Hotel Royal Sun Review

Simply surprisingly, with an excellent value-for-site price relationship

Thank you very much for looking after us so well! We only stayed 1 night at the end of our holiday to catch our early morning flight, but, the hotel is fantastic! The view is amazing, the bar staffs were super friendly and they even prepared for our packed breakfast for our 4am departure! Thank you so much!

Modern and organized hotel. Nice hotel room with great views. Good parking facilities. Room service could be better. Panoramic view from the parking lot towards Old Town. Helpful staff. Good breakfast but hot food was cold. Could be better. Didn't have tray to carry the food with. Otherwise, nice and clean in the hotel itself. Worth the money.

Highly recommended, magnificent view from both room and restaurant. Complimentary minibus to and from town centre. Rich breakfast and lunch choices.

Lovely lovely staff and great views. Hotel run a good shuttle bus into town. Walls are thin and you'll probably hear your neighbour's.

This had to be the best value hotel we have ever stayed in by far. Wonderful staff, fantastic pool and the free shuttle into town every half hour tips it off. This is the second time we stayed here and loved it as much as last time. The restaurant is great also. Highly recommended

Hotel of good quality. Important enough to have some infrastructure and that remains on a human scale. Friendly staff, very good breakfast, very well equipped gym (although it's a little bazaar), nice pool. The shuttle is very handy for getting to the cane.

We only went to the cafe. We didnt stay at the hotel. Excellent view, you basically see the whole Chania town. I didn't add the 5th star because of the menu - it felt too simple for such a great location and atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Rooms were just what we wanted and had a absolutely beautiful restaurant and very high standard food!! Would definitely recommend!!!!

A few minutes from Chania - center. Excellent breakfasts, views from the rooms and from the restaurant / breakfast room. The hotel is renovated - I recommend pokpje after renovation, especially those directly by the pool (101-106). The cushion should not clean the breakfast room during o'clock hours, but I was out of season. It does not matter - it's important that it is clean. Parking, wifi and real courtesy included. I would recommend. Hotel worth 300 PLN / room.

RoyalSun is the best stay for flashpackers - it s possibly the fastest and most reliable internet in the city, easy to get around (they have free shuttles going everywhere every 30min or so), food is amazing (and Sofia is such a nice person! She ll make sure you re taken care of!) - small note to millennials: they have almond milk!

Fabulous view and the sun shines all day long in the pool due to their strategic architecture and position up in the mountain (they carved it to build the hotel)

An excellent shop in the center of Cauliflower in Chania.

The view is drop dead gorgeous especially if you drive all the way round and enter through the upstairs reception. Rooms are beautifully renovated and it's worth every cent splurging an extra 15-$20 for the superior room with ocean views. The website, name and description do not do this hotel justice. The shuttle busses to the Old Town are very regular with safe, polite drivers. The advantage of staying here vs in the town are obviously the view, the quiet and the pool deck.

Absolutely beautiful, very clean rooms, amazing views, beautiful pool. The shuttle bus takes you to the heart of chania very conveniently. 100% recommended, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Nice place with perfect views. It has parking. There are several options on the menu for food and dessert, in addition to coffee. Good prices.
On the downside the very slow service. This of course is not due to the employees but to the fact that for such a large space and with people usually have only two people. Tragic. Should we wait 40 minutes for a coffee? Also at the place where I sat the roof was dripping from the rain.

Always loved going to the restaurant there. The service is unbeatable and the food and cocktails are excellent. Cannot wait to go back and visit one day

Very good hotel .... we usually go here to eat ... the food is delicious .... and the view is something .... the whole city is in full view
