This place is nice. I mean NICE. With how expensive it is you'd be surprised how many extras and add ons there is. There's a fully stocked, and extremely expensive, mini bar in the room. I recommend taking a cab here if you can, because parking is about $40 a day. There's an attached restaurant where you can have a very nice $50 breakfast. Wifi is also an additional charge.

Nice rooms, you definitely get what you pay for as far as the room goes. My only complaint is we arrived at 3pm and our room was not ready, so we had to wait in the lobby for half an hour.

We went to Constantine for drinks. Great drinks once you finally get them. Slow service, but worth the wait. The seating isn't great for a large group unless you are in the reserved back room. The tables are too big, making it impossible to have a conversation over them. GREAT playlist!

Very comfortable room, great staff. The only reason I'm giving four stars is the bar downstairs was very understaffed and we ended up waiting a long time for a server and our drinks never came. We ended up going to the lobby bar and getting some very good drinks.

Nice spacious and clean hotel, definitely 5 star....located downtown Minneapolis restaurants are located in the hotel upscale venues. Local entertainment is within walking distant of the hotel, can't see myself staying anywhere else!

AMAZING stay at hotel ivy! Husband and I stayed there because we had won a free stay and it was wonderful. Their speakeasy is soooo cool and just the setting is superb. I recommend any out of towners to stay here if they can afford it.

The location is fantastic and there are some good in-house dining options, but I was pretty disappointed with the level of service at Hotel Ivy. I travel a bit for work, have Marriott Gold status, and have stayed at other Luxury Collection Hotels. I m not sure Hotel Ivy can live up the brand or other similarly priced hotels in the area. The new gym is spacious and well equipped, but continued construction in the area makes it hard to find and use without getting construction dust over everything. Since I was coming from another trip I had some laundry to do. Everything says that their laundry service is same day, but they had no expectation of same day service when I called in the evening after expecting my laundry to be returned. In fact, they didn t even bring it the next day until I sat by the phone calling to figure out where my cloths were. Another hotel would have at least ate the comped the cost of the laundry for almost losing it. The room itself was nice but not so special that I wouldn t find a similar space across the street at the Hilton. Next time I m in Minneapolis I ll try another hotel.

The Ivy lived up to its claims of luxury. The grand/deluxe king room had high ceilings and doorways, was on the 17th floor, and a spacious, modern bathroom. The bed was comfortable and I didn't notice any noise from neighbors or the hallway. Room service was delicious and fairly quick. Massages from the hotel spa (second floor) were fantastic. It's an easy walk to lots of bars, restaurants, and entertainment (but not connected to the skyway system). It's certainly not cheap, but it's a nice, relaxing indulgence.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The hotel is impeccably clean and well maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. The beds are super comfy and the shower was great. It is a little out of the way for nightlife downtown, but everything else more than makes up for it. This place is absolutely top notch.

The only negative thing I can say is that I wish wifi was included in the price of our stay instead of the additional $10+ per day. Other than that, our stay was so great! We had a special treat brought to our room when we checked in to help us celebrate, and the entire staff from the front desk to the valet were extremely accommodating and informative. The valet service is convenient and a nice addition to our stay. The room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable, and clean. And the location is great - the view from our room was nice and we were within walking distance or a short drive from everywhere we wanted to go this weekend. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back. :)

Just spent our 1 year wedding anniversary here, the staff was so amazing and accommodating, we got a free room upgrade, and a complimentary bottle of champagne! Truly made our stay amazing. Would recommend to everyone! The bar Constantine in the basement is amazing as well, awesome drinks, cool atmosphere!

Didn t stay here, but asked for an amenity late at night. The front desk was so gracious and warm and was able to accommodate me. I was astounded that they would treat someone so well that wasn t even staying at the hotel. I ll definitely try my best to stay here next time I m in town.

I truly needed a staycation with this nasty Minnesota weather. My weekend at the Ivy felt like I was out of state. Galie and her staff tredated me like a VIP! Catered to my every need. My room was always crisp and clean when I returned! I'm looking forward to return for my wedding night!

Came here in search of a good Old Fashioned. We had a recommendation to go to the basement bar. However, we stopped at the main level bar. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. However, was a bit disappointed in the Old Fashioned. We'll try the basement bar at a later time.

