The absolutely worse place I have ever stayed .It was filthy . We found long brown hair on the shower, on the towels and even between the sheets . The hair dryer didn't work and we called around 7 am and a man came to fix it at noon. I complained about the hair and the lady at the front said sorry, they have been busy .Dont waste your money . Really awful place .

The decor and relative appearance is quaint and homey and bears the wear and tear of such a homey place. The entire room was impressively clean and everything is neat and tidy. The employees that I've encountered are very pleasant and easy to talk to. The man I talked to at reception, Daniel, was very helpful. He gave us precise, concise directions to not only our room, but also to our destination the next day. We did not eat the breakfast, but it was complimentary in the morning with our room deal which I appreciated. Appearance: 3.5/5 Staff: 4.5/5 Cleanliness: 6/5 Organization: 4/5 The TV channel selection is wonderful and the TVs are nice and clear and the sound is rather excellent for TV speakers. Great A/C. The shower would've been a perfect score if the water pressure was stronger, though that's only an opinion and not conducive of other's satisfaction. However, the shower head has a few different options (the stronger option was, unfortunately, too strong and streamlined for me, but only for me. Like everything else, very clean, neatly kept. Nice little toiletries. The room we got came with a hairdryer. It also had an iron, ironing board, a microwave, a fridge, and a coffee maker with accessories for making your own. It's surrounded, and I mean completely surrounded, by restaurants and stores. Just ten minutes away is a shopping strip. Don't get too excited, though, parking is a pain as is to be expected. The parking won't empty your wallet, though, should you find a good place. -- Google said "as much detail as possible" about everything, including location. I could've put more but my sarcasm only goes so far.

A simple motel in Santa Barbara. For one or two nights perfectly okay. The beds were good, on the wall hung a fat flat screen (Samsung, loose 50 inches). TV offer was not so huge, but you could stream from the phone Netflix & Co, but the (free) wireless internet was easy enough. They even have a pool, but was too cold in February. Inclusive breakfast is quite simple, you pick up at the front desk and then eat in the room or outside, depending on the weather and the weather.

This motel is clean and acceptable. Parking is tight, the spaces are a little on the small side and there isn't quite enough. The breakfast is just some pastries and coffee, nothing for non-coffee drinkers.

Absolutely perfect. Cute little place that was relatively clean, with a big TV and nice beds. Shower wasn't great, and the complimentary breakfast was pathetic, but for the price it was everything I needed. Would 100% come back next time I visit Santa Barbara!!!

The sheets were not changed from the prior guest. When I went to get into bed for the evening and pulled back the covers there were someone else's dried, crusty and bloody boogers on the side of the sheet. It was disgusting.

STAY AWAY! THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!!!!!

STAY AWAY! THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!!!!!

I came to SB for a job interview and since the area is so nice, hotels/motels are quite expensive. I chose Oasis because the reviews were decent and the price was OK.
I arrived and the lady that was working behind the counter was very nice. I got my room key and unloaded all my stuff into my room. Right after that, I realized how filthy my room was.
The first thing that I noticed was gum that was stuck to my blanket. There was makeup and snot stains on all my pillows. There was long brown hair in between the bed cover and the sheets. There was also gunk on the floor. In between the fridge and the shelf it sat on, there was heavy dust and spider webs.
I went to the front desk and told them that I was going to need a new room. Immediately, that lady that was so nice at the beginning, became very rude. She asked me what was wrong and I told her that my room was filthy and I even brought the worst pillow in to show her so she knew I wasn't just complaining over nothing. She told me that they couldn't really do anything because I checked in an hour ago. REALLY?!? You think in 1 hour, I decided to grow long brown hair, play around with makeup, and rub snot all over the room?! First of all, I'm a man that's by himself so obviously the long brown hair and makeup wasn't me. And WHAT BENEFIT would it serve me to make my room dirty!?! Yeah I totally want to pick up all my stuff that I just unloaded, pack it up, and move to another room! YOU GOT ME!
So the lady behind the counter comes to my room because she wants me to show her everything going on in my room. She pretty much tried to dismiss all my complaints.
I told her that since they wouldn't give me a different room, I wanted them to void the charges on the credit card and that I was going to stay somewhere else. She said that I could do that. She goes outside to call her manager to let her know what was going on, then barges right back in the room (still technically mine at the moment so a knock would have been nice) and says, "So.... how fast do you think you can be out of here?" EXCUSE ME?! I'M SORRY, AM I INCONVENIENCING YOU BY NOT WANTING A FILTHY ROOM?! She basically told me that she needed me to leave within the next couple minutes because their maid was about to go home for the day and since my room was filthy, I was requiring her to stay later than she needed to in order to clean the room. MAYBE if she cleaned it properly the FIRST TIME, we wouldn't have this problem??!
About 2 minutes later, the maid knocks on the door and I open it up. She barges right in (while my hands are full of all my stuff because I'm trying to get out of there). She grabs the chair in the room and places it RIGHT IN THE DOORWAY to keep the door open and apparently doesn't care that it COMPLETELY impeded me from leaving the building.

TERRIBLE customer service
TERRIBLE maid service
TERRIBLE place to stay

DO NOT STAY HERE! STAFF ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND CHARGE YOU FOR NIGHTS YOU NEVER STAYED AND CANCELLED IN TIME FOR! They refused to refund our money, even after explaining to them that we had already cancelled days prior, because we no longer were stopping in Santa Barbara.. I MADE SURE TO CANCEL IN TIME and the staff had the nerve to scream at me. Absolutely ridiculous.

