A very mediocre experience, relative to the price.

The food was neither bad nor good, there was a good selection, good eating times and naive average setting locations. The food was bad, but occasionally one or two things might taste good.

Bar service was also average. Some of the bartender's were great, but others would get mad if we ordered a selection of drinks e.g. "5 gin tonics please", and proceed to tell us that they hated their job and tourists, weird thing to say to customers. The alcohol at the bar was cheap, we had to drink a lot to feel anything. Gin and tonic was good, whiskey was a shameful display...

The room was nice, shower broke by itself on the last day unfortunately. Balcony was nice. Comfortable beds, nice chair. Good for the price we paid.

The hotel itself was also rather nice. There was a beautiful hall we could see when exiting the room with fountains and mosaics, u fortunately you couldn't enter and relax there.

The location was far away enough from the main strip that everything wasnt too loud but still a short walk to everything.

Going here was an experience. Enjoyable yet uncomfortable and dirty at certain times. If you're going to sunny beach you're not looking for a luxury experience anyway.

The hotel next to it had louder music and a better pool XDDD

I recommend this hotel.

I recommend this hotel.

Positives:
- Food is ok (for Bulgaria)
- Staff is kind (especially the handsome barman and receptionists)
- Rooms are clean
- You can exchange cash there
- Atmosphere is really good

Negatives:
- Almost all staff speaks only Bulgarian
- Coffee tastes really bad
- Staff is stalking you when you're eating and they throw your food to trashbin if you leave the table for 5-10 seconds. Or they come and take your plates as soon as you're done and that feels really annoying/rude.

We paid 400 for a week in this hotel (all-in formula) + the flight and transport to the hotel. Everything was okay, even better than expected for this price range. It is close to everything. I would totally recommand this place for group of friends.

Mena Palace is one of the greatest place I've ever visited. It is a nice hotel with a very pleasant personnel, great animators, tasty food and a lot of drinks included in all-inclusive tickets.
There is a secured parking place near the hotel which is not for free, but it is relatively cheap.
I really recommend for anyone this hotel.

I would give 0 stars but there wasn't an option! Firstly the food is atrocious, all sloppy egg dishes! We ate nothing but chips all week, secondly the staff are rude and seemed like they couldnt be bothered to serve you and huff and puff about it and to top off the week, we come to check out at 9 after being told our transfer is 9:30, to be told it was here at 8 and already gone! Staff was rude said not there problem and snatched key away from us, DO NOT STAY HERE. You have been warned.