If possible, I would rate lower. I had the worst experience ever here. Not only did they lose my luggage, but I was waiting in the lobby for them to find it and two men walked in one with a box cutter and I was between them. The man beind the front desk called the cops but did nothing for me as I stood between the two men who were yelling at each other with the knife out. Eventually they left but I was already traumatized. This happened after my luggage had been lost somehow and most likely stolen by housekeeping.
The man at the front desk, Ben, accused me of being "too drunk" to find my luggage in my room when it clearly was not there. (36 hours later it still has not been found).
This has easily been the most terrifying and horrible experience and no one has been even slightly helpful.
So now I'm out a bunch of money for having paid for the room (no refund after all of this, yet--I've been told my refund for the room will take at least 3-5 days) and out of my possessions. This is the worst hotel ever.

So last night we stayed at the Ivy Hotel downtown Minneapolis. We did a dinner for nine at Monello for my wife's birthday. It was a new experience for everybody and the staff was excellent! They helped us with their ordering explained everything wonderfully, and we got a chance to sit back relax and let course by course come out as we socialize and hung out with her friends. They went over and beyond making sure that we had everything we need and couldn't been happier with how our dinner turned out because it could go either way with that many people. Craig the GM kept coming order table maybe Sherri things right and again the food was just out of this world!! Can't wait to come back again and can't wait to send all my friends here for any special event that they may have

This week I had the highly unique experience of staying at three hotels in the same downtown area: The W, The Grand Hotel, and Hotel Ivy. This means that rather than guessing which of the three might be the best based on disjointed reviews from random people who only stayed at one of them, you can simply read my review and know with absolute certainty that Hotel Ivy is the best by far. Hotel Ivy is from another galaxy in terms of service, aesthetics, atmosphere, construction, cleanliness, friendliness and professionalism of staff, you name it. Do you like baths? The bathtub is much larger here than at The Grand Hotel. The W didn't even have a tub. I could go on and on about the differences. A lot of thought went into every detail of this place, and it's a borderline atrocity that subpar competitors like The W and The Grand Hotel are permitted to have similar star rankings to Hotel Ivy which confuse visitors into thinking they are equally worth going to. I believe this nonsensical star rank equivalence is partially due to insidious manipulation of the reviews being carried out by these competitors. For instance, I found extremely strong evidence of The Grand Hotel coercing potential employees into leaving fake 5 star ratings. You can't call it a real review when there is such an obvious conflict of interest. Is this even allowed? Is it even LEGAL? It should be severely penalized by Google. As you can see from my included screenshot, The Grand Hotel apparently pressures potential employees into leaving 5 star reviews in hopes that it will help them get the job. If Hotel Ivy's competitors such as The Grand Hotel are willing to do this, then why would they stop there? I think it's fair to assume they game the system however they can and have probably left a few fake negative reviews for Hotel Ivy too. I would suggest that Hotel Ivy expose these practices by sending spies to competitors to pretend to apply for a job and then get video evidence of the recruiter's slimy attempt to pressure them to leave a 5 star review. Present the evidence to Google so they can drop these competitors' star rankings down to 3 or so where they belong. I would be happy to ask my contacts at Google to assist with this. If Hotel Ivy would like to speak with me about pursuing this then I'd be happy to help, they have my phone and email on record and know how to reach me.

I have stayed at five different hotels in Downtown Minneapolis, and the Hotel Ivy is by far my favorite. The Hotel Ivy exceeded all of my expectations for luxury. You may have to pay a little more to stay here, but it's completely worth it. The staff is hospitable and professional. The rooms are designed very well, and the Hotel Ivy is one of two hotels in Downtown Minneapolis with a soaking tub in each room. This hotel is amazing, and I will never stay anywhere else in Downtown Minneapolis!

We stopped at Constantine to get drinks on the way back to our hotel. What a great little bar! Yummy cocktails, super chic and the atmosphere is fun! The bartenders definitely know how to make a good cocktail.

This revue is for Constantine only. The old fashioned is excellent, maybe the best. However, it is also fifteen dollars. Can't speak to the food, although it looked average. Only real problem was the seating; we went on a Friday for happy hour and were told we couldn't reserve booths. After waiting patiently at the bar for two hours we finally saw an opening only to be told by a waiter that the booth was spoken for. After some polite argument I let it go and went back to waiting. Shortly thereafter another booth opened and again I was told that it was spoken for, but this time I was unwilling to yield. The waiter gave up and we got the booth, but we were still left with a bad taste in our mouths. Make your seating policies clear Constantine, jeez.
