Super good hotel!

From the hotel you can easily discover all sides of Amsterdam.

The staff are super friendly and very helpful. They are fluent in Dutch and English.

The room was very clean and spacious enough for us. Modern layout with a nice bathroom. The bed sleep very well and the pillows were perfect.

Tip: if you have to pay a deposit for the room, make sure you always have enough cash with you. Meastro does not always work there.

We will definitely come back!

Beautiful hotel in a great location in Amsterdam. Friendly staff, great bar (Try the King's Cup Cocktail). Be sure to get a room on the 1st floor (rooms starting with 2XX). The rooms on the ground floor are directly connected to the lobby. (Not so great for privacy)

I love that this hotel is away from the main city center and situated in a quiet, cozy neighborhood next to Foodhallen. It s modern, vintage interior and soundproof rooms are just what I was looking for.

The rooms are original with a great bathroom. Nice decoration. There's no window toward the street, the only window is on the inside of the hotel.

Good hotel with small weaknesses in the cleanliness and organization, noises from the neighboring rooms can be heard clearly. Room is located in the middle of the hotel, without windows, no view - a shame.

The hotel is beautiful. It has a particular charm. The rooms are very clean, modern and cozy. The staff is very helpful. The place is quiet.

The hotel is very stylish. A rectangular block over 2 floors. Built in an old tram hall, no windows to open. The floor is in total. Hotel honed. Screed. The 2nd floor stands on steel girders. That's why every step roars from above.
In the middle between the rooms. Is the seating lounge. You can hear in the room. every step from outside. Everything from the kitchen and the bar. Every guest who arrives can be heard. All of the hotel's delivery traffic is handled through the guest entrance. Dirty laundry is pushed through the hotel on trolleys at 11 p.m. The groceries in the morning at 6.30. The female staff wear very loud heeled shoes. A swing for the children in front of the room. The cleaning crew works until 9:00 p.m.
The rooms are chic. But the toilets only have swing doors. So you have to turn the television on and turn on the tap so that your partner can go to the toilet. The floors are extremely cold as there is no floor covering. From midnight onwards, calm slowly returns. At 6.30 the noise starts again. Sleeping properly is out of the question. Really madness
The only positive thing is the location of the hotel, a good bed and nice staff.
For the price of the room, the circumstances are not really acceptable. Unfortunately there was no more affordable room to find in all of Amsterdam and we had paid in advance.
For us, of course. Never again this hotel

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff is incredible and the service is amazing. We stayed here during our move and everyone was so helpful and kind. The room was comfortable, the pillows are delightful, and they even upgraded us to a bigger room to accommodate all our stuff. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again.

Exceptional place, adjacent to Les Halles (food stands, bar, sweet delicacies and cuisines of the world).
Atypical hotel: style and decoration very successful. Very comfortable room (despite small size and lack of window).

Great hotel - might be the greatest hotel in AMS. Interior is really nice and great for picture. Rooms are very well kept and are also beautiful and make your stay better. Staff was very nice and attentive, helping with lung gage and local recommendations. This hotel will enhance your experience from Amsterdam.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Great location close to the big museums and the cozy Jordaan district. Really great service from all staff that we came in contact with. Great rooms with a really good bed. Great bikes you can rent. Foodhallen next door is a good food alternative.

Greatly designed hotel in an up and coming neighborhood

I booked it for my parents and they loved it! The concept of the hotel is unique. Rooms are nice as the bar near the reception. The location is quite central and easily connected to the airport and the central railway station.

What a spectacular hotel. Such an unusual yet perfectly designed hotel. Every corner, every level was considered and was an absolute treat to stay there. The market hall connected to the hotel is amazing and wonderful for food, music and a shop. This was an absolutely wonderful, peaceful, modern part of town easily reached by tram and foot from central station. SAFE too at any time of day. I was travelling alone so was a little concerned, I needed have been. Wonderful hotel for a weekend away!

Very original hotel in terms of decoration, large bathtub and xxl bed. However, the coffee machine did not work very well, but that is just a small detail. Too bad because of the covid, the rooms are not cleaned every day and it is up to us to ask for clean towels or even tea or coffee. The breakfast is very simple for the price. For a 4-star hotel, it should be more complete (hot chocolate for example). Also disappointed that there is no window in the room, I find it a bit dark. Otherwise, very correct and very friendly staff who meet your expectations. Very good location in relation to the city center and a small market next door.

