Simple motel with a nice, cozy outdoor area. Rooms were clean and completely ok for 1-2 nights. Breakfast is served in the lobby and you can eat either in the garden or in your room. Parking spaces are free. Pool available outside was not used by us.

Due to the reviews, my anticipation was initially limited. Also the first impression was rather negative. The surprise was even greater. The room is really spacious & clean. There is even a small kitchen available.
The room is very quiet, although we live right on the street.
My expectations were therefore completely exceeded!

Should not be given two star rating. Furniture & carpet subpar, rust bottom of mini fridge door, stains on chairs, old dingy linens & found hairs in bed. Bathroom recently renovated but water pressure weak. Bed comfortable & hotel quiet during night. Grounds maintained fair but glass on vending machine had not been cleaned in a long time- was disgustingly dirty. Hotel clerk rude. When asking front desk person questions concerning breakfast she would not come to front desk only replied from room presumed to be an office. Asked if microwave available to heat instant oatmeal reply (again from office) water from hot pot warm enough . Advice: Stay away.

It's a casual motel with decent rooms. Ours was clean and had AC. There was some confusion the first morning when the front desk called to ask if we wanted "room service" which I assumed was turn-down service, which we declined (and this was kind of weird in the first place). About 30 minutes later, staff burst in to clean the room, regardless of our phone conversation AND a Do Not Disturb sign on the handle. Besides that incident, it was a pleasant stay with friendly staff, and I recommend it given the reasonable rate. The parking lot is a bit limited and we had to park on the street one night when the motel was fully booked. You get a parking pass, so the full lot was disappointing.

This place was easy to find and close to an exit off 101. However, the breakfast is pretty minimal (but there is Farmer Boy across the street which does a great breakfast). Room was clean, but had to ask for soap and shampoo. We were close to the road which was a bit noisy.

They were refurbishing a couple of rooms, so you might get lucky.

I enjoyed our stay here. It's a two star hotel so don't have your expectations as if it were a four star. It's a cute little place. The room was clean for us. The breakfast was fine and simple. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the SB area.

Quiet rooms. Comfy beds. The WiFi is pretty slow. The TV is huge! The room is large, the bathroom is nicely appointed. Two things, a dresser sure would be nice and the HVAC is so loud that we couldn't run it at night. I would stay here again though.

Dirty beds, dirty bathroom and the decor of the room (furniture, walls, doors, curtains, carpet, etc.) about 30 years old. The promised intercontinental breakfast (which, as far as I know, includes at least fresh eggs) does not exist and you have to carry the meager display (to be found in the reception !!!) across the courtyard so that you can eat it in your own room.

The whole thing was more of a horror trip than relaxation and I can only believe that the previous speakers were paid for their testimony.

For the price of around 124 dollars a night, this hotel is an absolute impertinence and strongly discouraged.

Beds and bath dirty (no tip for the maid for that). Equipment of the entire room is more than 30 years old and looks very used. The promised intercontinental breakfast is not existing (no eggs) and you have to carry it from the front desk to your own room to eat it.

The whole thing was more a horror trip as relaxing and all the other "good" comments to this hotel must be paid.

124 dollars per night is way too expensive and absolutely not worth it.

Super cute with nice gardens and a pool! Great location with grocery and laundry across the street. Clean rooms and nice staff! I had a king suite with its own little deck. Big TV, microwave, mini fridge, easy access to ice machine and vending. Very charming! Affordable, great value!

We enjoyed staying at Oasis, the location is quite central, with restaurants and shops right across the street. The room was clean and comfortable and they had upgraded us which was great. The Continental breakfast had a lot of different options, including bagels, pastries and toast, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, juice and hot tea and coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

Great spot on state street, close to good food and a few store's. The hotel its self is perfect weather you have a small family or are here for business, the biggest rooms they have are 2 Queen beds in the bedroom and they have a little living room with a full kitchen net. We stay here for weeks at a time doing different projects and alwyas stay here.

Booked a family suite here, the room was clean came with the usual amenities you would expect. I was surprised to find a two burner stove along with cookware in the room which also came with a set of plates and flatware for those who might need.

The only thing is breakfast was very basic with a small selection breads, cereal, boiled eggs and some fruit. The plus side is across the street Gelson's Market offers a vast selection of prepared or cooked to order items which is just a short walk away.

I booked the room online and added it would be a late check in. I made sure to call the day of check in to remind them again it would be a late a check in. I receive a call at 8:30pm asking if I would still be staying there. That's 3 times now! The parking was absolutely awful; very limited and tight spaces. The room was very basic; bed, table with 2 chairs, TV on the wall, a one cup coffee maker on top of a microwave which was stacked on top of a mini refrigerator on the floor in the corner of the room, iron and board in another corner next to a small hanging area. The bathroom was clean and came with small soaps but the blinds didn't exactly fit the window so I had to shove a towel underneath so people wouldn't be able to see in. I looked at pictures online and thought everything had been recently remodeled/new until I sat on the bed. The mattress is an old, very broken in, spring mattress that it was uncomfortable to sleep even with the added layer of foam underneath the sheets. Sleeping in my car would have been better. They do have vending machines that are full but only accept $1's. Their garden area is nice and green. In one part, there is a small bbq grill like you see at public parks. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was fresh; bagels, mini cinnamon rolls, mini muffins, Danish pastries, bananas, one person cereal boxes, milk, coffee. Check out was easy but the woman working the front desk seemed rude and unhappy. I will not stay here again.

