Hotel Van der Valk Wolvega/Heerenveen Review

Slightly older vdValk hotel, with a happy similar menu. Delicious that apple sauce. Room very spacious and comfortable. Shame about the insect under my cup on the towel.

Good food, delivered quickly after ordering, sitting outside overlooking a pond.

Today had lunch at Van der Valk in Wolvega. Restaurant looks neat and tidy and staff were nice and friendly. Food was fine too and the special children's toilet makes it complete.

Had a great night here. Friendly staff. Atmospheric hotel! Breakfast good too, very satisfied!

Cozy and lots of space .. outside in the summer I prefer ... also perfect for kids .. sunbathing area and lake nearby ...

Eaten here twice with a group. A great lunch, with mustard soup and delicious sandwiches. In the evening a cold / hot buffet, which unfortunately could have been labeled as a cold / lukewarm buffet.

We came for coffee and lunch. This was done after ordering done very quickly and very friendly. Small downside was that our table was not just cleaned. Furthermore, very satisfied.

Neat hotel with nice hall. Food is great and the staff friendly. Hotel is opposite a new-build neighborhood but without nuisance and with its own parking area. Environment is also beautiful with bike and hiking trails. Great breakfast buffet where you can give your own wishes. Everything freshly prepared.

The hotel is superb and a beautiful resort close to the village, restaurants and supermarket

Well maintained hotel with ample parking space and friendly staff.
Halaas is not a fitness facility. But breakfast is very good and extensive.

Only downside was that the shower drain did not drain properly and water remained in the basin. For the rest it is great to stay.

A real Falcon. Not very small, but cozy on many points. Lovely recently covered outside terrace. Good restaurant. Large rooms. Unique place by location on a unique lake with a water purification system, provided by the water board. And, with beach and water birds. Mostly staff that has been associated with this Valk company for years. In short, come and see!

Delicious lunch, was the 1st time, so curious. But was delicious. The ladies were very friendly and helpful. And the lunch was varied and very tasty. Price is fine. Will definitely come back to try dinner.

What a beautiful Christmas atmosphere, service perfect. Immediately a bowl of water for our dog. We are considering spending Christmas or New Year's Eve in one of the Van der Valk hotels. Today it was a cappuccino with pastry. Super friendly service! Chapeau !!!

Top hotel! Incredibly friendly employees, who always have a chat with you. Great hotel rooms, spacious and beautifully and attractively decorated. Nice outside seating area. Restaurant is really great with a nice terrace. The breakfast offers so much choice. A number of measures had been taken regarding Corona. In the evening we also had a delicious dinner every night. One evening the tournedos ran out, which was a bit of a shame. Also wonderfully cycled, a great environment to do that. Urk, Lemmer, Heerenveen are nice places to visit. Had a wonderful few days with you!

Very extensive menu, good service, and suitable for young families.

I have been there 3 times now, first time was good, second time was great, served by a young man, never felt like a guest in a restaurant and the third time the food was good, but the service was poor.

Had lunch with 5 people. Everything was well arranged, on arrival friendly staff who guide us to the table. The food was good and more than adequate.

Breakfast because of Corona very sober. None van der Valk quality. Especially in terms of bread.

Why many people eat out here I don't understand. The food is not special, and the staff too overdone friendly, making it perceived as unfriendly.
