Great People everyone very helpful. KiKi is a wonderful and nonjudgmental person, as is everyone I have had the privilege of meeting. Very organized and clean. Bless all of the Volunteers that they have, you guys are the Heart of the process, and it seems to very complex system. Anyone who is in need please don t suffer they will help you get through the hard times in life. If you have a donation take it here it is a Great addition to our community and they do not charge as other discount stores do. They have so many programs for help of every kind of situation . I would recommend them to everyone in need of short term assistance.

I used to love this place . For the past 7 years I have been getting help here of all kinds for my family and I . I even volunteer over in the clinic as well . They had blessed me so much and were always so kind . Until today . These people are the most unorganized I have ever seen . Nobody within this place communicates so one person will give you a set of information that someone else won't . The director of the whole thing is an absolute brat (I would use another word .. but Google doesn't allow it) . When I left there today I was so depressed , so violated , so disappointed .. I couldn't believe it . I cried all the way back to my house knowing that I would never be able to get help from there again , especially for my son . I can't and I won't support a place that does nothing but degrade the ones that need help and make it almost impossible for receive the help from a facility . You guys could do wonderful things if you just set your snooty ways aside and HELP people . It's been a good 7 years and I appreciate all that you've given us and especially my son . But I will no longer be back to this place and I will more than likely never volunteer at the clinic again considering it's attached to this place .

This help center is great, it is a very organized volunteer, its support reaches anyone who needs it regardless of race, status, sex, condition, or origin. They follow up on each aid process, especially home furnishings. Their food pantry is excellent and everything tends to be very fresh. You feel, you see the devotion and the example through the action in all your volunteering. They usually have people who speak Spanish or, failing that, they have great patience to reach understanding.

Great food and baby pantry. You want to go a little early as it does attract crouds. Be sure to bring an I.D. and a utility bill to be able to use the pantry. They also offer other help. Such as helping fix your car, get appliances and furniture, holiday assistance and more. There is usually a waiting list, but worth your time if you need help.

To witness a volunteer make jokes about a woman being homeless, to her face, is the most disgusting thing I have ever witnessed. He needs to find somewhere else, because no one needs to be treated that way, especially by someone who they are seeking help from.

Never felt more at ease, or comfortable at the way the staff made me feel. It's tough reaching out for help. But when your down on your luck and looking for help, its hard not to feel so at ease at their compassion and feelings toward you. If you need help, by all means go to this place. They truly love you and let you know it.

I must say that sometimes poor interactions with i...

I must say that sometimes poor interactions with individual people in an overall good environment, can at times spoil the entire pot. But in some situations, the good can lessen the bad by eliminating it or making you less mindful of those poor interactions (referring to having dealt with an abrasive individual). In my situation, I interacted with Merciful Help on the grounds of them assisting my family with Thanksgiving this year. Now before I proceed, I will make known that I am fully aware of all of the views from the inside (me) and outside (you) of this prism. Some say beggars can't be choosers (referring to not complaining about how rude or bad someone treats you) others say it's not really anybody's job to care about your personal life. But I will say that it's different when you are in the shoes wherein you may already be going through some rough situations and thus you then feel like that just another instance of someone being rude is further penetrating the wounds inflicted by what's going in your personal life. And also considering who they are by title (a merciful Christian resource), I think expecting people to be caring is a reasonable expectation. The lady who delivered my food came to drop my food off during the times that were agreed upon when I confirmed by email. It was my fault that I was sleeping and awoke probably as she finally decided I wasn't going to answer the door so she went back to her car (I made it to my window in time to see). I not long ago was involved in a situation (that law enforcement are involved in) as a battered victim. My family and I believe the male who battered me to be violent and retaliatory (for involving the police). We almost never have visitors and because I had forgotten that they would be delivering our basket, when I saw an unidentifiable vehicle (or unfamiliar one anyways), I did not go outside to flag her down for my own safety. It took me about 25 minutes to recall that our basket was supposed to be delivered between the hours of 8-12 a.m. on this day so I quickly tried to get a number for them which wasn't left in my email. So I tried to email the lady who I confirmed the delivery time with but before I could send the email, she was calling me. She at first told me the lady went to the wrong home and asked me to answer for her. I was honest with her and explained to her that she did come and that I missed her and why. She cut me short after me telling her and callously asked me to apologize to the lady who delivered my stuff. With that experience, I thought maybe the lady bringing my stuff would be upset but she wasn't. She was very nice and sweet. She made several trips right after explaining to me what she was here for. I did apologize for missing her and briefly explained why I missed her and apologized again as I know they could have other families to deliver to on top of her already volunteering and going out of her way and having drove back and forth when she didn't have to. This lady was so very nice and understanding and she delivered a lot more than just Thanksgiving. She asked if and what I wanted her to pray for me about. I asked her to pray about my issue and health. She gave me a huge, tight and warm hug that I really needed with all that is currently going on in my life. I could tell that she really cared despite that I wasn't necessarily telling her my personal issue to get a reaction of sympathy but rather to inform her on why I missed her. This lady blessed me and sometimes I have found that, that hug or gesture of love, care, or concern can come from someone God sends your way as a complete stranger or vessels with a genuine hug and prayer like this woman delivered to me along with Thanksgiving dinner as a bonus. I'm ever grateful for Thanksgiving dinner but what matters more to me is togetherness. When you don't have that, Thanksgiving is just a big dinner. She eliminated what started off bad (with the coordinator) by giving what Thanksgiving is really about which is love in the form of a big genuine hug and I hope God blesses her for it.
