Nice big meeting rooms for presentations and had a good BBQ on a nice patio afterwards

Great hotel .. bicycles could be stored in a closed shed with charging points. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful surroundings.

Poor food little variety in the live and cooking noisy atmosphere tasteless dishes very incompetent staff in the kitchen hygiene moderate price overpriced for the quality of the food. Not used to van der valk not worth repeating with 8 people and they all said the same thing: BAD.

Beautiful Hotel, rooms are top furnished and equipped with all facilities.

From the outside it seems to be disappointing but when you enter it is really incredibly modern but also nicely refurbished. Highly recommended!

We are three days was very well looked after we had a nice room and it was also very clean

We found the a la carte restaurant Nest very disappointing, little choice and the dishes on the menu are too pricey. There is no small menu or pasta or something. Too bad, we are always satisfied with the restaurants of van der Valk, but we don't come here a second time. The suite we had was good, only the coffee / tea in the room was missing, which was part immediately indicated.The breakfast was perfectly fine!

The hotel has excellent, clean rooms, friendly staff, high level of expertise at the front desk, excellent cuisine for the eyes and the palate, great and extensive breakfast buffet, service and attention in the restaurant has room for improvement.
Location of the hotel is awesome between The Hague and Amsterdam.

Nice modern hotel with spacious rooms. Hygiene in the bathroom in particular leaves something to be desired. Furthermore, a great breakfast!

We used the a la carte restaurant, the kids looked nice. Our menu was very limited. And it fell against the meat was too raw, The fish was too much raw ham

Last Thursday evening, once again went to eat at the van der Valk location in Sassenheim.
Together with family, who also regularly visit van der Valk locations.
We were very disappointed with the menu selection. Gradually we discovered that Sassenheim has opted for a completely different concept and has let go of the more or less classical method.
We ate tasteless plaice on a meager bed of vegetables. In addition, only one member of staff was out of control and the rest were not alert. Also appeared upon arrival. Nobody saw us.
In short, we regretted our choice of restaurant and my cousin remarked that he would rather drive to Akersloot again next time. Admittedly further, but worth it.
I often come to Breukelen where I like to eat.
I also hope that this review helps to satisfy the loyal van der Valk visitors in the Sassenheim location.

Great conference hotel a 20 min drive from Schiphol

Lunch was well arranged, quite out of choice was enough.

Top hotel with excellent restaurants, both contemporary and sushi cuisine

Very nicely renovated, great meeting facilities, rooms, and community areas. I pre-ordered vegan food, which was no problem. There were, however, very few vegan proteins available. Some beans, hummus, or grilled tofu or tempeh would have been a great addition to the vegetables and fruit I was served.

Food and service is past the old times ad vd valk.
Is 10 times better as before

Always good food and the brunch buffet is top notch. But many elderly and few young people.

I went to Holland so far a lot from the hotel. But this place is super with everything. I don't think of going to another hotel after that. The staff are friendly and very concerned. I need to eat and eat. I think there's no other place to go. If you need to tell a word

We slept multiple times in this lovely hotel. This hotel has also placed higher standard for us. NEST The restaurant is lovely and has a great buzz.

We had a delicious dinner at van der valk Sassenheim. Live cooking.
We will return often.

Great location for our training. Fully equipped and excellent lunch.

Bar closes fairly early if there are too few people.

You come for a comfortable room with a nice sauna, the sauna room is not up to temperature due to a broken outside door and the sauna is off and really dirty no toilet paper and you get a room where the door does not close, the TV does not work and that is then exchanged for a room without a bath, what a drama ... the restaurant was already a big problem but no compensation, and you have to deal with that, weekend away in smoke ... They want a third chance, but then we have to work hard, we will experience that and I will share with you. Third chance given, rooms are good, sauna unfortunately had a technical problem, but clean but the restaurant with 'fine dining' was even less than the times before, plates with a lot of antics, too little food, even after topping up and serving dishes without serving spoons, hotel so ok but restaurant a pity, especially after the verdict of the food and question manager that we are not friends, that really hurt, hotel so 4 stars and the restoration only 1 star

From the outside we have breakfast at the falcon. Delicious breakfast. Everything looks neat. Nice hotel. We had made a reservation but on arrival they could not find our name. No problem, could sit and eat!

Great hotel, breakfast and dinner perfect, staff very attentive, the luxury comfort room is a "picture".
Partly because of the beautiful surroundings (Noordwijk, Zandvoort, Katwijk, Kager Plassen and Braassemermeer, Wassenaar) my husband and I will spend our vacation more often at Van der Valk in Sassenheim!
One downside: the covered bicycle parking is too small. However, the staff provided a quick solution for us. However, in view of the many hotel guests with an e-bike, expansion is highly desirable in my opinion.

Had dinner at Ozzo yesterday and it was bad! There were only two servers for all the tables and after half an hour they were helped with a drink. The waiter suggested that he would sort out the judges and that it would be all right .... I indicated that I wanted two dishes and not too much fish. What did i get? A bowl full of fish and not the things I wanted anyway ... the girl who was working was very exuberant and she was singing along with the music and she was not polite. When we asked for the dessert menu another fifteen minutes passed, now we have been here for more than three hours. We were not helped again and we went to pay. We said it takes far too long and she answered: yes we have a staff outing so we are in pairs !!!! Sorry but that's my problem. Our answer to that was: this is the first time but certainly also the last time!

Only eat orphans.

Food is good at the price but very tasty! Operation is very young and inexperienced, although they do their best enormously, you notice that that is a pity.

But had a nice evening!

Nice staff, food was pretty good. For that price I would eat somewhere else. Strange: the fries are not gluten-free at this Van der Valk location. This is a major limitation in choosing small children.

All very sloppy. Waiting too long. Not clearing the table. I'm not used at Van der Valk.

Had a very nice overnight stay. Check in smooth and very professional. Everything is fine fine. Personally I found breakfast in bed very expensive in proportion (also compared to other Van der Valk). Dinner very good in the evening, but the acoustics in the a-la-carte restaurant could use an upgrade.

Very and very bad .never experienced such a bad service at van der valk .we arrived at the table at five o'clock beer ordered at six o'clock nothing waiter called .sorry he had forgotten it. First beer at 6.30 pm, ordered second beer at +/- 20.00 and arrived after 2x questions at 20.00 when we went home after having eaten well

Large and spacious, good restaurants. They are 2 japponese and European.

The menu was disappointing, I am used to different choices, and the schnitzel would serve hot lightning, but that was just a pack of cold mash 1

The food is delicious. Love cooking is especially fun. There is a lot of choice, wok, pasta, pizza, fish and meat. Highly recommended.
