Horrible customer service - none of the #'s or ext...

Horrible customer service - none of the #'s or extensions are ever answered and if they are it says "nobody at this extension, mail box full" really poor - save yourself the trouble and DO NOT JOIN THIS BANK.

If I could give it lower than one star, I would. In the eight months following the hurricane, they close my account due to inactivity. When I reopened they gave me a nonworking temporary atm card (they forgot to activate it). I drove all the way back down and waited 45 minutes to have it reactivated. It took more than two months to get the actual card. It said it could be activated in any ATM. It cannot. Again, more than half an hour to have that activated. To say nothing of their draconian practices for limiting your access to your own insurance reimbursement funds.

You will be hard pressed to find a more difficult bank to deal with than this one. Generally the staff is very helpful and polite but corporate has messed up big time. Firstly, they reduced the amount of branches from five to ONE! As a result the one location is always overfull. Also whenever you try to a the local bank no one answers!! They are probably gonna close down soon anyway.

Trying to call the bank is like a needle in a box of nails, every time I call the bank no one picks up the phone, I m so tired of this poor customer service, I am going to close my account in this bank!