Continental breakfast. I love the fact that the have mini fridges and offer cribs for babies/toddlers. Decent TV channel selection. Huge TVs for the room size. Not a lot of handicap parking. Parking in general is poor.

Good location, not to far from downtown. Clean rooms, free parking, free continental breakfast and outdoor pool (not heated). The weekend front office employee was very helpful. She gave us great tips on things to do and places to visit.

T.V. remote doesn't change channels (you have to manually change channels yourself). The fridge had water in it from melting ice maybe from the fridge being turned off between clients. Wifi had poor connection and then was not able to connect at all for the final night and morning before checkout. Breakfast is a crowded room (front lobby) where people awkwardly try to get their "free" breakfast and have to say "excuse me" and "oops, I'm sorry" to everyone you bump into or get in the way of while in pjs and barely awake. Coffee machine in room only has decalf. ( I don't understand that). Cleaning lady came into the room and emptied trash only. Did not clean floor, make bed, or give fresh towels. I'm very disappointed with my stay.

Everything Considered... This is a Last Result:

Everything Considered... This is a Last Result:

If you've extensively looked for budget-friendly hotels and still can't seem to find a decent rate, and this one somehow seems affordable, then by all means, book it. But at an egregious 100.00USD+ a night, even a Best Western has more to offer.

To begin, the online gallery makes this property appear promising. A little dated, but doable. Upon reaching the destination, however, the world of filters and strategic photographs fades, and you're left with what actually exists in reality:

Upon check-in, an older gentleman of Asian descent made sure to remind me of the property rules over and over: "You have an overnight guest, I will charge you 100.00... you smoke in the room, I will charge you 100.00... you don't check out by 11:00am with both keys, (you guessed it) I will charge you 100.00..."

Needless to say, I hoped for the best after this encounter. But all was not well upon entering the room. I have to preface this by saying that my stay was only for one night, but I still paid 143.00USD by the end of it, so let me be clear here:

DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE UNLESS IT IS A LAST RESORT.

If the photos of my double-queen room are not convincing enough, let me tell you that the mattresses (if we can even call them that) are sure to give you a sore back-- and that's coming from someone who finds sleeping on the floor comfortable!

There must be a dozen hotels that offer the same rate with way better accommodations. I was, unfortunately, not in charge of this booking.

People were shouting and drinking just outside our room in the parking lot, going in and out of their rooms slamming doors until well after 3 am. Also the phone rang multiple times well after midnight when we were trying to sleep and no one would be there when we answered (prank calls). The room was passable but very dated and banged up- not near what I expected for the $270 we paid for our one night stay.

I do not understand the good reviews. What are you people smoking? Were you paid to say good things? Being objective.... this place is horrible.

Worst motel experience ever.

This motel does not even understand the concept of HOSPITALITY. They were rude at check in....

They were not welcoming or even nice.

The said they upgraded us to a suite....they upgraded me to the noisiest, closest to the main street in the area...On the street, room. This was the nosiest place ever..We didn't sleep a wink.

The bed must have been 20 years old. The cheap fake hardwood floors had no area rugs and was noisy and weird.

The next day.....

We lost track of time at the Museum and when we realized it, we got back to the room to check out. Check out is at 11 and we were out of the room by noon. As we were loading up the car they called me up and VERY RUDELY told me to get out of the room. I told them that we lost track of time and were loading up and out. She said good. Not even a nice word....

Oh and the room is infested with ants. Really?

Stay away from this dump. It's location is good, but this is a flop house joint. Do not let appearances fool you...

Go somewhere else

Quiet and comfortable. Close to many restaurants and attractions in Santa Barbara. The rates are some of the cheapest in the area. The hotel is just a few miles from UC Santa Barbara and beaches. The room was clean and very spacious. It was a suite with a separate kitchenette and sleeper sofa. The staff was courteous. Would definitely stay again.

Cute place, accommodating place , beds were comfy even the rolling bed we requested was comfy. Rooms are a little older but clean , bathrooms clean ,pool was nice. Overall I definitely would recommend it and the price is great. It's about 15 mins from the beach & bar scenes but it's located near stores and a mall so theres stuff around you.

We got a two roomed suite with a kitchenette. The sofa in the second room pulls out to a perfectly comfortable sleeper so the room could technically sleep 6 slender adults. There are only two of us and for just over $600, it's a great deal for 4 weeknights. The location is central and safe, close to many restaurants, a shopping mall, stores and places to walk. The staff is very friendly which is why we returned to this suite for the second time and will come again. Thank you!

Price performance technically very bad. The rooms were worn down to the bathroom and at night it was loud around our room as other people still had to quarrel outside. The sofa bed was the worst on our three week trip. The staff in the lobby was rude. The only additional star is the location on State Street. The hotel is not recommended.

Nice motel, with its own parking. Conveniently located on a main road that leads to the harbor. The traffic is sustainable. Nice and clean rooms, with nice bathroom. Price performance is great. The breakfast is very sparse and must be taken outside or in the room.

This is one of the better Inns we have been stayed. The whole area has a nice style with sitting and relaxing areas. Our room was clean, air conditioning was already running and internet was as fast as the good wifi connection went. Breakfast was also good (compared to other Inns they also provided some fruits). There is also a computer terminal near the front desk that is connected to the office printer. We were able to print our rail tickets which was pretty nice.
