Hotel Europe Playa Marina Review

Just spent a week at the Playa Marina. Absolutely loved it. The food was fabulous, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the location was just perfect. The pool area never really got over busy and it was a nice and relaxed atmosphere. My only negative comments would be the annoying music played around the pool area all day. The complimentary toiletries which were in sachets of shampoo and shower gel. The fitness suite is extremely small.

However, poor cleaning and they do not clean properly but only make clean and change the towels but do not take the floor and dirty glasses and plates are left. Great service at the front desk but disaster service in the pool restaurant. Not at all accommodating And friendly even though they had completely died in the afternoon. Wanted to sit in one of the lounge sofas and eat but was not allowed to do so and then there were 3 staff and a total of 6 guests on the entire restaurant area.- bad!
Otherwise good breakfast but minus for the juice which is only concentrated mixed with water.
Only 2 devices on wi-fi. Nowadays, all hotels should have free wi-fi everywhere.
Otherwise best location view and sun in terms of sun but you had to go up very todogt to have a chance on sunbeds.

Nice food and own beach. Internet really slow, have to buy own Sim card. TV not rotating. Reception has no tabletop games. Half times bottom floor barmen not smiling and seem pissed off

Nice and quiet hotel for couples and elder people. The swimming pool is small and there is no beach. Rooms are mainly double rooms. All the reasons why I chose this hotel from the beginning, I am on vacation and don't want any louid children in my vicinity.
Food in the restaurant is very delicious but the cooked alternatives of the breakfast is not near good by far.
Situated on the seaside, local centre in proximity and close to local bus stops I would say this is a good option of you are not equipped with a car..

Hotel did an outstanding job all things considers. As a whole the Hotel is very clean, and the clothes dryer rack on the balcony was excellent for being able to hand wash and dry lots of delicates and swimsuits. Hotel is close to the 2 most major bus routes in Mallorca. Mallorca being a party island and being able to escape that scene at the end of the night was made easy by the buses routes available to this hotel.

Peter!!! was also an amazing manager, he not only assisted us in resolving a dispute we had with a less than professional Rental company but he was handling any issues I also noticed and addressed by others in the hotel. No hotel can be perfect all the time but when you get staff who generally care about their guests it can make your stay that much more secure and pleasant.

If I had any constructive feedback it would be to get the concrete when you go down to the Sea Front either resurfaced or paved with a softer but not slick low maintenance stone. Would be wonderful on the feet.

Quiet area. Super good hotel in a perfect location. Directly to the water. Good breakfast and dinner. I would love to return.

Superb, hotel overlooking the sea above a cliff. Very romantic!

The location is exceptional, the access to the sea is direct, either by ladders or by steps, perfect. What is just a shame is that the best sunbeds are booked early in the morning by people hanging up their towels with clothespins to come back to them later, in my opinion that is not very fair.
The breakfast is of good quality and there is a choice. Overall we liked this stay the only downside is the cleanliness of the rooms which could have been a little better for a hotel at this price (stains on the mirror and the glass of the shower, hairs on the toilet ..)

Liars! Advertise a private beach of the hotel when article 132.2 of the Spanish Constitution expressly states that the first sea line is PUBLIC. NOT PRIVATE !!!!!!!

Very charming! Beautiful landscaping, great location, nice family vibe, friendly staff and the hot tub is definitely worth checking out.

The beds are VERY firm, WiFi is pretty spotty, and the light rail will definitely keep you up if you don't use the ear plugs they so kindly provide. Regardless, I would definitely still stay here again!

Very nice hotel in every way. If you want a beautiful view, calm and with a pleasant atmosphere then you should stay here. There is the most necessary nearby in terms of business. Small and nice restaurants around the immediate area. An adult hotel. Nice rooms, always daily cleaning.

We had a pleasant stay in this hotel, room was very clean and service was great. However, special thanks to Peter who went out of his way to help us with the conflict with local rental boat company called Martiners boat. If you re reading this review and thinking of renting a boat in Mallorca, please make sure your tour agent it s not working with the boat company called Martiners boat. They are dishonest and unprofessional. Please be cautious!!!

Not the first and I think not the last time in this hotel. Excellent and very atmospheric place.

This is a good hotel. staff generally helpful, rooms nice and clean with efficient friendly daily cleaning. Air con isn t very good so room got quite warm. Nice modern bathroom and comfy beds.

The breakfast buffet had a good selection but not much for young children. Excellent sea views from the restaurant and good staff service.

The pool area is nice with plenty of sunbeds, a big pool and access to the sea. Good selection of food and drinks from the pool bar.

The hotel is well located close to bus stop, local restaurants and shops, 20/25 minutes walk to the local town.

Beautiful Hotel overlooking the sea, beautiful swimming pool overlooking the sea and very varied international cuisine. We had a great time. A little out of the way from Palma but easily accessible by city bus or rental car

Amazing. So glad I d booked it, and sad to leave.
The room was very nice and impeccably clean.
Breakfast - pure happiness. Try the huevos rancheros and churros.
The hotel doesn t have a beach per se - it s small ladders from the terrace straight into the water, but I preferred it to a real beach. No sand in funny places, no need to hurt your feet walking on pebbles.
Plenty of sun beds any time of the day despite peak season.
I got stung by a jelly fish quite badly, the life guard had some magic ointment to soothe my hand, which was an unexpected bonus not having to schlepp to a pharmacy in the heat.
Overall, wish I d booked this hotel for the whole holiday and not moved to another part of the island. Highly recommended.

