Mary greeted us with a welcome drink and gave us a quick tour of this gorgeous hotel overlooking the most amazing views. Dont look any further - you will not find a more beautiful place or more personal service than here. You introduce yourself once and they remember your name always after. We had dinner at their award winning restaurant - Grandmas - the 6 course dinner with wine pairings was the best meal and service I have ever had. Thank you Chef Alex, Colin Ferrils brother, and Chris. It was a magical night with the food , music , view and service. If I could give you 10 stars I would. Thank you. And I cant forget to mention Mike the bartender!!!

Very nice hotel. Exteriors and common areas 5 * with stunning views. Exceptional breakfast and restaurant. Unfortunately the room was not up to par, especially the bathroom (to refresh)
Beautiful place to admire Yalos beach and have a breakfast. Great service by stuff and chill atmosphere. Awesome pool and great coffee.

An exceptional hotel where refinement is the key word! Sublime suites and a gourmet restaurant that shows a fairly exceptional talent. To underline the professionalism and refinement, as well as the extreme kindness of all the staff at Liostasi who take care of your comfort. A thought for Marie at the reception, for Michel and Marie at the bar, and especially for Nicoletta and Stelios at the restaurant, not to mention a friendly manager, Christos.
Staff was amazing, great view, food was insane, from breakfast to lunch to dinner! The suite was nice even though a bit small. Service was great and the hotel was very clean overall.
After two months I can't get out of my mind the dream days in this paradise !! High level hospitality that makes you proud of your place, great atmosphere rooms, perfect breakfast, top Benedict eggs, magical views and no I will never forget the words of Mrs. Danaxa ... I have just departed from the hotel after having stayed in the private pool suite for 3 nights. I absolutely loved my stay. They have thought of everything and the facilities are great. My only request for my future visit (I will be returning) would be for the staff to be faster with getting tea/coffee to me at breakfast. The staff were absolutely fantastic generally and so friendly. The breakfast is beyond amazing. The receptionists are great and helped us sort and ATV to explore the island. I had a facial too which was so very relaxing. Customer service was flawless from the beginning right to the very end. The pool area is lovely, and gorgeous at night. I would highly recommend visiting Ios and staying at Liostasi. Thank you to everyone at Liostasi for making my mini moon perfect. :)

Overall great value for money (outside of peak season - we went at the beginning of May), as location is great, amazing view & top notch facilities. Feels very much like a boutique hotel without the pretentiousness.
The Manager Dimitris and his team are great; will provide a great service including getting a driver to grab some cigarettes late at night! Cocktails were very good, and the food was excellent.
Only negatives were that the communication about the breakfast menu could have been better as there is an awesome menu with eggs and pancakes etc which is separate from the buffet - but everything included in the room rate (best to double check).
And the other thing was lighting in the villa we opted for - bathroom mirrors weren t easy to use. But accommodation and hotel in general very high spec and very cool.
Great, wonderful, clean, noble, lovely as always. But the view is not described as always. Very good work has been done. I have been sitting for a coffee for a year and compensating me .. bravo !!!
Sometimes I wish there was a 5 stars+ This hotel is an extreme form of elegance, sophistication and enough drama that only the views overlooking the bay can actually compete with. Every detail is meant and gorgeously excited. The colors, the furnishing, the lights, the materials all creates a piece of art that you rarely see not only in Greece but I am talking worldwide. Now please bear in mind that all of the above comes with a courteous fabulous top notch service and staff. Either you are staying at the hotel or not you will be treated with a smile, generosity and holdddd your horses the Best cocktails on the Island. We haven't tried yet the Grandma's creative restaurant(their signature culinary establishment) somehow we are soo sure it is going to be nothing less than a mouth magic journey.
Really great stay at the Liostasi Hotel Spa. The Junior suite was amazing with a great view over the port for sunset. Took some getting used to the lights system...as well the drainage cut down the middle of the bathroom was strange / unique (could see dirt build up under the right light). The staff was really friendly and the vibe of the whole place fantastic!
We had the most incredible stay at Liostasi. The staff were amazing, couldn t do enough for us. The views and the facilities were fabulous, the restaurant was great and the spa treatments were some of the best we ve had. The service was impeccable and the vibe around the pool day and night was spot on. Such good value for money and by far our favourite hotel on our trip around the Greek islands.
A magical place, an extra decoration, the bungalows are new, in the shade of the olive trees. The views are clear. Great location between the port and the center
Don t stay any where else but here! The view as you walk in is incredible overlooking the water and the mountains in the background. The staff are friendly and so accommodating. The brunch is probably THE BEST orange juice and omelette over ever had. The hotel room view is just as gorgeous. There is a small gym if you d like to use it.
My friend was staying here, I walked down to visit him and even as a non-guest they immediately invited me in to sit by the pool and brought complimentary water and put up and umbrella for us whilst we waited. Service was simply amazing. Super professional, very friendly. Later that week we had a dinner here, i ordered the Cuttlefish Risotto cooked in it's own ink, it was unbelievably good. If your after luxury, amazing food, good views, all rolled up into one package, this is a brilliant choice.
Excellent interior design. Great Spa area. Upscale food. Open air Cinema area!!! Liostasi has grown better and bigger! Pricy but it will be money well spend!
Absolutely sensational. The facilities of this hotel are amazing even for people who don't live there, but come as visitors. He had breakfast a few days ago and the service was astonishing. There was a wide variety of breakfast food that I personally enjoyed. Looking forward to my next visit...
This review is for the pool bar only as we unfortunately did not stay at the hotel. There were only a couple of cocktails on the menu but they were well designed with surprisingly good flavour.
Look no further, if you want a hotel to remember, to photograph, to enjoy and give you an ultimate holiday experience then Loristai is for you.
My friend and I (both early 30 s) booked a 10 day holiday over 3 Greek islands (mid-late June 2018), we sadly only stayed on Ios for 1 night, but we really managed to pack our 24hrs in with fabulous things, and this fantastic hotel was such an amazing part of it.
From the moment you arrive (from the complimentary transfer) you are treated with absolute 5* + service.
The view from the pool and sunken seating area is just incredible, and the perfect sunset spot. The pool bar cocktails are just INCREDIBLE, I had a popcorn frappe, which was like a take on an espresso martini 10/10.
The breakfast is something else, you get an ala carte section to chose from which they make to order, and the most lovely buffet spread too, filled with amazing homemade delights. The breakfast here was not only the best we had in our time in Greece but in the top 3 I ve had ever.
The staff are just incredible, all of them, no exceptions. Noting was too much trouble, even for us who were only staying for one night. They helped us arrange to hire a boat for the afternoon, which was awesome. Highly recommend.
The location is just perfect, you can walk up to the main village in 5 minutes or down to the port in 8, there are also really regular local busses that stop outside the hotel too, if like me you don t fancy the walk back up the hill in midday heat!
We didn t eat in Grandma s the restaurant they have there, but if we d have stayed longer we would have. The menu looks amazing, but it s certainly to be reserved for a special occasion. We ate at a restaurant in the village called Katogi which I can t recommend enough, it was our favourite meal the whole holiday.

