Nice and helpful service but no general kitchen available

All good about it. Perfect for both business and pleasure

Everything ok - except for the toilet, the construction of which is just embarrassing
Nice hotel in a nice location with a nice restaurant next door. Nice design too, but in the bathroom, form came before function: the toilet only "separated" from the room with a glass wall ... every doll arrives directly at the roommate. Great.
The restaurant was very careless about Corona protection. Experienced differently than in the Netherlands.

Upon arrival, the receptionist told us that the hotel was fully booked. We got a very small room on the 2 floors. Again went to the reception, we were helped by another receptionist when it was possible to get another room. Because there was a big party, they had placed fire baskets outside our windows. Got a lot of ast from smoke in the room. (I have c.o.p.d.) My husband went to the reception again and said that we could not stay in this room. We wanted to go home. Suddenly there was a room on the other side. I find it very difficult that we are willing to pay for an upgrade on arrival but we are told that the hotel is fully booked. Which later turns out to be not true. So we no longer have faith in the staff. Too bad really had a nice stay.

Good hotel, nice spacious room. Sauna is limited to 1 sauna and shower. Had to turn on the sauna and wait 20 minutes, too bad. Breakfast was fine and good coffee. Front desk was friendly. The toilet has no door, was getting used to but still succeeded. So had a great time.

Very good hotel, perfect room with (not used) bath as decoration in the seating area. Good restaurant with unfortunately too small size. We had to divert the second day to another occasion because the possibility of dining in the hotel was not present. Points of minor criticism. Rain shower is nice but make sure you have a shower cap in the room.! In addition, good TV, unfortunately without braces so that he could only be seen on the edge of the bed. Friendly staff, great breakfast and recommended. We are coming back.

Noisy hotel, small-scale but everything is well maintained; room, breakfast, suggested packages and always friendly service, reception ...

Is not a 4 star hotel .. room neat and separate / special. Yes, an interior architect has gone completely crazy there. 1 of the two beds was worn out. Staff at reception very friendly.
Breakfast was not our taste and certainly no indulgence to top it off. A lot of profit can be made here for the guests and I mean the experience if you compare that with other hotels.
Parking perfect in front of the door. Also two places for electric charging car .
From the outside the hotel looks very nice with thatched roof.

Nice place to stay. Food is tasty and rooms are clean and comfortable. Only thing I found not OK, is the bathtoom devided only by the glass and not a fogy one but clear and you can see all that is going on in it

Very nice and modern hotel. Employees are friendly and hospitable (kudos to trainee Mathijs). Room upgrade was no problem (was not fully booked). Room (Poppy room with patio doors to the outside) was clean, unique and cared for. Lovely shower and 2 sinks. Not an issue for us (girlfriend and I), but business partners may find it a bit strange to see each other showering and sitting on the toilet. Bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a glass wall. So as a couple no problem, (at least if you are not squeamish of course ) Beds were good.

Breakfast was very tasty, something for everyone. Read here and there that it could be a bit more elaborate ...... Egg (boiled or fried), fried bacon, freshly baked brown and white bread, croissants, different types of normal rolls, butter, different types of jams, nutella, peanut butter , cheese, roast beef, ham (and other meat spreads) normal and strawberry yogurt + choice 3 types of muesli, fruit, different types of tasty coffee and juices. It just depends on what you are used to, but you certainly did not lack anything! Breakfast restaurant was beautiful and modern.

Sauna was small but very nice (4-6 people), 2 showers, towels were already there and the sauna was open until 1 am! After a long day of cycling, this was very nice for the buttocks and legs

Overall, we really enjoyed it here, The only thing I personally missed was a drawer to store some small items and a safe for the tablet, hard drive, passport, important expensive items .... but if that is it .. .....

It's a nice hote; clean and fresh room. And the surroundings and the village are also cozy and beautiful.

Very nice hotel. Nice and clean rooms and super comfortable beds. Breakfast is also very good. Only negative is the open bathroom, especially with the toilet this isnt that convenient.

Beautiful location and many beautiful and neat rooms

My girlfriend and I booked the most luxurious room together. Reservations and contact with the hotel went great. Staff is also very friendly. But the quality of the room? We were a bit shocked. As soon as the door opened, flies and mosquitoes flew around our ears. There was USED nasal medication from the previous visitor. The shower door did not close so water spilled over the floor. Same story with the jacuzzi. As soon as the bubbles started, the water flew all over the place. Can I imagine anything, it is after all a jacuzzi. But then give something to clean it up instead of having to use our shower towels to dry the floor. The toilet! Magnificent. No door. I don't understand this decision in a double room either. Some outlets also didn't work and the only light my girlfriend could turn on to go to the bathroom at night was the light that lit VERY the room. Goodbye night rest.