I like the Oasis and try to stay there whenever I visit my daughter in Santa Barbara. The rooms are not cramped, reasonably priced, nicely decorated, and the grounds are very charming with the palm trees, the pool, and the padded outdoor chairs and sofas placed throughout.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the next door neighbors were a little loud. I was delighted that they calmed down at night and I got a good night's rest. Just enough parking for the motel clientele.

Nice, clean, convenient. Next to stores and restaurants. I stayed in one of the little cottages, (duplex type, has two separate motel rooms to it) and stands alone from the rest of the complex. Small room, but nicely decorated. The grounds were neatly manicured; sitting area by the pool. Service was good.

It is very nice. It has a garden area for you to sit and eat as well as a pool area in the front next to said garden area. The rooms are nice and clean and has a fridge and microwave in each room. The bathroom is a very nice and a nice size. Will definitely book here again.

Good location with restaurants near by. It was quiet and includes parking. Very cute outdoor decor. I give it three stars because the bed was uncomfortable, the bed was way too soft. Also, the room was too small. Overall, it was ok for one night.

Motel is very nice. We stayed one night. Beds are ok but the air conditioning makes noise even though it was off and then there were problems with the toilet, the water did not drain and after we went to the front desk and described this problem the gentleman pushed us into the hand at first we are annoyed, are we craftsmen now? Luckily we are not made of sugar and have solved the problem with pumping 3 times ... now we can laugh about it

Some comments are great and some are awful something big wrong with this place should be reported. Very bad price and quality services, front office employees says quiet rooms , put us in the oldest rooms, and all hotel rooms has low frequency nose from water pipes major damage impossible to sleep. Pictures of room is not as the real ones. Never will go again. Should not be two stars rated.

The kitchenette wasn't very clean. TV wires hanging over the sink. Sleeper sofa very "tired" and uncomfortable. One outlet and lamps didn't work.
Bathroom was not bad , ample supply of towels. Free continental breakfast hardly worth eating. Asked for late checkout, got 1 hour.

Worst experience ever! Horrible customer service from everyone there. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They were so rude and not helpful at all. All they did was yell at me and my family. I wouldn't even give them a one star if I had to. But I do recommend the Sunset hotel down the street. They were so nice and helped me last minute.

My family of 3 stayed for a week. We were treated poorly and disrespected. I was discriminated for having tattoos and accused of stealing. We are a quiet family, and we keep to ourselves. We even cleaned up after ourselves. I am truly disgusted at the manager's attitude and the housekeeper that entered our room twice without consent. Very disappointing.

When we arrived we were given one parking permit for a room that sleeps six. After we got in to our room we saw the beds advertised as 2 queen size beds were definitely full size beds. Worst of all the sheets on one of the beds had boogers stuck to the sheets. After complaining about the sheets not being changed between customers they replied most hotels don't change the sheets between customers.

We stayed for 2 nights at this amazing place. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They treated my whole family with respect. The pool was fun. The rooms are big. The breakfast had fruit, cereal, juice, bread, and coffee. The room was very clean. You can head straight down State Street to the beach. There is shopping close by. I love the spanish decor. I left me feeling rested and happy. Thank you amazing staff.

It is the best price we found in Santa Barbara, the room was fine, a bit old, but the bed was very comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly, we upgraded the room for the reservation free of charge. The center is 4 km away but on the same street as the hotel, easy to reach but by car, it is not a pleasant walk to do it walking. Little space to serve breakfast, is in the same reception, if many people are uncomfortable.

In room 6, it is very loud when people in adjacent room turn on the shower. The bathroom sink is too small - no space to put toiletries and the table is too small to eat at for two people, but the facility itself is quaint.

The atmosphere in this hotel is very amazing and very relaxing. I'm so happy that I get the chance to try their services because they are truly amazing at everything. Their staffs are very responsive and attentive while attending my needs in the hotel. The experience was all worth it, and thanks to these guys that made it happen. GOOD JOB!

Receptionist was welcoming. The room had descent furniture and sheets. Bath Towels were a little scratchy. The room we stayed in had a door that did not have proper noise insulation (gap on bottom of door) so other guests were noisy from outside. Basic contential breakfast that had everything you would expect. Parking was fine although I could see it being a problem on a busy night.

The place was very clean and tidy. Has a mini kitchenette. It was wonderful. Although the parking is horrendous. Hardly any parking spots and some parking spots are in front of entry ways so you have to squeeze by other people's cars with all your stuff.

I would recommend this place!

Everything dirty and dingy. Duvets with stains. Everything sticks and stinks. And I'm not even sensitive, but that was unreasonable. After three weeks USA drunk the worst coffee (drunk and poured away). Totally overpriced. Disappointing. Not even the location was special, but ok.

Very cute hotel. The rooms are big and the bathrooms are completely remodeled and very nice. Their continental breakfast exceeded my expectations. They offer a variety of toast, cereals, coffee and creamer, juices, bagles, and muffins. My only complaint is the house keepers. They were leaning against my room window talking and it was annoying and The floors were also pretty dirty, but I would stay here again.

Not the worst place I've ever been to. It was clean, blanket is basically a sheet so ask for extra if you get cold. Pillows aren't much of a pillow and beds are hard. It's cute though and the space was nice. I arrived at midnight-45 and the office was open and waiting for me. Continental breakfast is really just an unhealthy snack so I wouldn't bet on it. I wouldn't come back.

They did not change the sheets between guests and were confused when we brought it to their attention and had them change them. Do not stay here, with this you cannot be sure that anything is actually cleaned beyond an obvious mess. Plus, for a 6 person suite they only give you one parking pass and give you attitude when you ask for a second. This size of room should come with at least three of wanted/needed.