Absolutely loved this property and would recommend to friends and family traveling to Ios. It was chic, luxury, perfection. 100% would book again and the pictures do not do the place justice - it's the best.
If you are looking for an amazing pool, this is the place for you! I have been here in May with my boyfriend and we stayed in the suite with a pool which had a glass through you can see what s inside. The room and the bathroom were big and with a futuristic style. The breakfast was only with quality food and the staff so kind. Can t wait to be back.
Simply the best option on Ios for a luxurious stay! Amazing sunset views, superb spa and pool, great food, excellent cocktails, loved the decor and atmosphere, and our suite (Liostasi Junior Suite)! Staff were also very attentive and within walking distance of Chora which is fun!

Liostasi is definitely one of my favourite places on Ios !!! The style is chic and modern, the view is phenomenal, the staff are wonderful, the rooms are beautiful, the food is divine.....highly recommended!!!

Definitely the best hotel on the island. Pool is great and the view, especially the sunset is amazing! The staff are all super lovely and friendly! Not giving five stars as we had a room close to the road and it was really noisy, need to sleep with all windows closed and still there is some noise! Also had a gourmet dinner with a Michelin Star chef and it was lovely!
If you come to Ios stay no where else but at Leostasi!!! My wife and I rearranged our whole itinerary during our Honeymoon just to make it to this hotel during it's last 3 days of operation before it closed for the season. From the time we were picked up at the port the experience has been amazing! The hotel is one of the most beautifully designed properties we have ever been too. A lot of thought went into all of the tiny details. From the hotel pool and bar with an amazing view of the sunset perched high above the port, to Grandma's restaurant. Delicious food! We stayed in the suite with the private pool and loved every second of it. Definitely worth the money. You will also love the bathtub which is made to overflow onto the floor. :) This hotel is a family run business and if you are lucky, you will get a chance to meet Mrs. Despina Denaxa. My wife and I took a cooking class from her to learn how to prepare some traditional Greek foods and it was such a pleasure. Through our translated conversation, we learned that Mrs. Despina has owned the hotel for 20+ years and has been slowly upgrading it every year. She is hip, cool, and has great taste. You will easily be able to agree once you stay at this property. We travel the world extensively and stay at some of the best hotels. This property will forever be in our memories :) If you come to Ios stay no where else but at Leostasi!!! Sensational resort with the goods - I was comfortably welcomed by the staff, including Hotel manager Demetrius - a well documented tour of the hotel with a nice cold drink to begin the festivities. The room had a perfect view of the sunset and port. The shuttle bus and accompanisation of my bags was spot on, no delays there. The resort has a good vibe to it. Bus stop is right outside the hotel which adds to a transportation to both ends of the island. Where else would you rather be? bathrooms are a tad small, but let s be honest, we ain t letting that ruin the vibe!
Came in as a guest to enjoy a meal and cocktails from the menu while taking in the view. The manager at the pool bar was very rude and extremely unwelcoming he immediately came over to where we were seated to list off everything we could not do before even greeting us or offered a food & beverage menu. It was quite embarassing how he was speaking to us in front of the other guests so much so that we left. Will never come to this establishment again, you're best not to as well.
Stayed here for 10 days in May 2019. Fab hotel: first class service, great bar and pool area, excellent breakfasts, inspiring location above the port, away from the noise and clubs of the main town but within walking distance of both. Not cheap. but excellent value for money. Great base for exploring the island. Would certainly return.
One great week with my friends in one of the "maisonnette" of the hotel. The view from the patio is amazing of the maisonnette is amazing. Definitly the best accommodation for me on Ios, if you like beautifull place. 5min from Chora center.
