Hotel Oceania Reviews

This was our second time staying at the Hotel Oceania. We chose it based on a Rick Steves review a number of years ago and were not disappointed when we returned this June. The rooms have high ceilings and are comfortable with comfortable beds and full size bathrooms. Breakfast is wonderful and the buffet offerings will fill you enough for your walks through the streets of Rome. It is close enough to the train station so it makes for transfers to either train connections or car rental easy. Kira and her staff helped us find great local restaurants, printed out maps to help us navigate our way out of Rome, and were generous with their suggestions for maximizing our three days in Rome. I would return again and again.

Clean and comfortable place in the central part of Rome. Recommend. The hotel fully justified the ratio of price and quality. Delicious pies for breakfast, interesting atmosphere of the Roman houses.

Clean mid range safe family run hotel. Functional air and at times poor water pressure. Furniture somewhat dated. Nice location staff friendly and helpful. Single elevator to hotel floor in multiuse building.

Very impressed with this hotel. We saw it on a Rick Steve's PBS show for Rome, Italy. Loved this quaint hotel. Extremely friendly staff and location made this a great memory and stay for me and my wife. Would definitely book this hotel over and over when visiting Rome. Thank you for a wonderful experience to all the Hotel Oceana staff! You all Rock!

Great location, air conditioning, and ok internet connection. The lock on our door took 5 minutes to unlock every time. The locks should be updated.

Perfect location in the center on rome. Close all the most importan side to explore in rome. The rooms where comfortably but not beautiful the staff where perfect they did it all to make me happy how to get to places and even other reservations for restotant museum and even. It is a bargaing for my money

the accommodations are moderate. Rick Steve's stayed here. The rooms and facilities are extraordinary clean and well taken care of. And the staff is wonderful and then, dating. That is wonderfully friendly and accommodating. That is wonderfully friendly and accommodating

Amazing location. Shady elevator. Lovely rooms and staff.

Very good hotel! The only one was excellent, I did not have to spend on public transport because it was close to all the meeting points of the different Tours that I took.
