Excellent property, but far from city. Average service.

Its like a single star hotel. Totally wastage of money. No sanitization. Bad service with bad quality food. No professionalism. Totally wastage

This place is very shabby and needs heavy maintenance. The AC plant hasn't been working for a few days and yet the problem remains. On the other hand, the staff is not cooperative. No matter how severe the problems can get, they refuse to address the problem or even take charge to get it sorted on their front. Leaving everything aside, they don't have a first aid kit in the hotel. We faced some issue but the hotel didn't even have band-aids to give out.

Facilities are limited, and that too old-school. I had to point out so many things but to no avail. I was informed that this was once a Taj Hotel. No wonder that Taj is not associated because of their unprofessional attitude towards guests. I wondered how come such a pathetic hotel have good ratings and reviews, when I read all the reviews, I learned that guests either wanted to post for THE UMAID BHAWAN PALACE of Jodhpur, OR the reviews are from the time when this place belonged to Taj Hotels.

The owner of the hotel stays on the property and he's pretty infamous when it comes to his behavior. I was told by someone in-house that because of his restrictions staff cannot proactively help the in-house guests. Living in such a modern world, hearing stories about such working environment really puts me off. We are paying hefty sums to enjoy the stay but all they do is take the money and leave you stranded.

The hotel uses very old technology for the keycards, which you have to activate every next hour, otherwise it will not work. I made my booking almost a month ago, but they gave my room to someone else on the same day of check-in. Upon complaining, they forced the in-house guests (Foreign nationals) to leave from the hotel and then gave me the room without proper cleaning.

How about getting an austere NO for an answer from the reception desk in a hotel? If you want to experience that, go to this hotel and seek assistance. I shall never return to this place.

Stayed for 2 Nights with group from Ireland we found the staff very friendly and helpful.The accommodation was very comfortable and the food was excellent with something to suit every taste.We stayed in several hotels on our trip but the Ummed stood out because it seems to have more authentic Indian charm. What a beautiful property! The staff, the rooms, the food, and the comfort of this place was amazing. Three of us friends were there for a night and enjoyed thoroughly, their pool, billiards table, breakfast buffet and most importantly the vast green area that houses many peacocks was a rare and amazing experience! They have an in-house dance bar which was as shady as it sounds but was not really a cause of concern. Day or night, the beautiful property keeps one mesmerised!

The property was good enough, a huge one at that. The staff was courteous, at least the housekeeping staff was. The place is difficult to spot in moving traffic as the name outside is pretty small to notice. Thanks to Google Maps here. The service, however, was horrendous. Not on one occasion, but Everytime I required something, I had to call them up 2 or 3 times. It didn't even get better after complaining. With the kind of property they have, only a little effort on the services would go long enough.

Grounds are beautiful and great for pictures, however the bedsheets and pillow covers were dirty and the folks at the front desk are bordering unprofessional at times. The hotel is located outside central Jodhpur so it is relaxing and calm but keep in mind that it is impossible to call an Uber there.

The hotel is well placed outside the city and it's a peaceful place. The rooms are luxurious. There is a good swimming pool too. The service is great. The behavior of the staff is excellent.

I booked this hotel thinking it to be the best hotel online reviews and then decided to stay .<br/>My first visit to Rajasthan and especially after such beautiful hospitality by Jaisalmer I travelled for 4 and Half hours and then looking forward to my stay with the ummeed hotel Jodhpur they disappointed me terribly when I reached to the reception to check in they said the room is not in place and their washrooms are under progress and then they gave option of booking another room talking about money where in they didn't even think twice that I had booked suite for two nights which was the most expensive room in their hotel and didn't have courtesy to even speak to suite guest and then I wanted to check that suite to see if genuinely the washroom was under construction they said maintenance team not allowing ..really the hotel thinks we are fools then on request to meet their manager that sweet fellow told us the truth of that they just shifted their office in that room really <br/>I just had booked room last night and also confirmed with the hotel <br/>It was so disappointing that 5 star property doing something like this with their guests and lieing and even forgot to unlist it on their online site where people book their room <br/>How sad the ummed has become and their hospitality <br/>I really need answer from the hotel <br/>Akshay and recommending you not to go to the hotel <br/>It's bad

Super location, historical place nice room in lowest rate for other hotel in jodhpur 3*

It's a really nice, good and beautiful place. But the rooms are dimly lighted. We had a wedding there. When we used to get ready for the day,we weren't able to see ourselves. Else everything is really fabulous.

Best service and best luxury hotel i have ever been.

Its a very big property and well maintained. Located in the suburbs of the Jodhpur. Rooms are spacious, clean and cosy. Staff was polite and courteous. Food was above average. We got complimentary access to the pool table, swimming pool, horse riding, games etc which was a great deal. I definitely recommend this hotel in around 4 to 5k price range.

The rooms are ok can be updated. The food was good and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Nice Hotel, Great Staff, Top class Hospitality.
Although, you may notice some technical problems with key cards and WiFi, but thats secondary.
