What do I say that hasn't already been said before...

What do I say that hasn't already been said before? Hotel Emma is the single most beautiful place I've ever stayed in. The entire experience was nothing short of magical. The entire staff is warm and courteous -- my favorite aspect is them, upon learning that I don't drink alcohol, arranging for a non-alcoholic "prohibition punch" option for me in the library in lieu of their traditional welcoming margarita. In my room I found an assortment of Topo Chicos and Waterloo sparkling waters. It's the little things. I left my room and came back to find a lavender flavored macaron on a plate with a nice handwritten note from the housekeeper. I mean c'mon. If I ever strike it rich I'm just going to live here year round. I love the fact that you can visit three different restaurants without ever leaving the building. The bath products provided (and full bottles at that, none of this sample stuff) were incredible. Also, and I don't know if this has been mentioned before in any of the other reviews, but the entire hotel has a very distinct identifiable SMELL to it that is hard to place. And I mean that in the best way possible, the lobby down to the room smell like...spiced sandalwood? And then come to find out that they have packaged this smell into room sprays and candles that you can buy and take home. They've truly thought of everything. If there is a heaven I imagine it's something like this place.

Nicest hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in! Aside from the overall beauty of the hotel, they have the nicest workers here! The big hairy guy working late Saturday night (July 31st), early Sunday morning (Aug 1st) deserves a raise and is one of the kindest people! A hard worker that goes above and beyond for sure. The service at this hotel is 11/10!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. This review won't do it justice.... the food, atmosphere, rooms, relics and antiques are all amazing. Right on the river, with instant access to The Pearl, Hotel Emma does not disappoint. Hospitality at its finest.

I am a physician in Colorado, but a native Texan, and to say I was looking forward to our stay at the Hotel Emma while FINALLY seeing my family was an understatement. Around midnight of our departure date, my daughter fell ill (she subsequently tested negative for COVID) and I knew I could not in good conscience continue our travel plans and risk the health and safety of those who would be around us. I made the sad but necessary decision to cancel our travel plans. It was of course beyond the date to cancel our reservation without a penalty fee and I was fully prepared to pay, especially given all the individualized preparations already made on our behalf (staying at the Hotel Emma with children is honestly amazing--you can't believe all the "extras" they come up with). However, the desk associate placed me on a brief hold during our call and returned to say that she had spoken with her manager about our situation and the hotel would be waving our fee. This inquiry was spontaneously initiated out of the kindness of this employee's heart, and granted by a manager who certainly had no obligation to do so. This decision cost the hotel thousands of dollars but it was done without hesitation. While I would never expect the Hotel Emma to routinely change their policies so last minute, such consideration and care for others is exactly what I would expect from this impeccable establishment. I cannot wait to visit home another time under healthy and safe circumstances and I cannot wait to rebook our stay at the Hotel Emma. I will continue to recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a beautifully curated experience of the city and cannot say enough how impressed I continue to be by everyone at the Hotel Emma, even when I'm not physically there. A special thanks to the night associate who took my call at 1am and extended some simple, gentle humanity--and to the night manager who supported her-- Hotel Emma: you are so lucky to have such innately kind people representing you. It is a rare and wonderful thing and does not go unappreciated by your guests. We cannot wait to return another time and wish everyone the best of health till then.

We celebrated our anniversary this week at Hotel Emma. We were welcomed with champagne and a bowl of fruit and chocolate.
We had dinner at Supper ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The drinks were superb! Our waitress Kayla was outstanding.

From the moment we drove up to the hotel to the moment we drove away, the attention that we received was beautiful. Every detail about our stay was phenomenal, and that was made possible because of the caring workers.
Thank you for making our day special!
Everyone needs to stay at this hotel at least once!

Hotel Emma is absolutely amazing. ALL of the staff are incredible, from the housekeepers, bellmen, drivers, concierge team, front desk staff, restaurant staff and kitchen teams. The answer is always YES and always with a smile. Think of the hotel as a delectable cake and the staff as the amazing icing. The perfect combination!!
