They put us in the worst little room in the hotel, the door handles were chipped and moldy, the shower head didn't work properly and the water couldn't keep its temperature, the carpet had dirty spots.
In the restaurant you have to be prepared to wait a long time, after 10 minutes they will come to take the order. After 45 minutes you have been lucky enough to have a starter and then count another 45 minutes until the main course is there. Good service depends from person to person, they do not speak Dutch or not well enough. There's work to be done

Excellent establishment for a good breath of fresh air at sea during this time of COVID and the many restrictions that accompany it. The hotel is very well located (close to the sea wall, beach, shopping street, ...) and very well maintained. We had booked a Deluxe Triple Room to have the most renovated room type. The room was spotlessly clean and well decorated but with a view of the interior courtyard and most importantly the double bed was not really one ... 2 separate beds / mattresses that don't fit together. Pity! Otherwise, the service is good and the concept of dining in the room is very well thought out and organized (menu at 30 - starter / main course / dessert), we ate very well. Breakfast is served on the ground floor and is also eaten in the room. It is more provided on weekends than on weekdays, however ... We also tested the private sauna (to be reserved in advance because on site, it is often already full for the whole weekend) for 2 hours and we were pleasantly surprised: space very clean and in immaculate condition. It does not take more for 2 hours of relaxation!

Hotel visited 5 consecutive days at the beginning of the year room 123 which I have had in the past.
I am in training with my employer DUCO VERO in furnes we still live in this establishment
In all, I've been there 3 times

So I do not leave my comment lightly, I am long enough to relax to judge an establishment or a team.

Nice overall, perfect room in my opinion, very clean.
Meal excellent quality / price / choice.
BE CAREFUL order the evening meal or breakfast before 5:30 p.m. If you eat lunch before 7 a.m. you will understand why I insist I have eaten a meal jaja that's okay I have some reservations I'm not dead.

Yes as you can see I often eat the same dish jajaj I have a great time each time.
Very good starters at the chef's choice, super well seasoned salads with pine nuts, perfect piece of beef, pleasant meat on the palate, fried pepper sauce and dessert at the chef's choice I always tried to eat everything because very good but a not very generous despite my excellent appetite so a little waste sorry.

You are asked not to use the fridge, which is really complicated, and to ventilate the room regularly, which can be done without any problem.
Very well equipped bathroom, slight hearing, very slight trace of mold below the joint of the bathtub but I will admit that the cleaning is perfectly done and I do not put my fingers everywhere either so no risk in my humble opinion .

Super clean carpet nothing on the bed nor hair no dust. And I am quite watching on all this so do not exaggerate either and take pictures to share it reinforces the veracity of your opinions by attesting to the good Faith.

The only downside was the not very pleasant ladies that I encountered on my way out early in the morning before 7:30 am. Only negative remark that I have to report on all stays

But it did not impact my stay in any way.

I must say that finding an establishment with a great value for money, really habitable rooms and above all comfortable beds, nice television with connections for PlayStation is a plus for me.

I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough.

Food, service and breakfast were fantastic! After checking out, we wanted to go back so badly that we booked a room again that same evening, however the first time everything was perfectly clean which was not the case with our 2nd stay that same evening. Still, this is a strong recommendation!

Hotel has a good location, friendly and hospitable staff. Room was ready well before four o'clock so we were able to move on immediately, even though it was less than four o'clock. Then the cleaning team taps twice after five hours? Then weird time of cleaning, once before four times after four! In the hotel it is generally warm, especially in the elevator, outside 22 gr. Room are clean and spacious, breakfast is good. Parking at the hotel is limited, covered public parking is an alternative, 150 m. Away. Against this, bicycle parking is limited, and you have to nag at the reception every time for the key.

Friendly hotel overall, nice room and good meal BUT underfloor heating, it was choking all night, forced to open the window by the very low temperatures but either. On the other hand the noise of the air conditioning in the yard was suddenly very audible because of the open window. A real task on the beautiful painting

This hotel has a good quality / price ratio in a seaside resort which goes up (friendly commercial street, nice environment, good reception of the traders, shops of standing).

Reception is a bit slow during the rush to arrive, the cushions are poor, but the bed is large and very comfortable.
We were in a room spacious enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children without problems (the children could play).

Welcoming and attentive staff.

We just had a hot water issue one morning, but got resolved by reception quickly.

The brasserie attached to the hotel is average, but there is a nice playroom for the kids.

This hotel deserves special recognition for its accessibility.
A passing detail for most, but so important for people with disabilities, the button for the lift is at the height of a wheelchair user, the buttons in the lift are also marked in Braille, on both sides of the lift!
The welcome is warm, coming home, very friendly staff, concerned, helpful and grateful!
The breakfast is superb, with a glass of cava on the side, makes it festive, even if you are alone!
The food in Brasserie Carrousel is very tasty, well-tended, well-screened, trained staff! nice menu!
The room is very spacious, even with a wheelchair, the bathroom is great! Good smooth WiFi!
I have been coming to Nieuwpoort for quite some time now! But the first time in this Hotel, I did not doubt it for a second, I will be back. By the way, I've already booked for December!

Would I like to point out that the city is very clean of nickel . I would like to say that the hotel is very clean and the breakfast is very generous and all the para-port rules in the covit its respect mask and disinfectant product. . Friendly staff and always smile.