It's a little far from the main street or downtown but it was quiet, so it was better for us.

Nice hotel, good location but rooms without windows therefore very dark and a small bathroom. Attention, bad surprise! The hotel offers no parking facilities or probe conditions for the parking garage under the hotel. 2 days parking 102!

Lovely design, fantastic rooms with lovely beds and bathrooms. Really cool location with foodhall right next door, and access to transport very close. Very friendly staff and a lovely bar. Very clean and tidy - we will be back.

Our room was quite small, the very large bathroom! . The property is about a 20-minute walk from the center and about a 2-minute walk from a tram stop (leading to the center). n is well positioned

Old converted service shed for trams. The conversion is a charming eclectic chic and the rooms modern. Highly recommended.

The courtyard rooms are without window, cubicle like but nonetheless a trendy spot

This is the only hotel I will stay at in Amsterdam. It is very modern and very clean for a good price. Also right next to Tram makes getting around very easy.

Great terrace and very friendly staff. We had the cheese platter from the famous Kef cheese shop. Out of this world, amazing. Great beer on the taps

The rooms are large, new, with well-designed furniture, well-appointed and very comfortable. The hotel service is very efficient. We were able to buy all the tickets to the museums right here, avoiding the long lines. The location is good, in a very nice area and close to a local, the foodhallen, full of stands with good food and drink. To reach the most touristic centers of Amsterdam you have to walk a little, about 15 minutes walk to the museum square, 15 minutes to the Jordaan and about 25 minutes to the red light district.

This is a very new, modern hotel well situated in the Old-West area of Amsterdam. It's within walking distance (or easy tram ride) from the major museums and trams go regularly to Central, Sloterdijk and Amstel stations. The day I was there was bright and sunny and it was very pleasant to sit outside having a drink with friends. Everything in my room was excellent, and the bed very comfortable. The staff were also extremely helpful. This is probably the best value for money hotel I've stayed in for a very long time.

The staff is lovely and the rooms are so nice! Make sure to try the breakfast at least once! Close to good eats at the Food Hallen. Nice area that is more residential than tourist which makes it nice and quiet. Easy access to the tram though to get you into the center of town quickly. Worth every cent.

Fantastic hotel for your Amsterdam trip. The rooms were very clean and stylishly decorated. The staff was friendly and competent. The location is great for walking down town and the market hall next to the hotel offers a great selection of food and drinks. Will definitely stay again.

The building is an old train station. The structure of the building has been respected, including the train tracks. Very nice The avant-garde and eclectic decoration gives a very interesting touch. Very European breakfast and good quality included. A few steps away and within the same structure of the old train station is a food market with different stands that offer you many delicious options. In order that I find it highly recommended

cool hotel that is a converted old train station...we stayed in a corner room that was massive and very comfortable...it was a little pricey but it did have a good looking and well stocked bar and is very close to the food hall, so depending on what you are looking for, it is worth it.

This hotel is ok. When I stayed here there wasn't any power in half of Amsterdam. The hotel staff did their best to accommodate.

Fabulous hotel just outside the main city centre in what I found was a locals area. Perfect location especially with the foodhallen located next door. would definitely visit again.

Nice little hotel. Middle rooms don't have windows so not as good as the rooms on the outer sides. Would visit again.

I stayed here in August 2014.

On arrival I was told that breakfast was not included. When I showed the printout from the agent stating breakfast was included the receptionist attempted to call the agent (teletext holidays) to confirm. This took all day because they could not get through.
I had booked 3 day and 3 night and because of the confusion about the breakfast I missed the 1030am breakfast deadline on the first day!
Furthermore there was only 2 breakfast tea bags in the room and i had to request more teabags on 3 separate occasions as they were stingey with them. There was no milk for the tea in the room either!
On the final day the room was not cleaned when I returned in the afternoon!

There is also alot of construction going on around the hotel so it feels like a building site coming and going to the hotel.

On the plus side the Architect has done a great job with converting this old tram maintenance building into a hotel. The design and choice of artwork and furniture is very good. Its a shame the service and communication did not quite live up to he high standards of the hotel design.
