Hotel Mont Tremblant/Nelly O'Connor's Pub Reviews

Classic style hotel chain. My room was furnished in the way a bit older generations would have liked. But great service and very friendly and helpful staff.

Worth the price for what it offers. Outdoor pool in the winter, water really warm. Cleaning is 5 stars everywhere. Staff is very friendly and checks on you via texting throughout your stay to make sure nothing is missing. Small issue regarding entrance to the pool and we were compensated with extra 2 slots of 30 minutes and late checkout . Ordered food at night and had one one of the best burgers I ve ever eaten. Top quality meat and probably over one pound of meat in the patty! Delicious! My wife loved the pizza! Definitely recommend and we will be back. We had a wonderful time during our stay.

Absolutely impressive staff, attention to details, courteous, smiling and helpful at all times. The rooms are a bit basic, and lack some of the modern tools others have (bluetooth speaker...) but highly recommend it. Catherine, but also all the staff, made our stay magical.

Food/Drinks:
- In room dining always provides very good quality and fresh food. It arrives in a timely manner and never disappoints
- Le Ricochet located inside the hotel has great quick snacks throughout the day. Their coffee and croissants are scrumptious. Check out my review about Le Ricochet for more details
- Axe Lounge Bar is one of our favourite restaurants in all of Mont Tremblant. Their food is very filling and their drinks are even better. We ate here every day while staying at the hotel. More details about the restaurant are included in my Axe Lounge Bar review
- All of their restaurants are top notch and really meet the Fairmont standard in terms of service and quality

Rooms:
- Their rooms have a cabin/lodge kind of feel that fits perfectly with the winter ski hill scene
- Their rooms are pristine when it comes to cleanliness and you can rest assured knowing that they followed the Covid-19 guidelines
- They keep their rooms empty for a few days between customers when the same room is booked so that the air has time to circulate out and therefor minimize the chance of Covid contamination
- The bed is extremely comfortable
- The blackout blinds are much appreciated and you get a great night sleep with no light coming into the room

Location:
- The location could not be better! It is a few steps away from The Village and the ski hills so it s a very convenient location if you are staying here while enjoying the hills or just enjoying the area

Pool and other amenities:
- Due to Covid-19 there is a limit to how many people can be in the pools at a time. You book your time slot when you check into the hotel. It makes us feel comfortable as you are guaranteed that the pools won t be too busy and clustered
- The pool/hot tub area is very large and holds a lot of people. They have a heated indoor and outdoor pool. They also have 3 outdoor Whirlpool baths that range from 21 degrees Celsius to 37 degrees Celsius
- You can view the ski hill from the pool so it s a very nice view and very peaceful and relaxing
- They have a Ski rental service inside the hotel so it s amazing to ski in and out of hotel as you please

Other Comments:
- It s always a pleasure staying at this hotel and after coming here for many years it feels like a home away from home

A very disappointing stay. Not worth the money we spent. The pool was very dirty, the staff weren t cooperating, the food is barely mediocre for what you pay and my next door neighbours decided to pick a fight at 10pm after we put our two babies to sleep - that woke us all up and actually scared us. When communicated this all we got is a late checkout and we ll see what we can do next time. There wont be a next time - hospitality should be number 1 focus in an area like Mont Tremblant where people just go for tourism. They get two stars only because the guys from the valet were super nice.

I can truly say, this place is one of the best hotels I ever visited, not because its fancy, but mainly the hospitality and service, view, atmosphere and the area as a whole! We came to celebrate our anniversary and I am glade I choose Fairmont. Food is just perfect, great portion as well (the duck dish, nachos, fried wings, their homemade spaghetti and salad); be aware they have breakfast and dinner (lunch box sometimes) and I can guess this is mainly due to COVID. It is not a cheap hotel but totally worth it. You go in relaxing walking tours around. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in the best location, service was really amazing, very covid safe. We ordered room service twice because the food was so delicious, gorgeous preawntation! I did have a minor billing issue but spoke to the manager of reception and handled it accordingly. I would definitely recommend the Fairmount hotel and spa especially for its friendliness and cleanliness!

The cleanliness and customer service were remarkable. The convenience to the mountain (truly ski in/ski out) and the hot outdoor pools were well worth our stay as well. Food was FANTASTIC. We will definitely plan a return.
