+ Nice staff
+ Quiet and no freaky music
+ Good banana dessert / interesting taste of smoked salmon.
- I have eaten several breakfast buffets which are both cheaper and better, and brunches in the same price range that have been much better.
- It feels like you have invested in having an OK menu, just enough for guests not to think it is bad.
- The pancakes, airy but unfortunately rather tasteless and also dry.
- Ribs, tender but very boring seasoning
- Pannacottan, too compact and felt like a cheap topping.
- The interesting smoked salmon was unfortunately dry everywhere except at the skin.
- The lasagna had a very bland and boring taste
The list goes on about the same. If you are interested in good food, Rival is not supposed to brunch, unfortunately!
