Hotel Madurai Residency Reviews

Location is excellent. Walkable distance from junction. Near to Meenakshi Temple. Rooms were not worth for amount charged. If you want to have food I would recommend to have it outside the hotel. Restaurant in this hotel will serve you the order in very delayed manner and cost is too high.

3 Star hotel, located very close to the Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple, just walkable distance, inside of the property atmosphere is good but location of the property looks bad, adjacent property and road are so bad.
Reception staffs were very helpful. Most of the rooms filled with the foreigners. Quality of food and price for the same is okay. Good hotel for short stays.

Heart of the city - Roof top restaurant with full city view fron Seventh floor.

Cozy rooms, clean and fresh smelling bed linen. Overpriced for rooms of this size. Bathrooms are too small. Washrooms are not good and not working properly.Breakfast is not good.

Food Quality is amazing and we had break fast as well as Dinner when we stayed. Taste is really good.

The Madurai Residency is very close to the Madurai bus station and railway station. Very good services, hospitality, parking, accessibility, etc. Good bar and restaurant. It has a roof-top restaurant too. Its a convenient place to stay for the pilgrims who come here to visit Madurai Meenakshi Temple. It is at a walkable distance from here.

Nice hotel and the price is worth the money. Centrally located. Very friendly staff.

Worst servicing in bar...no value for money..no proper side dish as before..but they charge more money..and also very late servicing...

Average stay. Expensive. Needs major major improvements. Washroom pretty old, plumbing not good, fittings r rusty n needs immediate attention. Room very dark n a bit suffocating. Beds were comfy n linen were average. Staff is helpful n polite. Overall at this price range the hotel doesn't offer enough. But it's fine for a night stay. Temple is close by, can walk or take auto. Bus stand n railway station r also close.

Ambience of the hotel including room is good. Amenities are good. People are helpful. Breakfast is good. Only coffee served in the room as well with breakfast was not up to the mark. Hotel is located near to Railway Stn, Meenakshi Temple & Bus Stand. Good place to stay. Satisfied.

Very good hotel, nice staff and nearly 1km from the temple in madurai.

Decent hotel. Nicely located. Lots of nice veg options outside the hotel. Loved the roof top restaurant. Had a great buffet. Had a lil argument over room reservation done with make my trip..but gave 200rs extra and settled the matter. Nice place.

Excellent place of Stay at Madurai.
Courteous staffs, delicious food and well maintained rooms.

Tamilians dress code ,(lungi)eas objected in our own land by floor manager,whereas the other dress like half trouser etc.worn by ladies were allowed. No others are required to spoil the tamil culture than by our own pupil.

A Nice Stay
We have been here for 2nd time. The hotel is on main road. The reception is smiley and courteous. The room are some small but neat and clean having wall mounted TV AND AC. There is a nice lift for going up. Room service is good. Complimentary breakfast was on 6th floor. Breakfast was full of variety and sufficient and was also hygienic. I will recommend to stay.
