Delicious eaten! Cozy atmosphere in the restaurant, service is only a bit slow hence 3 stars.

Annual fair on the Groeneplaats for the sheep inspection on the first Monday in September. Buyers from all over the world come to watch the inspection.

Location was good, my room had a good view, which is definitely a plus for me. The beds were comfortable. The room also looked neat. The service could not be faulted. They did a great job.

We found the room very small. The beds slept wonderfully, but they were 2 beds pushed together. Not very romantic when one of the two is in a slot.
Furthermore, it was very clean and a good extensive breakfast. The staff was very friendly!

My compliments

2x saffron risotto and 2x entrecote. The risotto was not well prepared, had little taste (as if it had been boiled in water) and half was cold. The service was very good and I could honestly tell the staff my opinion. The prime rib on the other hand was very tasty.

Looking for a hotel on the picturesque island of Texel? This is the place to stay. We were their guests now 5 times and not one day (or Euro) to regret. The staff is always friendly and offers a helping hand, large breakfast buffet, always fresh food, also the kitchen and waiter staff is always friendly and literally goes the extra mile for you, the meal portions are very good, the rooms are cozy and very clean, also very good beds, good A/C unit, they make us come back again and again and again... We really don't understand why they only have 3 hotel stars? Would recommend it anytime. The parking spots are indeed limited, but they are working on an expansion as we speak. Saw it yesterday. And besides, Den Burg is small and you reach free parking spots with a 5 minute walk. When planning your stay early enough, you can also reserve a parking spot directly at the hotel.

The feeling of coming home and being pampered every time. Great food and very comfortable rooms. Top hotel!

Beautifully renovated hotel in the center of Den Burgh. Everything nearby in terms of shops and restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel itself is also recommended. Surprising menu with local products.
Hotel room with sauna was luxurious, spacious, clean and silent. Nice are the private roof terraces that you have in the rooms so that you can also sit outside. The disadvantage of the hotel is the lack of a lift up to the floor of the room. As a result, we had to go up / down two flights of stairs with the pram (this was clearly indicated when booking, by the way) and that the parking space could not be reserved via booking but was completely full upon arrival. However staff were very friendly and helpful. Have been pointed out several parking spaces and the baby was taken into account. A nice cuddly toy was waiting for her upon arrival. Another plus was the delicious coffee in the room, the smart TV with Netflix, RTLXL etc and the Rituals stuff.

This hotel is definitely recommended! Three stars are far undervalued for this accommodation, as the hotel scores high on all fronts. We have already spent our holiday here a number of times, so we have a quick look at what makes us return:

All employees are without exception friendly and service-oriented. It is noticeable that skilled workers are working with heart for the cause. The rooms are clean, fresh, well painted. The bedding is as it should be: clean, fresh and tightly ironed. And after a good night's sleep, the breakfast buffet offers everything a person needs to wake up to. Everything is sufficiently available, except for items such as fruit, meat and cheese. There are smaller portions of this on the buffet and there is always an employee topping up. Hygienic and nothing can grow old or dry out.


We dare to recommend this hotel to everyone, and definitely give a higher rating than 3 stars!

Spacious ultra-modern rooms, twin double shower, 6 convenient AC outlets, free WiFi, free amazing breakfast, excellent restaurant offers two vegetarian options. Power goes off when you leave your room so you canot leave devices to be charged while you are gone.

Especially for "the Lindeboom tour" to the Lindeboom. Because I don't loop a cheese, I asked if I could get a croquette. This was not possible because this would be annoying for the chef. Said a lady from the ministry without consulting the chef. I could order a separate croquette. A shame of course because the cheese sandwich would end up in the trash bin. Too bad that this is not possible because the times before it was no problem. Disappointing that the service staff did not think along with the guest.

The food was delicious but the service sucked. We had to wait over 10 minutes for them to offer us a drink, then another group came in after us who had passed and received their drink and order first while still waiting to place our order. Finally walked over. They were mainly talking to each other and waiting to see what someone else would do. Then we want to pay, we have to wait for a colleague to do that and she is not there 10 minutes later. In the meantime 1 table had been cleared and the other not yet. Then someone comes to clear the other table, asks again for the bill and suddenly the lady who has been standing there all the time can come. When you leave you get an unfriendly bye .. Too bad because your food was delicious.

The only annoying thing was the bright green light that lit up the entire room, looked like a child's light, could not be turned off and we are not used to light when sleeping.

After 10 days of overwhelming hospitality in Vienna, a day on Texel to pick up the dog. Perched on the terrace of the renowned hotel De Lindeboom, the disappointment awaited us. Twenty minutes of waiting and gestures before a lady came to our table. I still spoke. I only have two hands was the answer. After 10 minutes the drinks arrived and after another half an hour the lunch. It was good. But this experience makes a return to the Lindeboom unlikely.

Very courteous, friendly service, good and tasty food at fair prices. Everything we ordered was always brought with everything from tea with extra brown sugar and hot milk (both on request) to excellent food. We had a great evening on the terrace and can recommend the restaurant to others.

We were in the disabled room. Beautiful room. Everything clean and new. The staff is terribly nice and the food is very good. We had a fantastic weekend.