Oh yes, there is soap, coffee and a shaving set ready;).

The decor is in design and tasteful. The service and breakfast excellent. Great base for trips to Spakenburg, among others. Recommended.

Friendly staff. Delicious extensive breakfast with fresh warm rolls.
We just had to get used to the fact that the toilet was roughly in the room. That was the only downside.
Will recommend this hotel if one wants to go to Nijkerk!

Gorgeous hotel. The room and shower were clean and the decor is very inviting. The bed and chairs were comfortable. Our room had a bathtub which I enjoyed. The staff was very accommodating. They helped my partner set up a romantic surprise with rose petals, a bottle of wine, and a note wishing us a happy anniversary.

We rented bikes at the hotel for 5 euros each and we got to bike beside beautiful farmland and admire the houses on the way. Besides biking, there wasn't much else to do.

The restaurant is lovely, but breakfast didn't have many options. We got our own breakfast for day two.

We went for their reward of "Mooiste disign hotel 2019" and 4 stars ... a pity but it wasn't. The hotel is on the outskirts of the village near a very busy roundabout, especially during rush hour. The staff are friendly but the reception certainly does not radiate a disign but rather the look of a garage watch post, the F1 in France are often better. The room looked pretty nice and cared for until you look a little further. The silicone of the windows had mold indicating moisture confirmation were silverfish in the room 3 days 5. No fridge provided but no direct bar to eat something. You can go to the neighbors, Moeke Nijkerk, for a drink, but in bad weather you have to go outside due to the rain.
The shower and toilet were good, no light in the shower room and toilet glasses were not cleaned thoroughly enough. Colonial wardrobe without shelves in the wardrobe and 1 hooked rack for 5 clothes hangers, so leave clothing in the suitcase. The breakfast was reasonably well, but on Sunday it was not good, the rolls had become sandwichbuns, bacon seemed warmed up and dried, fried eggs floating on the shortening and many had already anticipated. The butter cookies and croissants not baked enough, raw dough inside. The breakfast room was also always cold which is very uncomfortable in the morning. If you look at the rooms separately it will be quite ok but in this whole I think it was not successful as a hotel certainly not for 4 stars.

Nice hotel with good restaurant and breakfast. Nice spacious rooms. Been coming here for years. I have noticed that it has become a bit puddier lately. Walls are starting to crack and recently had a sagging bed in room 114. Sleep here again next week so hope for better.

Really a beautiful hotel! We were in a very spacious room of around 40 m2, with a beautiful bath and shower. In terms of breakfast there is still a bit of room for improvement, for example, I missed the salmon, a normally fried egg and some walnuts and dried fruits.

Nice hotel! Breakfast less ... But I am very spoiled

We had the "Schaapkamer", a free upgrade. A nice spacious room with even a seat. A bit tricky is that the toilet is in open connection with the room, around a corner, but not really ideal in terms of sound and smell (Luckily half a floor below there is a toilet, so you can divert to it if necessary). Rituals shower gel and shampoo in the shower, and of course the bathrobes!
The climate control is very good. Great beds, great sleep!
Breakfast in itself is good. Two drawbacks:
1. Quite a lot of flies, which came through the open window (with a ditch right behind the window)
2. Orange juice from a machine. I would expect better at such a luxury hotel. I really don't expect freshly squeezed juice, but actually do expect supermarket packaging quality, not this 'colored water' quality

Very nice, clean hotel, the breakfast is not four stars, as the hotel pretends, but something for everyone, the very open toilet in the room is getting used to, the wellness department consists of a small sauna with a very small relaxation area, the staff is very friendly.
For a short break it is highly recommended.

The hotel is on the outskirts and you have to walk a long way to get to the village. There are also rental bikes at the reception. The rooms are nicely decorated and also equipped with kettle tea / coffee. Getting used to the open bathroom area was ok for me as a single guest. The breakfast buffet is extensive and highly recommended.

Fantastic place for a rural getaway in Holland. Tranquil with good atmosphere and very original. The villages around idyllic eon. The treatment of the staff very kind though a little dry, but I guess this is also due to the difference of cultures.

Wij hebben hier onze hele trouwdag met een gezelschap van 54 daggasten en 150 avondgasten gevierd en hebben mede door de Roode Schuur de dag van ons leven beleefd! Zowel in de gesprekken, meedenken en begeleiding vooraf en het nakomen van de gemaakte afspraken op de dag zelf krijgen alle medewerkers van de Roode Schuur een hele dikke 10! Ook van onze gasten kregen wij complimenten over de topbediening, lekker eten en een goed feest.

Modern hotel with fine facilities and friendly staff. Had dinner in the restaurant next door, which has a relaxed atmosphere but the food and service are great. Breakfast is the hotel itself is good as well. Try one of the more luxurious rooms, totally worth the money!
