Good food in the restaurant, lovely theater environment in the bar and cozy small couch groups where large buddy gangs have room to hang out. Nice bar staff who are knowledgeable in their profession.

SEK 200 for a dry & burnt burger, In today's situation with all burger restaurants, rivals should rethink or try to keep up with the turn. The menu is otherwise very poor.

Went to Rival for hotel breakfast. 225 kr and just fine with just big buffet plus pancakes, poor knights etc. on order and good coffee.

Nice ambiance. Okay prices. Good shows. One of my favourites, especially the bar in the hotel lobby.

The bartender took 5 people before me and my party, even though we got in touch and showed that we would order. However, very lovely show by Al Pitcher!

Stayed here for 2 days with my wife. The hotel is superb. I didn't sleep anywhere better than here. They have so good beds, pillows and all that stuff.

The brunch was great. Good selections of salmon, shrimp, different sallads and a hot buffet with pancakes. The desserts was really good.

A nice hotel with good service. We upgraded to a superior room which was decent but it didn't have air conditioning so the room was very warm at night. The corridor was much cooler and we almost considered sleeping there instead.

I was there and saw Pernilla Wahlgren's show. My only thought was that the bar and show's guests shared toilets which created stress among those who were going on the show. Otherwise it was very cozy and just big!

Nice and nice reception by the staff. Clean and nice room. Good breakfast with a selection that is well enough. Cozy and cozy atmosphere. What is unfortunately lacking is a sound leakage between the rooms via the ventilation. TVs and voices from adjacent rooms are heard. Nothing unique to Rival, but not fun the times that you encounter it.

We were and saw Bo Kasper's orchestra and after the concert we ate at the hotel restaurant. Both the music and the food were very good.

Incredibly friendly staff and comfortable rooms and bed. The bathroom floor is even heated! The hotel food was really good too and it was probably the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Huge buffet but additional items like pancakes you can have made to order.

Rival is located in the heart of South Central Stockholm, a short walk from Subway Mariatorget. An abundance of restaurants cafes and shopping surrounds the hotel. Bartending at rival is extremely slow, I gave up buying a beer after 10 minutes. Otherwise nice with a pretty theater with comfortable seats a generous legroom.

Brunch at Rival is always nice, is centrally located and has a good selection. If you are to complain and be fussy, I think it is a little good food and not so much breakfast. The price, however, is more adapted for a more moderate brunch, highly personal opinion, however, many do not agree;)

Great hotel but also a great pub, and place for seminars

Beautiful hotel with a subtle ABBA theme. Stayed in a superior double with a balcony onto the inner courtyard. I'd recommend taking a drink on the 1st floor terrace overlooking the square, which is open to visitors too.

As a Stockholm tourist guide I had several tourists who stayed at the Rival hotel. The location seems decentralized compared to other 4 * hotels but instead is suitable for all those who want to stay in the center in a quiet location. In fact, the street where the hotel entrance is located is practically closed to traffic. The rooms are modern and clean, the staff is well prepared and the breakfast is excellent. A great experience for those who want to try a hotel other than the usual hotel chains.

Nice environment. The staff have a little bad check on the bill and had to pay more than what you ordered.

Amazing location across from a park, many restaurants, and walking distance to trams/ferries. Great breakfast buffet. Rooms are. Comfortable and stylish, with good views of the town.

Trendy. Modern art with painted cocks (absolutely true) I thought was fine.

Nice bistro with balcony. The food was good and the service really nice. We were a bit tough and became a person more during the sitting and needed to change tables. It was no problem.

An excellent hotel on the Southern Island just across the water from the old town. Stylish rooms. We had a balcony facing the park which was great. Lovely bars and there is even a theatre there. Breakfast very good and staff excellent.

The brunch: OK but not affordable. + Nice staff + Quiet and no freaky music + Good banana dessert / interesting taste of smoked salmon. - I have eaten several breakfast buffets which are both cheaper and better, and brunches in the same price range that have been much better. - It feels like you have invested in having an OK menu, just enough for guests not to think it is bad. - The pancakes, airy but unfortunately rather tasteless and also dry. - Ribs, tender but very boring seasoning - Pannacottan, too compact and felt like a cheap topping. - The interesting smoked salmon was unfortunately dry everywhere except at the skin. - The lasagna had a very bland and boring taste The list goes on about the same. If you are interested in good food, Rival is not supposed to brunch, unfortunately!

Nice Hotel bar with a little more people then the average hotel bar.

Good, but above all it was the theater and the bar that we visited.

A real bar with real bartenders. Not any glorified beer mounts.