With the Alumni HR Masterclass of the Vlerickbusiness school, we have been organizing our annual seminar for 3 years, with about 90 participants, in the Cosmopolite Hotel in Nieuwpoort.
We have been returning there for 3 years now because of the excellent service, excellent cuisine and extremely suitable seminar facilities. We always get positive feedback from the seminar participants about the hotel!

The location is great. But, the management has bigger eyes than stomach... At maximum capacity they are unable to serve food between the informed time, which was from 6 to 7pm. There was a delay of 45min for starters to arrive, while the main course arrived at 9:15. It seems that the staff was very nervous and overworked. The receptionist behaved very rudely when we were asking for more information. Instead of apologizing for the delay, or offering us a drink or so, he just told us to live with it. He seemed very overwhelmed. Listening to his costumers and not hanging up the phone on them should be a minimum requirement for a receptionist.

Just like the previous years we enjoyed a few days in this hotel. Even with all imposed COVID measures, a pleasant stay has been ensured. A well-organized breakfast and top room service at dinner. See you next time.

A short stay following a fruitful seminar made us realize once again what a good hotel this is. Price quality 10/10 for us. Thanks to the hospitable staff and staff!

Nice hotel. Good location. Good restaurant. Rich breakfast.

We are charmed by this hotel. We had a family room really spacious and well soundproofed. The breakfast was very good (smoked salmon, cava, ...). We did not really enjoy the bar but the lobby / lounge is well appointed and comfortable. A very good stay for us.

Good pancakes, the children's play area is also a nice addition. The service is sufficient and the staff does what they have to do. Sometimes the service is a bit slow. Conclusion: it is not a great example, but still a relatively good choice to come with children.

Outdated rooms with a few defects. A lot of noise outside and in the hallway. Quite pricey for the service and the food. Bad beds do not make the stay pleasant.

The room had no heating when we arrived (it was -5 outside), luckily it did get fixed after a few hours. Second night we ordered dinner with room service (only option during corona times), and we were told that it will arrive between 6PM and 7 PM. By 9PM we still have not received our main course. When calling the reception (from my own phone as the phone in the room was not working), the receptionist told me that "well we have a lot of guests today, so that's just it" and put the phone down on me. Lovely service, let's say....

Luxurious suite with sea view, exceptional sauna, kindness and professionalism ... very beautiful decoration and atmosphere.

Staying one night in this hotel, we had booked a triple room with very modern decor on booking. It is also this aspect that made us choose this place ... unfortunately when we arrived we were quickly disillusioned ... the room has been renovated but on the other hand the bathroom was not in the same condition. . mold on the joints and very kitsch and old tiling ... following our remark we were changed rooms, an ordinary room worthy of a motorway hotel, with carpet on the floor that smelled musty ... we didn't we didn't know what was the worst, the mold in the 1st bedroom or the smell of a retirement home in the 2nd ... we who had fallen for the decor for this hotel, really disappointed

Neat and large rooms. Biggest downside: the heating cannot be regulated, for us the nights were a bit too hot. Breakfast can also be there. Good value for money all in all.

After another hotel could not give us a room due to miscommunication, we were helped by this hotel within 1 minute !! They immediately offered us a room that met our wishes (a bath). On the phone, they were very friendly and found the best price for us. Also very friendly and warm on arrival. Nothing was too much to ask! The room was very neat, good beds! No noise pollution. Breakfast was very good, very large selection. We are satisfied and will be back!

The accessibility is also ideal, parking is not expensive ( 6 for 1 day) and easily accessible. Also within walking distance of the sea: simply blissful!

Rooms are neat and tidy. Toilet paper sits on a large roll in a metal housing and tears off too easily so you have to fish regularly to the start of the roll. Full breakfast buffet. A little more information about the breakfast system would be nice because we didn't really know how it worked the first day, especially since the buffet and the seats were in a different room. Some staff members are non-native speakers, which sometimes gives the impression of being less polite. They probably mean well, but they seemed stressed at busier moments. The difference here with the Dutch-speaking staff was clear. Parking is possible in front of the hotel on the street. We were three cars and paid neatly via the parking meter. Thanks to the complicated and confusing parking system, 1 of 3 has a fine of 30 euros, so pay attention to which color zone you are in and how long you are allowed to park! The cigar smoke from the cigar lounge was smelling until the 4th, so this was less pleasant. There was a stain on the pillow, but the bed is blissful. Hotel gets a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

Price is good for the quality that you get.
Downside is the hotel restaurant food and service could be better
because it could better monitor. (long waiting times and ask if everything is OK)

It is right on the shopping street and very close to the beach. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Modern interior. If you decide to cocoon in the hotel room, you will still be given fresh towels.

We spent one night in a family room. The room was very spacious and clean. Welcome to our arrival. Breakfast is ok. Parking at 16 per night located just 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. We had a balcony with a sea view. Negative points: lack of air in the corridors and the paper dispenser in the toilets is inconvenient. To review...

Very friendly check in. Room for 1 person but what a beautiful room with a large terrace fantastic! Dogs allowed and also in the restaurant in the evening. Breakfast is not allowed. SIN!!!! For the rest, just supper! Breakfast was quite delicious!
