Hotel Costes Review

The best in my eyes. Very nice hotel, very classy staff, the hostesses and waitresses are sublime a feast for the eyes and what is served in the plates, always very well presented is very good. Even the kid's menu makes you want. There is a very nice terrace, we dine there as well in summer as in winter.

Excellent hotel and food. It s expensive but the vibe and atmosphere is one of the best in Paris! Staff aren t the most attentive (wait and bar).

You don't have to see reviews about this place to know that is the number 1 place in Paris !! You must not lose the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful experience here. Good people, good music, good service !

Stay away from this place ! It's terrible ! First of all the minute we arrive and talk to hostess , she is practically yelling at us that we have to wait ... Never seen hostess talking like this to people , but we are really hungry so we decided to sit down to eat anyway and not ruin the evening. But then we wait for a waiter for an hour !!!! Every time I ask any waiter to come and take my order they just make face and say the waiter will come , eventually the waiter arrived and he had to go through all the menu because they don't have menu in English !!! ( hotel restaurant) !!!
But that's really didn't bother me so much as didn't bother me that food is real primitive , and more cafe style - not a restaurant . I ordered pasta it tasted like a pasta from the box , and omelette for a main dish ( really???) , salmon avocado sandwich for 30 euro - also wouldn't mind ! But the attitude is disgusting! At some point tha lady sitting next to me started to smoke , so we asked to move to non smoking area because all her smoke came on us . The hostess moved us immediately( thanks to that ) , but then comes a waiter and goes exactly like this : " Hey you can't sit here go back to your table , your food is there ! " ....i was in shock , had to explain to him several times about the situation with smoke , finally he anderstood , went away , came back few minutes later practically threw food on the table and left... curtain ...

Amazing and stunning interior. The bar was closed for renovation when we visited, we enjoyed in the restaurant lounge area all the same. Friendly welcoming staff.

Bland food typical of the "restaurants" Costes, customers of m.as-you-seen unbearable, lamentable service, carters who clutter the street, exorbitant prices. Absolutely avoid this concept of nerdy restaurant!

My spiritual home - love love love for many years from when I first heard the Hotel Costes original album. Dark, stylish, seductive and very Parisian.

It is always one of the trendiest places in Paris. Been there before, will go again. However it is on the expensive side.

Excellent bar, very cozy and trendy of the capital where it is good to live to taste petits fours and cakes with a good glass of wine or champagne as an aperitif. Warm and friendly atmosphere

Superb atmosphere in this bar to relax in class afterwork mode and lounge. Value for money a bit high compared to the proposed drinks and competitors type 4-5 stars and palaces.

Unpleasant unfriendly staff either physically or over the phone.

Sorry but this place is way too overrated ... Haughty staff, it's a shame because the place is idyllic to eat or have a drink.

Had a 9 o clock dinner reservation and was shown to a a line where I had to wait for 45 minutes to sit. Then once we sat the food and the service was horrible. Will never spend another dime here.

Wonderful property. Trendy crowd. Rooms can get a little warm. Everyone smokes...but this is Paris. Restaurant is outstanding!

Food at restaurant very good. Portions were perfectly sized. Service was better than traditional Parisian. Atmosphere was very cool although smoking seems like a sport and permeates internal and external areas.

I don t even want to give it a star.Terrible service and horrible staff, we have a reservation but when we arrived they said there were no reservation under our name and when we wanted to talk to the manager he said there was a dress code and we are not allowed to enter with sneakers, although there were people who are wearing sneakers inside. I think it's because the hejab if that's the case I think this is so inappropriate and racists. I'm really so disappointed to know that there are still backwards people on this planet. They should've been extincted with the apes

The cheesecake in the cafe is superb even with a high price: 14 .
On the other hand, the reception in the entrance was really horrible (cold and arrogant employees)

Have being dinning there a couple of times! Amazing food and wine selection. Well trained service and hostess. Highly recommend for lunch/dinner! On the flip side a bit pricy :))

Cool place for dinner but the waiter was not bright. We are pescetarian and he said the only thing we can order was avocado.... seemed like he did not want to be there. We ended up ordering pasta and at the end of the night he said he just wants to be a bartender !

tried to book for the restaurant by phone, very bad attitude and service, feel like you own them 10000 euro, if you have a choice, just do not go.

The smell of the hotel alone is worth visiting this place! Whether just for eating and drinking or staying overnight, absolutely recommendable.

I love this place but I don't want to go there anymore because of the awful staff. I was going to book a table for dinner but given the tone and the response of the hostess of the restaurant, I prefer to go elsewhere. Really a shame to take clients high and to take themselves for who we are not ...

As a chef from NYC we tend to be very picky when it comes to food and service but here, I have only one thing to say my GF pasta was cold but she ate it all.

Best place for afternoon coffee !!! And bar at night.

Nothing is at the expected level ... 15 min wait before being installed when we had booked ... order taken at 10 p.m. ... when we had arrived 45 minutes ago ... Good dishes but nothing more. .. the chicken was good but served with the equivalent of 2 tablespoons of sauce ... overcooked rice ... The service was long ... Most of the hostesses are vulgar and not friendly .. Go there for the spot because it is a superb place especially the interior courtyard.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Worst Hotel experience ever. Very rude staff. They really need to change that arrogant attitudes. fckin racists.

A+ people watching, fantastic and fun drinks list and wonderful food. Service is silky smooth, professional and unexpectedly friendly at what is Paris' haute dining venue. Five stars.

Whenever I've been there for their Bar & Restaurant, There are so many people and very energetic fancy staffs.

Very disappointing .. we were a party of 10 women from India and we booked 2 tables of 5 each post dinner at 11 pm for drinks. When we reached they wouldn t let us sit together despite there being ample tables available.
Conceding to that, when we ordered drinks and dessert, they refused to serve us and asked us to leave because they wanted us to eat dinner.
The arrogance and high headedness was utterly despicable and unheard of!
It has left a very very poor impression of the hospitality of the Parisians!
Entire you loss hotel Costes! Suggest some serious introspection for a service entity such as yourself when you disrespect your customers to this extent.
Tourists beware..This is a complete miss!

Not what it once was...haven t been in years and while on surface still looks cool, the place is dirty and poorly maintained. We just stopped in for tea and a snack and basically ate microwave quality spring rolls for 25 euros (only 4 pieces a plate so has to order two) and we all felt ill afterwards. My poor wife actually vomited immediately after eating and ran to the toilet after....the rest of us just felt nauseous....Was it uncleaned lettuce wraps? Judging from the filthy tables and chairs I would bet the kitchen isn t spotless either...

Perfect lunch with fantastic looking waiting staff. Pure Paris
