HOTEL VAISHALI NEPAL Review

It is not bad place to stay. This property is located in the main touristy hub in Kathmandu, Thamel.

Hotel staffs are charming and cuisine obviously you would love it.

nice place & well decorated. neat & tidy room. though the room service is little bit slow. & the buffet service are closed after 10 pm.

Looked after us very well especially as we were there shortly after the earthquake.

Mw I really like it. Very clean and breakfast very rich. The WiFi is not very good but it is not almost anywhere.

Near the walking street Convenient to buy souvenirs, souvenirs, good service, impressive, clean rooms, smiling staff.

Sufficiently comfortable small hotel in Pokara. A great place for rest, short trips and trekking at the foot of the Himalayas.

-The hotel provides a central location in Thamel
- The staff is friendly, but doesn t really have a clue about their job. They wanted us to check out a day earlier than was scheduled.
-The cleaning staff does the work imprecise. I had to ask several times for towels. The floor was pretty dirty. We had to stop walking barefoot.
-This hotel might have been really nice 30 years ago. These days, this hotel is just totally worn down. Even the soap dispenser is falling apart.

A good ambience hotel. But food is not great. Stale at times. Room service and laundry is very slow. Located in centre of thamel though.

Great Hotel! Myself and 5 friends recently stayed at Hotel Vaishali, everything very good. Staff were friendly and nearly everyone spoke English. Rooms were clean and of a good standard. We have previously stayed at a similar hotel and by comparison Vaishali shone out. Breakfast was excellent.The only negative the showers were hot in the morning and cool in the afternoon.

Nice stay & complementary breakfast Good rooms nice service. Except the approach roads. But that's the problem everywhere in Kathmandu.

Centrally located. But recently some restrictions on vehicle movement & hence has to walk down leaving the car, a hassle with luggage. Good ambience & decent rooms. Good food too.

Good room but the bathroom is horrible. At the middle of the night there was a loud weird sound coming from the water tap. Also one of my friend got stuck in the lift for 15 min. Maintenance of the lifts are way overdue.

Nice Indian food quality... quick response to customer

A dump. Shower barely worked no shower curtain or door. Loud music played every night until after midnight. Breakfast served late by a befuddled staff. Very dark and dank. Much better options in thamel.

The hotel environment made me feel very bad, lighting, fountains and so on. But the service attitude is still pretty good.

It's a little bit behind Thamel, so it's hard to know the location. There is a sofa and a table in front of the lobby on the first floor, where you can have a meeting. The room is decrepit.

Hotel Vaishali is located at Central area of Kathmandu called as Thamel. It is an old style construction but certainly their service and facility are worth counting on. Its a 3 star hotel.

A nice hotel, which is practically no different from European hotels. recommend

4 star hotel at the heart location of Thamel of Kathmandu city, but need more maintenance

Old hotel, but Good services.Breakfast was also enjoyable and it was complimentary. A bit expensive hotel. Bed sheets are clean and white, hot water is also available. but the air condition is not cool enough. I don't know if there is generator working or not cause during my sleep I felt that it was load shedding and all appliance turned off. anyway the placement is good in thamel. they provide Airport shuttle service also

A great interesting oriental place. Service nice and nice. In the center of Thamel in Kathmandu.

Old, big and nostalgic hotel. Friendly and courteous staff. Located in Thamel. Evenings can be well spent by walking in the small lanes that never end. Lot of eateries and shopping options.

I had horrible experience at this hotel. This hotel is actually a brothel and they harass their guests shamelessly. I never recommend this place to anyone.
