Beautiful hotel in prime location, just a few step...

Beautiful hotel in prime location, just a few steps to the beach. The hotel chain has adopted a 'scent' smells divine! You can purchase it from the hotel. The decor is simply stunning with huge chandlers, high back chairs and comfy sofas. The foyer also has fresh fruit infused water everyday. The breakfast has a reasonable selection of pastries, (run out if you get there too late!) fruit, nut, cereals, meats and cheese. Waiting staff happy to take requests for eggs, hot chocolate and anything else not in view. Staff overall were very helpful and cheerful. Great stay here!

I was very dissapointed that i was stolen my Gucci...

I was very dissapointed that i was stolen my Gucci shopping that was on the table the day i checked out i couldnt find it , staff is not help full ive been following up with fady and i asked for official email that the bag was not shown in the camera and ive been ignored very dissapointed the rooms are vry expensive i thought ill be fully secured !!

This is our first visit to Cannes and the JW cant ...

This is our first visit to Cannes and the JW cant have better location but I want to start this review thanking the incredible and beautiful women at the front desk and the General Manager Ziad Atrissi for a major Birthday upgrade to the Ocean Front King Size suite and for setting up a delicious cheese cake and a Birthday card in the suite.
We slept every night with the window open listening to the ocean.
The breakfast buffet has many delicious options as well as a la carte options. The staff at breakfast it is very attentive, accommodating and also very busy as the hotel caters a lot of guests.
The beach club right across the street with the name staring with Palais is great and gives a special rate to the hotel guests although not at the bed on the piers. We spent our entire last day on 2 bed at the pier and it was a great way to close our 5 nights at the JW. We will definitely recommend this hotel and will look forward to a return anytime soon. Thank you again JW!!!!

Very nice rooms, great breakfast.
Only minus for the conference-service - we were 10 people wanting coffe delivered to our conference room. And was charge 200 euros...a bit pricy!

The service here is pretty amazing. The staff are friendly and very prompt to assist or help. The staff were surprisingly fluent in English.

The breakfast is good. The rooftop pool and view are nice. There is beach access if you pay. The room is nice, with all the necesities (razor, toothbrush, etc). My only complaint is the lack of usb plugs by the bedside, which has become a nice convenience I look for to charge my phone at night in hotels.

This hotel has a magnificent lobby no other hotel can compare and everything is designed and executed at high standard. Only one thing lets me down is the Wi-Fi and air-con in the room. The Wi-Fi doesn't deserve its five star service like other facilities in the hotel and the air-con is not working properly in the room.

I have experience to stay Marriott hotels since 19...

I have experience to stay Marriott hotels since 1997 in NY Marriott.
I have gold elite status.
Here is worst Marriott in the world if comparison my experience in USA, JP, Shanghai, Honkong, Paris, Singapore and so on.
I check in before by Marriott application, but not ready my room. when I arrive it was hard to understand what reception explain to me. Because too too fast talk with French pronounced English. No escotes to room, miss understand my room no, not ready even though compliment water.
Safety box broken two times. Do not make effort about to study root cause.
Restaurant reception refused me to take dinner at outside table tonight. reason was full booked she said. even though there were more than 30% table are no customer. then she give table some other French customer from outside street looks no reservations later.
Is she racist? because I'm Japanese.
I take table inside, wait more than 10min, because all the stuff concentrate outside.
I oder only one steak and beer. it was hard to explain waitress about medium well done !
later waitress come again, force to order more, like salad?, potato?, rice? and so on. I refused two times, but waitress forced three times.
then I become angry, left my stay hotel restaurant .
Do you want to stay like this hotel??
too hard to communicate with this hotel staff!!!

just back to my room, Safty box broken again. this is third times. This hotel not take care about customer's valuables. So this hotel never fix or never change to new one.

After 3times complain hotel changed another used safety box finally. it looks work better but I can't trust, I use my RIMOA as safety box. because I don't want to call mechanic staff.

Spacious rooms.
Staff is helpful.
Hot water works great.
For the price point and location it's okay.
I don't find the rooms very modern, the bathrooms in my room are something out of the 50s, the room kitchen is old, the lighting is poor, but the room has lots of windows and sliding doors for the balconies.

For the price you pay, the hotel is a joke. The lobby looks nice, but already the floors have signs of wear and are not properly cleaned. In the room the supposedly fresh linens had stains and signs of blood - some furniture also should be replaced. At night you can hear the closeby beach party almost as if you are taking part in it (I double checked to see that the balcony door is properly closed) - I have had much better sound insulation in a 2 star hotel. Small gym lacking many amenities (even basic things like different weights or a workout bench) and at the only multi-function-machine the seat is almost falling off. The pool at the rooftop is without atmosphere in the middle of the roof and without a view once inside (though the general view from the rooftop is nice). Even if this hotel is in expensive Cannes, for the price you pay the hotel really is a (bad) joke.

The worst hotel experience ever had in Europe . As a traveler, showering is the best way to get rid off tiredness for me. The water pressure here is extremely week. Moreover, it s a old hotel and deco is also outdated. The Added bed is like prison bed. Definitely not worth the the price. My disappointment is beyond words.
