Excellent location a few steps from the Duomo and the Metro stop. Very kind staff, we were also allowed to access our room well in advance of the check-in time, as it is already available. Excellent breakfast.

This is a design hotel, and it shows. Clean lines, modern style. It's very Milano, the design centre of Italy (perhaps the world). I liked the look of the room, but style and function aren't always in sync. I had to climb under a table to find what is I think the only electrical outlet in the room to charge my electronic devices. But they do provide a Bluetooth speaker for guests to use. Some things were counter intuitive, where light switches are, for example. And the lovely rain style showerhead is strategically located so that it's impossible to take a complete shower without wetting your hair. There is a stylish bench and a matching Ottoman, but no chair. The location however is ideal if you want to shop or visit the Duomo. Wi-fi signal is good. Would prefer a connection that requires a password, but that's a quibble. Breakfast is pretty standard, soy milk is on offer for cereal and coffee. Fruit is fresh and good quality. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Stayed at Straf hotel in Milan between May 31 and June 2.

Pros:
Hotel staff were efficient and accommodating.
Good location as it is near tourist attractions.

Cons:
Hotel room while artistic, is not well-designed; the room is painted black throughout making it looks extremely gloomy.
And because of the dark room, dust and dust mites are visible.
Housekeeping service needs improvement as room remains unkempt even after cleaning service.
Because the bathroom counter space is built at knee height, there s a lot bending over when I needed to use things that are placed on it.

Beautiful, ultra modern design hotel, located at steps of the Duomo. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Everything that is needed is there to enjoy a good stay at Milan.

It was a really nice hotel! Big rooms and it was calm, yet we were close to many restaurants and the Milan Cathedral. Definetely would recommend.

Excellent Hotel, beautiful design. Great rooms, and ecoxriendly as well. There is no location in Milan which is closer to the city center. We have been coming for years and will continue to do so!!

I went to the hotel bar for a drink. Elegant restaurant in front of the Milan Cathedral. Drinks and food (despite the small choice) very good for only 10 . Bathroom a little dirty. Unfortunately that also it depends on the rudeness of certain customers

The hotel's location next to the Domo Museum is a great location

Great designer hotel with cool rooms in the very center of Milan. Awesome location for seeing the must-see sights and of course the very best of shopping in the immediate vicinity. Hotel Cafe turned into fancy bar in the mate afternoon with DJ and tons of people. Slowest check-in and checkout I've experienced in a long time, and not the place if you look for peace and quiet.

Great location and wonderful breakfast options. Room was a bit small, but pristine.

Straf is awesome, rooms are unusual and artsy, there's a Bluetooth speaker TV with premium channels a bar next door and it's right next to duomo. Milan is so hot right. Now but you would not know it the air con is perfect in the room. Would recommend.

I have frequented the bar-restaurant of the STRAFhotel several times for lunch and have always had a great time. A small but good quality menu, I have always found different dishes linked to seasonal products after several months. The young staff is professional and kind, the average high prices are definitely competitive for the area. Highly recommended.

And one of the best places in the center for the aperitif ever. The music, the attendance ... immediately makes you want to make an evening. I like it

Very good Hotel, central location and ideal for exploring the city. Parking is available next door in the Rinascente shopping center. The rooms are pleasant, well appointed and decorated. The hotel is quiet and has everything you need.

Perfect location just steps from the Duomo, shopping and lots of restaurants.

The interior is very modern and industrial. The concrete floors were cool, but slippers are provided so you don t have to walk barefoot. The bed was a little hard for my preference and a bit tilted, which was odd but not a deal breaker.

Breakfast was delicious with a decent variety of options and the coffee was great. Front desk staff was also very kind.

Nice place full of young people, I stayed there for lunch and I enjoyed their carbonara with artichokes, the service was a bit slow but I wasn't in a hurry and I had time to speak with my colleagues

Sleek, modern hotel right in the heart of Milan! You can t beat the location: the Duomo is steps away, great shopping and restaurants are right at your fingertips, and pretty much all of Milan is walkable from here. Two tips though. 1) Don t bring a car, you won t need one. And 2) While the rooms were nice, you won t have much room to store things thanks to their swanky minimalist decor.

The place is very small. There is more outside seating. In the winter outdoor sitting is not the best option. The staff is friendly.

Surprisingly one of the best aperitivo i've had with my wife while travelling in Milano. Totally recommended, worth to visit!

I loved it. The unbeatable location. 50 meters from the Plaza de la Catedral. The service from 10. The breakfast buffet is very good. The philosophy of the establishment is fantastic.

Nice hotel with the perfect location. The staff though... They had no issue to charge me room services and city taxes from another client. My room was the 302 when hers was 112, to make this mistake for me is just pure inefficiency.

By email, I explained them as clearly as I could. My invoice was the double of what it should be but they are still not able to figure things out properly.

A hotel can be really well decorated and well located but if the staff is really bad, it is better to be somewhere else.

Great place for an aperitif, if I'm not wrong on Thursday they do live music. Target between 30 and 40, if you are in the center and want to have a drink "in" the straf bar is the right place!

I was only at the bar, which is very welcoming, excellent cocktails, even the mini buffet, which makes available very good, there are not many food alternatives but all in all the bar for aperitifs is perfect, great place outside with the sofas on the street they give that extra thing I really like so much with the low sofas as if I were sitting on the floor. Really good I will be back

Nice and very well-kept furnishing and design room, with seating both inside and out, a stone's throw from the cathedral. very good cocktails, aperitifs at very rich and good buffet. Prices slightly above average but in line with other restaurants in the same area. Pleasant and chic environment

Among the historical wonders, a visit to the Duomo is mandatory. There are several entrances, on holidays the entrance to the cathedral is free but the entrances to the terrace are closed. You can also witness the Holy Mass.

Funky hotel, in a good way, with an enviable location right next to the Galleria and Duomo. Rooms were small, but efficient with nice design touches. I especially liked the gold/bronzed metal covered bathroom. It felt as if all that metal would protect or seclude you from being located by any electronic means. Gym was small, but had everything needed. I didn't go to the bar, but it was happening.

Excellent location just behind the Duomo with many shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are new and clean with an interesting design and the service is very good. This will be our first choice when visiting Milan, highly recommended!

Make an aperitif somewhere else. 20 euros for 2 "dry" aperitifs without half a chip

The main benefit of this hotel is that it is close to Galleria, Duomo, and metro station Duomo. I stayed on points, so I don't know re pricing in terms of value for money. Breakfast is decent as far as Marriott standard goes. Rooms are supposed to be modern but they feel like black box with distressed glass and floors, a bit worn out; bathroom is also all black, which is a bit depressing. I would not say that cleaning staff do a good job with rooms. However, generally staff are friendly, especially the older lady who makes cappuccinos for breakfast and the two front desk managers. So it was ok for 2 nights but nothing spectacular. Also, working desk is not convenient at all.

Location is the best near to Duomo. The interior is hard but it is difficult to understand the position of the door and it is necessary to get used to it

Stayed here for three nights last October when we were on a small city break in Milan. Very central location right next to the Milan Cathedral, I think it couldn't be more central if you are in the side street of the cathedral and can see the cathedral from the window. Parking in a multi-storey car park 2 minutes from the hotel. Attention subject to surcharge! Cool rooms, with massage armchairs, nice staff. The breakfast buffet is definitely expandable. Very, very small portions and not exactly tasty. There is definitely room for improvement for the price!
