Hotel Houten Review

So far I think this is the most luxurious and most beautiful of the Valk hotel. Delicious eaten and slept for a reasonable price.

Standard boring coffee house, apparently wanted. I was invited.

Good hotel and also an excellent location for meetings. In addition, the food is of good quality.

Nice city / village .. Super hotel, great employees

Booked a beautiful deluxe room, but what I miss are a cocktail card and a machine with soft drinks and snacks, at many other van der Valk hotels this is available. Furthermore, completely top.
In terms of Corona measures, it couldn't be better. Everything well indicated and explained, disinfectant available everywhere.
The cleaning of the bathroom could be a bit better, I understand that there is little time per room, but fingerprints on the flushing of the toilet and on the doors, old soap scum and dried water drops on the shower wall and fingerprints on the inside of the room door that really not possible, I personally think.
I also found that our room had not been cleaned in the afternoon on the 2nd day, when this was eventually done, I caught 3 cleaners in the room next to us, where they were probably chatting during working hours.

Was unfortunately very busy. Not much room for a consultation. Too little time for lunch in the end. Operation could not guarantee a quick bite

Prima hotel, mooie honneymoonsuite. 15e verdieping met goed uitzicht. Zeker een aanrader.

Beautiful Van der Valk. Extensive menu and very tasty dishes.

Conference room and parking all well arranged, but the plus points are scored at the current buffet! So much choice and everything not only looks great but it is!

Delicious enjoyed with my wife. The food in the restaurant is also super. The suite was fantastic with a good view from the balcony.

We had to wait a long time for our order, and even then what we ordered was not served completely. Also the promise that what we had not received was never delivered. The fried egg on the bouncer was cold. Also no apologies at checkout. The location is attractive, but service and service is far below par.

we like to go to Van der Valk for live cooking, dinner ala carte or for Christmas

Very good food, clean and large rooms, the conference rooms are also highly recommended.

A wonderful, luxurious hotel.
We had the honeymoon suite.
A very spacious room, fully equipped. A large balcony with a view of the city.
The minibar was stocked and included in the price. That was a plus.
There were so many lamps in the suite that it was a real quest for us to discover which button belonged to which lamp.
Dinner was delicious, staff friendly.
Breakfast was well organized according to corona rules, with a mandatory walking route. Staff pointed out if this did not happen.
We will definitely come back!

Great restaurant, just a pity that there were many large groups that evening. Then the staff have trouble keeping up.

Beautiful hotel with delicious breakfast buffet! The possibility to connect your laptop to the TV is also an added value, more van der valk hotels should offer that.

I have bad experiences. We were 11 people, and everyone who had coffee had tepid coffee. And coffee must be hot. That was van der Valk in Houten.

Conveniently located near highway A27 and a shortcut route directly leading to the centre of Utrecht. Restaurant is quite big and the room is open. Doesn't feel very comfy. Meals are served quickly, dishes are fine, sidedish is okay. The hotel is a high-rise. Rooms are located from 3rd to 17th floor, where the more luxurious rooms are at the top. The rooms are modern and very spacious.

The all you can eat restaurant is very nice and has a lot of choice.

Friendly and good service. Employees who enjoy their work and are in for a chat. The food is fine, reasonably good wines, nice spacious rooms and good beds. We would love to come back.

Inrichting lijkt wel een rouwcentrum, design badkamer zeer onpraktisch en luchtverversing niet aanwezig bij ramen die niet open kunnen

We had a luxury room. Wonderful beds. Completely fine further but some downsides were that shower was not completely clean and minibar did not work and therefore not filled. A pity. Very friendly staff and very good service. Breakfast excellent as well as the dinner.

Checking in was very smooth. Two free drinks. The restaurant was fast. Food was tasty and affordable. Helpful employee.
The room was beautiful, large and clean. Lovely large double bed. Bathroom was top with whirlpool. Definitely an address to come back to. Nothing but praise.

We were there for a quick lunch which was good. And service was correct and fast. You have to have a car to reach there, not ideal with public transport.

Live coming ... food was okay. But what a room many people 500 people and what a noise. You can't eat calmly. But the choice is extensive.

Top hotel. Friendly, very good food, but a little much sometimes.