The hotel is good, I liked it. Beautiful view from the balcony. Sunset at sea from the platform, but there is a sandy city beach nearby. I would not take dinner, you can go to the palm tree in the evening for a walk and dinner there. Urban transport runs every 8-10min and up to 23.00 hours

Great city hotel, very modern rooms with a great bathroom. Nice view of the water, small but adequate freshwater pool. Only access to the sea is a bit difficult to reach via a ladder.

Lovely quiet and quiet place, highly recommend this place. At a convenient distance from the airport, where there is a paralyzing and easing flight every minute of the day. There is, however, a bit far to the big city, but rent some bicycles possibly. scooter so it is easy to arrive. There are far to beaches that are not overcrowded, those nearby are like fly paper .... Lovely, quiet hotel with both pool and sea right next to the hotel. Very friendly staff, helpful and easy to talk to. The rooms could have been a little more refurbished. Wonderful views, good food and drinks. Good SPA which I definitely recommend. Located remote so quiet and quiet but just a short drive to both Palma city and the airport. Lovely rocks, just with sunbeds and entertainment were there if you were interested. All rooms with balcony, good or bad sea view. Close to small supermarkets and a sandy beach. Picturesque and lovely.

Great place to stay, a lot of money have been invested into this place. Great breakfast, good location, close to Palma, bus stop is few minutes away. I would not call their Fitness centre a Fitness centre as it is tiny and for two or three persons only but better than nothing. Great view and location. So I give 5 stars.

Just come back from here on Weds after 8 days. Best part about it is the staff. Everyone says the same on here and FB and its true they are all so so friendly. Hotel is nice and modern, pool never gets manic busy and views are great.

Food - Evening meals are nice but a bit limited and not very Spanish although the salad buffet starter is amazing and enough on its own to be fair. Breakfast the continental is amazing, cooked breakfasts aren't nice theyre always cold and the sausages are pathetic and mushrooms from a tin. The fruit is lovely but they could make a bit more of it, its the same every day. The continental is definitely the best.

The rooms are nice and modern although there is one major issue. The newly installed AC. Its just useless and there is only a fan speed switch in the rooms not a temperature control. Whoever thought of that needs shooting. Like hundreds of people in each room will want to be the same temperature as each other which is centrally controlled but for some reason cant be touched at reception?? One walk past reception and you hear other guests complaining so its not just me. They did give me a big fan though and that's the only reason I survived. The AC also smells funny when it runs. The other issues i had with the room were the flashing LED on the smoke alarm that is so bright you can see it through your eyelids when your trying to sleep and the same from the TV which you cant switch off. However if you ask them the maintenance man has a specially designed cover for the Smoke alarm that allows it to work and disguises the LED so again they must know this is a problem. The only other issue was the toilet brush was disgraceful it looked like they refurbed the rooms and forgot the brush it was filthy and old and I showed the maid but she just shrugged at me.

Of all the hotels I've stayed in around Palma this was ok but was disappointed to find that we were staying in the rooms across the road and not in the main part of the hotel. They are clean but very basic. For summer it's super busy. If you are looking for luxury this probably wouldn't be the place but other than that it's ok.

Very nice view of the sea because the hotel is right on the water. Frequented mainly by Germans, English and Russians.

4 stars for the breathtaking view.

It is close to 5 stars except for a couple of details and some unpleasant receptionist, who also seems to be the manager. Otherwise, a modern, comfortable hotel, quite quiet, a fairly complete breakfast buffet, fairly correct general attention ... It has a rather curious private cove and other accesses to the sea. And all at a more than reasonable price. For me, highly recommended.

A very nice, very friendly hotel right on the water. With different room categories and room sizes. Breakfast and dinner can be very nice on the covered and forward open terrace, with a wonderful view from every table on the bay of Palma, or inside this restaurant practically directly at the buffet ;-) but air-conditioned.
In the, with great views of the bay of Palma, ingenious, partially covered pool bar with a delicious lunch menu and also friendly staff you can ever get stuck. There are beach chairs, around the pool and on various other terraces enough, in any case, we had never had a problem not to get. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times and this year 2018 it goes back. We booked again a suite, because of the 2-room layout. It is wonderful there.
Ok .... the place itself is very quiet and does not have much to offer, but by bus or car it is not far to Palma ... etc.

Nothing to say about the reception and the setting. The deco of the rooms and the common parts could be more neat. The restaurant is nothing exceptional even if the service is quality.

Bad Wi-Fi, no air conditioning running, basic food, uncooked croissant, no tea or coffee facilities in a superior room, no privacy in the bathroom in a superior room, not the best of views, ignorant bar staff, bar near the lobby never open.

Very good breakfast, quiet place, the chefs are exceptionally nice, reception could probably have looked more at the guests, good cleaning.Returns back.

Stayed here for two weeks June month. 2019. Very good hotel. Nice service, and fantastic breakfast! Lovely location with great views. Enjoyed the little bathing bay next to the hotel. Quiet and quiet place. Short distance to Palma for shopping. Can't wait to come back June 2020!

Any small problems we had like a clogged drain or getting stuck in the elevator (our fault) was addressed immediately. Can t beat the location and scenery. Wish the restaurant was open later. Breakfast was amazing.

Excellent stay at this hotel which has a wonderful sea view. It was a dream holiday! We loved to enjoy a beautiful cove which only hotel guests have access to! The rooms are spacious. The hotel staff is lovely except the receptionist reception .... breakfast and decent meal. Quality is not always at the appointment. For sunbathers, I advise you to take a sunbed from 8am because customers grab the best spots before going to lunch! We will definitely stay here again!

Good location right on the water. Old house, was probably renovated. Corresponds to a four star standard.

The house is set up for mass tourism. The service and restaurants are designed accordingly. The breakfast service is acceptable, but not really good.

Parking is a disaster.
