Hotel Houten Review

Delicious cozy dinner. Quality is excellent. Staff very friendly and all this for a reasonable price.

Had a good workshop. All equipment, materials, drinks and snacks were present and well cared for. Great location.

Nice rooms and atmosphere, delicious food. Van de Valk in Houten, I continue to find the best.

A la carte eaten from the menu, dishes were beautifully laid out, tasteful and cared for. Staff was less attentive, hence the point deduction.

Van der Valk is good almost everywhere. Also here. Enjoyed evening meal, and as you are used to at Vd Valk always good.

Been here once for a meeting. But with one of the notebooks there were notes from someone else. Too bad that this has not been checked.

Both people who come here for the first time, and people who visit a Van der Valk almost every week. will agree that Hotel Houten is one with style. Beautiful decor. The food in the restaurant is excellent and is nicely laid out served by friendly staff.

Been to the brunch, I thought it was way too busy. Buffet was well cared for but nothing special. Staff very friendly.

Normally great location for a business appointment. But now that the restaurant is being renovated, it is very busy in the lounge and bar.

Nice hotel, spacious and uncluttered. Noisy due to open construction of the different floors.

Fast and nice service, good food and kind personnel

Had dinner tonight at van der Valk Houten, although the hotel / restaurant has been in Houten for a few years now, I had never been there. Recommended by many to eat here because it would not be a typical van der Valk.
When I entered I was very impressed, when you enter you do not feel like you are with van der Valk. Very stylish interior, selected with care. Clearly chosen with great care! However, because the restaurant is very high and large, it does not come into its own very cozy.
However, the positive first impression was quickly lost, the menu contains traditional dishes in an expensive jacket. Hardly any main course under 20 euros! Even the classic van der falcon dish (schnitzel!) Has to cost almost 18 euros. Apparently the interior has to be paid for.

This was once but never again, there are better restaurants in and around Utrecht.

Everything is great here. Eat, sleep, view. Even the elevator was fun for my daughter.

The honeymoon suite is a beautiful spacious room with a whirlpool in the bathroom.

We were here for the Sunday brunch. The food was delicious. Live cooking and lots of sandwiches and fruits.
It's just so huge, no walls in between, no different buffet places. So it gives the feeling of being a huge food shed. It is also a shame that there is no place where children can play or color.

Appears as a luxury place to arrange business meetings.

Amazing service, lovely, clean rooms and brilliant food I would love to come here again.

Beautiful hotel, can't say otherwise. Nicely decorated, pleasant and welcoming reception, beautiful modern, spacious room with a large double bed that sleeps wonderfully. Large bathroom with a double whirlpool and a spacious rain shower. Large flat screen, nespresso, bottled water, safe, (empty) fridge, even an ironing board in the cupboard. The breakfast is very extensive and of high quality. And all for a very reasonable price, very good price / quality ratio.

Work-related experience with van der Valk hotel in Houten. Great meeting rooms. Catering is sublime. Very extensive lunch. Cozy ambiance. Nice meeting experiences with lunch.

I like to book a room here regularly. I also had all room types by now and they were all excellent. The rooms are beautifully and spaciously furnished. The location of the hotel is good with a nice view.
Also the food, from breakfast to hot meals are fine here. The staff are friendly and are helpful. If you want to book, pay special attention to deals and packages, this can save you some money and you will have a good time.

Upscale hotel at the entrance of Amsterdam (35min by car). The bathtub was a bit dirty but the rest was fine, up to the service offered.

Recently been here for the National Takeover Day of Brookz. Nice entourage, friendly staff.

Matig restaurant. Aardig personeel alleen niet zo lekker eten. Erg duur en niet alles was even schoon.
