Very nice stay in the wellness and spa area. Really relaxing. Enjoyed the outdoor pool, sauna and the trip to the fjord.

Highly recommended.

Nice place with lovely nature, good food and wellness options

Very advertised!

We have been on an extended weekend at vejlefjord hotel, we took a boyfriend stay.

When we arrived there was certainly not good enough service and guidance, they even asked if it was the first time we were here and we answered YES! We just got stuck 2 brochure in hand by sour young receptionists!

The rooms were, dull.
Shampoo, conditioner + shower gel were so miserable, you wore crunch dry afterwards and then there was not even a body lotion!

We were missing a minibar in the room, no option for a cold water or beer!

The food was good!

The spa was good for us, however, was there a whirlpool missing ??? Isn't there usually a hot tub in such a place? Inside or out?

After eating there was no place to sit, a bar that was nothing to shout hurray for. There were 3 tables with mega hard chairs. No nice bar area with soft chairs.
Well upstairs, completely screened for people and bar!

So all in all fine stay but very acclaimed! I think we have tried it now, and will therefore not come back again .... the prices are not really related to the quality

Lovely spa experience. We were there only one Friday night. So I don't know anything about the hotel.

We were in for the spa on a Saturday.
Really nice! Clean, beautiful surroundings, relaxing, good atmosphere, kind service and a feeling of room for all of us despite many visitors. Refreshments, towels etc all worked really well, so no need to bring anything.
Only improvement was the options for lunch: Only real possibility was the buffet and we would have preferred something smaller like a sandwich or similar.

Super nice place and when you also get 13c on 20/11, then the day is perfect and ends with Spa under open starry sky.

Enjoying a cola on the journey a typical everyday is amazing, however, it will be destroyed when you realize that the completely alm cola that you have just taken in costs 58 DKK surprisingly expensive!

We've visited their spa and had a great time! Lots of different baths and saunas, fruits and tea! Very nice lounge areas, fireplace, hedonism at its best

Beautiful, elegant hotel with lovely location down to Vejle fjord.

We think the spa is absolutely fantastic and the staff are really really welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately we got 2 out of 2 visits to dinner which was definitely not good. (maybe we've been unlucky ??) As the food is a big part of the stay, I think it's a pity and therefore a star is deducted.
Breakfast is super delicious though.

Great hotel in a beautiful location in the middle of the forest, down to the water. The "castle in the woods" is really a fitting name and if you want even more of it, then I would suggest getting a room overlooking the water on the 2nd floor, it was really a beautiful view. The rooms are a bit small and if you do not want to lie in a person's bed and a half, then you must remember to call to get a room with a larger bed.
Lovely people everywhere in the reception, spa and restaurants.
A little expensive to drink drinks in the spa and bar area, but the good service from the staff makes up for a lot.

Was there for brunch and spa. Seems it was delicious, but was a little expensive compared to what you get for the money.

Vejle Fjord is the largest money machine there is, they can "everything" take the sick to 0 treatment, add to heck, have the finest facilities for students who are served on sick people who live so poor - poor and get no treatment. You should be ashamed

Incredibly nice place, beautiful surroundings both inside and out. The food that is served is also super good.

We were deluxe on Wednesday and the food plus spa area was amazing! However, it pulls a star down that the ice crusher was still in pieces and there was a long time before we got service at the bar.

Can't say so much about the place, because it was harshly damaged during the stay in their thermal baths. Went over the panorama bridge to the sauna and fall due to the ice on the bridge (many people in wet swimsuits went over + -2 degrees out), my shoulder was broken, got so many pain and what - just got off late, No time trial of driving or accompanying staff, now a new gift card for the baths, which cannot be used for anything. At the emergency room I was told that I was the third injured in the three-week period on the DEN bridge. Why haven't they done anything about the place ??? They probably wait for some to kill over there ..... Didn't feel any compassion or anything .. would never recommend the place

The setting is very beautiful and many things are positive. In general, I have previously only heard positively about Hotel Vejlefjord. But with an involuntary downgrading of room for the same price as before, a scraped three course menu and really boring check out where we were asked to pay for the food already paid for and no regrets about the misunderstanding afterwards or at least one 'we hope in have had a nice stay / thank you for now '.. then it was just not the completed experiences we had expected for the price .. pity when the stay was my boyfriend's 30th birthday present

Really nice surroundings and rooms. Service was decent, however, when we were going to eat, the different things that had been requested in advance were not taken into account. For example, there was one who was a vegetarian and one who could not tolerate some things so we had to sit for a long time and wait to eat ... In addition, the food was not particularly good.

