Conveniently located near to most of the Gelderland attractions. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Great staff and a nice breakfast. If you are looking for a hotel in this region then you can't go wrong with De Roode Schuur. The only complaint would be the WiFi quality. However, that does give you the excuse to turn off the distracting devices and enjoy your surroundings.

What a nice room we had! Some small practical drawbacks, but otherwise great for short-stay. (Vanity mirror hangs far away, tap is very low, toilet no separate door, TV is very far) and delicious and nice restaurant 5 seconds away. Highly recommended. We went to Sauna and Dolfinarium.

A really nice and diverse place. There's a hotel, a restaurant and rooms to host diner- and dance parties in it. Nice hard working staff.
The place just build a new building so there was still some construction going on. The Hotel is very new, neat with really nice rooms. The interior design has a distinct taste which you either will or won't like ;)

Super nice hotel, room fully equipped. Climate controllable, comfortable beds and blackout was great. Breakfast very complete. Staff that you as an entrepreneur can be proud of. In short, highly recommended. You are seen and valued as a customer.

Suite booked. Great decor. Modern. Good sanitary bed modern and clean. Friendly staff on arrival. Breakfast booked. Ambiance contributes to the feeling of being away for a wonderful weekend. Also cozy bar in the restaurant next to the hotel.

Beware if you are staying with a colleague! The bathroom is completely transparent and has no door. Privacy can therefore be an issue

Friday 5 April checked in at the fantastic hotel de Roode Schuur! Special day for us ... Our first weekend away together .. Well thanks to the Roode Schuur it has become a party ... Hotel room was full of atmosphere! Quiet location, nicely furnished and fully equipped. He was particularly impressed by the design with many surprising effects. Then the restaurant, delicious breakfast in the morning, mouth-watering dinner in the evening .. And the hostesses and host, tribute ... Extremely friendly, neat, cozy, and made you feel at home ... And that's how it felt ! No ordinary hostesses / host .. but hostess and host + !! This way you pamper your guests ... delicious! The weekend was a success for us ... in everything ... thanks for your wonderful hospitality ... We are coming back ... because the Roode barn has gained a lot of meaning for us !!. And we often celebrate there !! Success, and keep it up! J & J

Due to a takeover, some things were missing and not everything went well together. The Wellness is small but beautiful.

I know this location from the parties that are given occasionally. Dance Classics Both the location and the parties themselves are pleasant. A nice location to go out. The age at these parties is an average of 28 I guess, you will find everything between 18 and 35. That makes it nice and diverse. There is also a guarded wardrobe for one euro at these parties. It is best to buy tickets in advance online or at Primera.

Very good hotel. Friendly staff. Free use of a cot in the room, with, very thoughtful, a nice hug as a surprise for our little one. Good beds and a wonderful rain shower. The next morning enjoyed a rich breakfast with real fresh fruit and a large selection of sandwiches and spreads. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel! We were here two nights in a weekend. Neat rooms, nothing wrong with that. Looked very neat. The rain shower was very tasty! On arrival we had to tell how laaf wanted to eat breakfast. Fortunately they did not hold us so tightly here, it also feels a bit inhospitable. The breakfast was tasty and quite extensive. Great hotel!

Room was out of order, no towels and cups at the sink, and the reception closes at 7pm!

Nice hotel in Nijkerk, close to the pleasant city of Spakenburg

Very nicely decorated hotel. Great breakfast. Enjoyed, is centrally located near Amersfoort and the Veluwe. Toilets at breakfast area are blocked by the open door in the kitchen, the carts with food are placed in the hall of the toilets. Staff discourages the use of toilets. Special.

Dust nests, spider and silverfish. No privacy in the bathroom. It may not be called the (red) barn voor for nothing. WiFi is poor (end of the corridor).
Hopefully the breakfast will be better tomorrow.

Rooms are smaller than imagined. The well of the shower was clogged but otherwise great for each other (they arranged the well immediately)

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel De Roode Schuur. At the beginning we were told that we were lucky and would get a free upgrade. Instead of our booked comfort room, we got the "Honeymoon Suite", which is why I can only give the full 5 stars here! The room was super modern and exclusively furnished with extras like a jacuzzi, balcony and an espresso machine. Everything was also very clean. The staff at the front desk and in the dining room were very accommodating. There is ample free parking in front of the hotel.

Nevertheless, I also have a few small points that could be optimized if necessary:
1. The open toilet without a door takes a bit of getting used to. You could possibly attach a flap door here, similar to the shower.

2. One window was provided with a white, transparent blind and unfortunately did not darken well.

3. The breakfast was very tasty and varied, but in my opinion not at the 4-star level. The scrambled eggs were probably out of the bag and stretched with milk. In the dining room it was extremely overcrowded and loud, but also very modern and stylish.

Overall, it was very nice and we enjoyed the great room.
We would definitely come back here again.

Suites hotel.
The bathroom and bedroom were separated from each other without a door. A sink broken, the toilet brush dirty. Coffee stains all over the carpet.
The wellness area consisted of a shower and a small sauna. This was activated on request and after trying something around I got the sauna going on my own.
Breakfast should rip it all out. Small corner room with some bread and sausage. The only plus was the self-service coffee machine.
Unfortunately, the entire stay seemed like wanted and not able, the attention was focused on the wrong things. The Rituals shower gel and the brochure for activities in the area were great, but a clean hotel room would have been better, without dirt from the previous guest. It's a shame, as the hotel and the grounds are really very nice.

Nice hotel with a nice cozy cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, something had gone wrong with our room, so that we were given a different room than what was paid for. Fortunately this was adequately and neatly solved by the hotel and we had a delicious 3 course dinner as compensation at the neighbors of the restaurant. Breakfast was nice but when the hotel is full the breakfast can be somewhat busy and tight, but the quality of the breakfast was good. All in all had a very nice stay.

The room we booked for two nights was great. Everything was well taken care of and we were not short of anything.

Everything a 10, I think it is super there. A great hotel, good food at the neighbors. And a beautiful setting beautiful for cycling. The hotel has nice cycling routes.

Design for functionality. Open toilet. Great bed and breakfast. Good food (at Moeke's) in the backyard. Have been here several times and keep coming back. Stays fun.

The breakfast offers everything you need for a good start to the day. The scrambled eggs are obviously out of the bag, you could change that so as not to spoil the perfect impression!
Sauna was also used by us. Here, however, you should get / bring your own infusion.

Fruit salad and tomatoes, peppers and cucumber, egg, scrambled eggs, bacon.
Really a treat ..

The atmosphere is good, and the food and drinks are great
