Hotel Casino Van der Valk Sassenheim Review

Very nice hotel where the employees do their utmost to answer your questions and to accommodate you. The only thing is that there was no kettle in the room and had to be paid for this in the restaurant for warming baby food. Breakfast in the room is also a nice alternative, healthy breakfast is recommended. Also possible to charge an electric car.

Great opportunity for a snack and a drink. It is a shame that you cannot eat a meal around 3 and only a lunch.

Serving nice, very good food. The last 2x made a mistake with the order, but that was immediately resolved.

Great hotel for overnight stay and breakfast, lunch or dinner. Everything runs smoothly. Spacious room and nice shower and toilet. A minus point edge above bed + lights + wide edges at the windows were very dusty unfortunately. Perhaps because I have worked in the cleaning busines for over 50 years. I always immediately notice such small things, such as dirty tables or spotty chair covers in a restaurant. Just sit in you after so many years. But otherwise this Van der Valk Hotel Sassenheim was fine.

Very warm welcome and well-supported throughout the evening by a nice young lady who did well and also treats guests well in addition to her work.
Quality price very good for what you get and the interior looked neat.
We sat at the chefs table where you got a nice look at the kitchen that looked after.

Certainly a nice cozy place to have dinner.

Will definitely come back here.

Nice hotel.
Cozy bar but a glass of merlot for 10 is way too expensive for me.
Otherwise fine. Good breakfast and slept well. Friendly service and a nice ambiance.

This time again a great room. Nice shower. The breakfast was perfect again. Delicious fresh scrambled eggs!
Fortunately, the wine is now more affordable.

Operation messy, barely your cup of coffee empty and the cups and cakes were already disturbingly taken from us at our table.
No tasty lemon cakes, no choice for other cakes.
Never go here again.

Price quality ratio was less than I am used to. Burgers were then fish and chips with well-done dry fish

Top playground free entertainment for children. With various events. Even toilet available. And everything is well maintained. This by a fantastic group of volunteers.

Hotel is really good but service at the restaurant is a disaster

We first made an appointment 14 days before the dinner to get pork tenderloin satay. No problem. Went to the hotel in the afternoon to request confirmation. Supervisor would know. Again we were reassured: no problem. When we arrived we were told that there was no pork tenderloin or satay available. All very disappointing for such a large company. We were very disappointed. All this was with the live cooking buffet. Never go there again.

Great hotel, good treatment, very large room and many services.

We are in the casino suite it is an incredibly beautiful suite with large TV and nice bath large shower and use of the minibar at no extra cost. We also ate all you can eat at the restaurant. the food was delicious only it was incredibly noisy and as a couple we were put next to a busy walkway. went to the Nice Jacks Casino after dinner with three floors with different cupboards. Only brought 50 euros, I won 260 myself, so I earned this night back. It couldn't be better !!!
Immediately went back to the beautiful suite. Breakfast was also super arranged.

P.s. I recommend the casino suite to everyone !!!

Nice location with clear information and friendly service. I was here to visit a scholarship with students for their research training and we had the opportunity to chat quietly with a drink. Excellent.

We have eaten Sunday in the restaurant and found it downright bad, the service was great, staff friendly and the complaints resolved, but a simple card with a decent price, that should be better.

The weekend buffet dinner is ideal for family with children. Good quality, good price, fun for kids. It is crowded though, so early dinner is best.

Beautiful Van der Valk restaurant ("Nest") with cozy decor, excellent dishes and good prices. Tournedos eaten at the bar: Excellent help from Ingrid and her bar colleagues. Hardworking people who, in my opinion, deserve praise for their customer friendliness and efficiency. Top!