Every 40th birthday. The food and service were really good. Great rooms. Should not stay overnight.

Had a wonderful relaxing stay that fully lived up to our expectations. Beautiful and well-maintained buildings and surroundings, probably Denmark's best spa area with the possibility of many different activities. Great catering and at all levels friendly and professional staff.

Fantastic relaxing wellness stay. We have been there once before and we have not been disappointed. Service is okay, the food is really good and the location is away from the city and in beautiful nature areas. We stayed in the saugman's mansion, but it was definitely the best in the main building.

Just returned from staying at the beautiful Hotel VejleFjord, we need to get rid of our frustration.
To our golden wedding we were given a stay of "Small Danish Hotels".
What was more likely that the book stays at Hotel Vejle Fjord almost always get praise. So we did and found it reasonable to pay a supplement of DKK 300 for an overnight stay with breakfast and breakfast.
But it was definitely not a positive experience, referred to room 628 in the rehabilitation department of Vesthus, where it is the perception we were the only guests, but with much traffic of sick people. In addition, long for the restaurant which was not pleasant in the rain. Moreover, there were only for a second course meny for SDH guests.
When settling after a stay, I expressed our experience, but the answer was that everyone who had a gift certificate for SDH was referred to this department.

What an absolutely beautiful hotel. The rooms are wonderful with a lovely view. The staff are very friendly and work hard to give you the best experience possible

Really nice place to relax and mentally recharge for couples - there is not much to do for children.

An absolutely fantastic stay. The details of this exquisite hotel have really been cherished where I have to admit that I only have nice things to say. We had a wonderful stay and both the hotel and the wellness were totally top service. The stay in their wellness department, the thermal baths, was top notch and completely completed, quality and service Exceptional, from missing a water bottle to the amazingly skilled, towel swinging gus master, who really indulges with brilliant sensory impressions in the forest sauna! The food was in particularly top class and made to near perfection. All dishes were everything there was to be perfect portions and a wine menu along with excellence. Extremely professional staff who brought food, information and dishes with manners and class. Thanks for a lovely stay. You will definitely see us again.

Lovely stay. Probably the best spa area I have ever visited. Delicious 5-course evening menu and wine menu. Great surroundings and good walking / jogging opportunities. The rooms in the underlying building were quite small and did not have good lighting. Breakfast dishes were delicious but not great.

An overnight stay where I got down to speed and where the senses were spoiled in fantastic surroundings.

Beware of gift certificates for Hotel Vejlefjord.
When the recipients come down there to use it, they are told that the card is used and then have to pay. What a blunder!

We have been a company of 12 people on weekend stays and during dinner we waited a minimum of one hour between each dish. Two people first got the starter served 30 min later than the others. We ended up spending 4.5 hours at the table. The dessert was in no way worth waiting for almost 2 hours. Too bad to spend a whole evening waiting.

Beautiful old sanatorium, in stunningly beautiful and well-kept nature area. Lovely spa area.

Super service, fantastic location and a great place to bring your family or significant other for a few days away from home.

Everything was better than expected and we enjoyed every minute of the stay! Would recommend to anyone.

The spa facilities are good, and good that the fruit is portioned in these times.
Am very unhappy that people are allowed to take their cell phones into the spa facilities, I do not want a cell phone pointing at me when I am wearing swimwear. Asked two different employees if it was correct that you had to bring your mobile phone and got the answer that you were fine, as long as you did not speak loudly.
The cake table disappointed to the extent that they had gone down to standard, pretty much just boring muffins and the dream cake was served for dessert in the evening and for the breakfast buffet the next day.
The main course of the three-course menu was too salty, however, the root vegetable soup was good, the wine menu was under all criticism, it is only a quarter glass that is served and for the price it is not good enough, so it should at least have been quality wine.

Very nice wellness with many different baths and saunas. Very cozy. We bought the buffet. It wasn't very good, so it was a shame. All in all, however, it was still a good experience.
