We requested an early check in. Didn t happen. Was quoted a price over the phone, upon receiving my invoice via email, it was over 80.00 more. Customer service is below normal. Will not recommend this hotel NOR stay there again. Do NOT recommend.

Lovely hotel.... we enjoyed our stay. Staff was helpful, friendly, efficient and professional. We have stayed at a few hotels in the Rittenhouse Square area and The Palomar was the best. We will be back!

Friendly staff, beautiful building, and they host a very generous wine hour in the evenings. I had an all around enjoyable experience and cannot recommend the king spa suite enough. Also they allow dogs which is a plus even if you do not own a dog. I got to see many nice dogs during my stay.

The front desk staffs were friendly and helpful. I really like that they have a photo of themselves without a mask at the front desk. Also, the hotel provide free wine when you check in between 5-6pm.

The room did not meet our expectations. The shower knob and stopper were broken. The pillows were not fluffy. The AC wasn t working. Our thermostat was set at 65f throughout the night, next morning the room temperature was still 75f.

We opt to cut our trip short because we rather drive back and rest at our home.

Lastly, the doorman was horrible.. my wife was having trouble rolling our bags. They didn t even notice and tried to help her.

Great boutique hotel in the middle of downtown. Excellent rate. Rooms were clean and perfect. Front desk staff were polite and attentive to our every request. We had a large party of people and everything was perfect. 5 rooms, multiple names, floors, traveler numbers, and everything was handled perfectly. For downtown Philly this is a fantastic option. Next time we go back we'll go here again.

Decent. Small room. There was dust behind the furniture and on the bed frame. When we let them know, they said that they would let housekeeping know. We asked for late checkout- an extra hour, and were told no even though they had plenty of open rooms. Not four star material.

If you only care about location, this hotel is for you. Otherwise, the rooms are small, lack basic features and comforts, and in no way reflect the supposed star-status of this establishment. The vallet attendants are great but good luck with getting any other service..... Housekeeping has been suspended and they do not provide sufficient linens for your stay at check in. Instead, you have to call the front desk for extras and pray someone fulfills your request this century. It is crazy.....

The suite was awesome!! The only complaint I had was that the hotel only accepted credit cards that had a chip. Unfortunately, I paid for the hotel previously and I would have lost my money and had no room if I didn't use a friend's card

Great Hotel in a Great Location. Room was nice with a great view. Bed was comfortable! What really made the stay was the customer service. Danielle at the front desk was excellent! From Check in to Check out, I felt she really went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and provided great recommendations in the city.

If you are looking for a hotel near Rittenhouse Sq...

If you are looking for a hotel near Rittenhouse Square that s reasonably priced and that feels very safe given all the new coronavirus restrictions, you should seriously consider staying at The Palomar hotel. We spent two nights there and found the staff of the hotel to be helpful and professional. The room we stayed in was spacious and surprisingly quiet. In the mornings we had complementary coffee that was served by the staff at the front desk. The coffee was fresh and delicious. While they don t offer valet parking, we saw this as a gift since the hotel staff recommended a very reasonable parking lot just a few steps from the hotel. We have stayed at other Kimpton Hotels and have always been impressed with the services they provide.
