show was awesome venue was cool, general admission pit felt super cramped most of show though and stairs in the pit were dangerous with all the drunk people in a loud dark space

My husband and I were there Friday January 17th for my birthday to see Deadmau 5. We had seats in box 5 row D. Our view was great, but because of the AC being turned up so high the temperature was around 55 degrees. So we were very uncomfortable and cold. We were not told about the temperature in our section when we bought the tickets, nor were we warned about it when we arrived and checked our coats. This was a huge over site on the staff and management. However we did have a great time in the Foundation room. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were polite and friendly.

I attended FKA Twigs on 11/19. 2 minutes before she was set to perform, the fire alarm went off and we were forced to exit the building. I understand that this, by law, needed to take place and to ensure our safety. However, while being herded outside, I have never been more disrespected or horrified at the behavior of some of the concert staff of any venue in my 20 years of attending shows.

We were treated like absolute animals, being yelled at in our faces and ears to somehow all fit on a tiny sidewalk area across the street, an impossibility for over 2,000 concertgoers that were minutes away from seeing the main act. Some of the concert staff were shamelessly berating us, yelling that we don t pay their salaries and they couldn t care less how upset we are with the situation.

As we were let inside, one of the concert staff explained we could go through the Foundation room entrance. As we were entering, another unbelievably rude staff member began yelling at me saying to stand back and go around to the other side of the venue.

Out of nowhere, this staff member began to push and shove me. I ve never felt so violated and an invasion of my personal space and well-being in my entire life. I ve never had something so appalling and disrespectful happen to me in any public setting ever. I am always polite and always follow protocol. I understand the staff at the House of Blues are doing their jobs. But the reality is, I did not spend over $50 to be yelled at, pushed, shoved, and abused by their staff.

I am demanding an apology and a refund by Ticketmaster and the venue. I can assure that unless this is made right by the House of Blues in Boston, I will never attend a concert at this venue again and I will vow to tell any person I ever come across to never step foot in that house of horrors.

Been here multiple times. Great venue - music wise. Giving one star because the staff are continuously rude and on a power trip. Unfortunate so many great artists come here and not elsewhere in Boston.

There are so many other better venues in Boston, I wouldn't go here unless I really wanted to see the band. Beer selection is a joke and they all cost too much considering it's not even a draught pour. The balcony standing room is a joke, so don't even buy tickets in that area if that's all that's available still.

Terrible service. Don't buy Foundation Room tickets. They apparently won't even honor them if you don't follow very specific directions that are not posted anywhere, and the few staff members who care are not in a position to do anything about it. Beer is overpriced, sound is okay, seats are good, service is by far the worst I have ever seen at a venue.

Great concert by Grace Potter! There were a bunch of rude people repeatedly bumping into us or trying to move directly in front of us blocking our view. One spilled a drink on our friend and didn't even apologize. But I guess you can't blame the venue for that. Rude people will always be rude. The House of Blues is a nice, small venue. I'd definitely return. We got standing room tickets on the concert floor. Next time, we will probably get tickets upstairs to ensure a better view.

Amazing venue. I was there for CRASHfest World music event and it absolutely glorious. From the separate concert spaces (Main stage, foundation room, and restaurant) which allows for 3 simultaneous concerts, to the great acoustics, and the friendly volunteer staff, I had a great night. Looking guests to going back

Was at the Greta Van Fleet July 24th show. Excellent venue. Just large enough to still have that excitement you get when at a live show, small enough so it's all low stress. Two massive well stocked, well staffed bars. A couple issues came up in the audience, staff was so right on it, they diffused the issues, no one had to be removed and we all had fun thanks to the great folks there looking out for us...

Mezzanine level is full of obstructions and was not disclosed on my ticket. Would've had the same experience listening to the band on Spotify in the comfort of my own living room as I couldn't see a thing. Waste of money.

D.M.X. IF you want it; The House of Blues GOT IT right ! X was amazing & looks the healthiest I have ever seen him ! H.o.B. some may consider "small" & yes, it's a smaller venue, hardly small however ! Everyone on staff was professional, polite, courteous, attentive & what I would consider as all professional. Any & all dealings I had with them didin't waiver person to person. Upper management has undoubtedly dedicated themselves to catering to their clientele in what I feel is a top notch, professional manner ! I worked in a similar establishment on a smaller level & it is NO easy feat to accomplish that ! Sound quality was great (wouldn't expect anything less from the legendary X !) The crowd was really chill, almost surprisingly so. Maybe it was the energy that Earl brought with him & X brought out of the crowd, but it was an AMAZING experience, great view, perfect lighting, & a professionally run environment from a buisiness that knows and understands the wants and likes of their customers! HIGHLY IMPRESSED with The House of Blues & Always impressed by Dark Man X !!
