What do I say that hasn't already been said before...
What do I say that hasn't already been said before? Hotel Emma is the single most beautiful place I've ever stayed in. The entire experience was nothing short of magical. The entire staff is warm and courteous -- my favorite aspect is them, upon learning that I don't drink alcohol, arranging for a non-alcoholic "prohibition punch" option for me in the library in lieu of their traditional welcoming margarita. In my room I found an assortment of Topo Chicos and Waterloo sparkling waters. It's the little things. I left my room and came back to find a lavender flavored macaron on a plate with a nice handwritten note from the housekeeper. I mean c'mon. If I ever strike it rich I'm just going to live here year round. I love the fact that you can visit three different restaurants without ever leaving the building. The bath products provided (and full bottles at that, none of this sample stuff) were incredible. Also, and I don't know if this has been mentioned before in any of the other reviews, but the entire hotel has a very distinct identifiable SMELL to it that is hard to place. And I mean that in the best way possible, the lobby down to the room smell like...spiced sandalwood? And then come to find out that they have packaged this smell into room sprays and candles that you can buy and take home. They've truly thought of everything. If there is a heaven I imagine it's something like this place.
