As always top. Centrally located hotel with very nice and clean rooms. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Also delicious eaten in the restaurant.

After not being here for some time due to reconstruction we visited again and were positively impressed by the new Nest restaurant formula. Good quality food, theybhavr improved tremendously. Serving and service was excellent.

Airco is great, service is great, bathroom is ok since the toilet could be bigger, pricing is a bit high but it's all good

Nicely renovated hotel, neat rooms, very luxurious showers with rain shower, bath sink and toilet. Friendly staff. Perfect location to venture out to, for example, Leiden, Hoofddorp, Scheveningen, etc.

Have to wait too long for drinks. And then the wrong wine. When the good but not great. Also found bitter garnish bar few proposals. Wanted to eat later. But skip going somewhere else. Not to be repeated.

Had a refresher course for general practitioners. It was very clear where the spaces were. We were very just received by a host. The evening meal was sufficient for the large group. Was a bit unclear about drinking during dinner. But that was handled well and quickly.

Booked the Christmas brunch for the second time in a row! In December 2015, first Christmas after the renovation with all children and grandchildren, i.e. 9 adults and 4 children had a delicious meal, good atmosphere, wide range of all kinds of (meat) dishes, in short, worth repeating! So in December 2016 booked again, but there is a certain expectation from the year before. Please read on because this has a sequel !!!!!
A pity, but that was not met because quite a few changes had been made to the offer and structure.
I could not escape the impression that more people should be able to participate and that the offered buffet should cost less, also in terms of drinks there had been some changes in the offer and "what was and what was not included".
The menu that was ready on the table also contained a number of dishes / meats that could not be found on the buffet when inquiring afterwards and in the interview in the AD after the opening it was said that you wanted to get rid of the apple sauce with red cherry image, now This was certainly successful, much to the disappointment of the grandchildren, but they simply find applesauce better than Brussels sprouts with red onion and bacon. The ice cream cart also quickly disappeared (more than half an hour before the closing of the ice cream buffet). The children who lingered too long at the bouncy castle had nothing, but then I only paid more than 59 for 3 children (ages between 3 and 12). Of course everyone thought it was wonderful and cozy, but after asking several times and having given their own opinion, everyone agreed: Our places will remain empty in Hotel Sassenheim next Christmas.

You enter a very attractive space. In the entrance hall you can disinfect your hands.
Behind the desk is a very friendly employee.
Due to the Corona hygiene rules, no glass with ice could be brought to the room. As compensation, we were offered 2 drinks.
There is a coffee machine in the hall that can be used free of charge.
The deluxe room looks good and what is very important to me, the room smelled fresh upon entering.
In the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and bath gel are available in bottles on the wall. No plastic waste with all those miniature disposable plastic!
There are 2 bottles on the bedside table that you can fill with water yourself.
Breakfast in the room without service costs for 13.00 euros. It is also possible to order for 1 person. You have 3 options: healthy, Dutch and English breakfast.

we were finished Wednesday with 10 people where 2 small children we had booked for 18.00, then we also personally pass that it was a wedding couple they told us they would certainly take that into account.
I have not noticed that we had a place very close to the bar and nothing was said too bad !!!! it took quite a long time for us all to have a drink especially the bride who liked to order a cocktail this took a long time certainly 30 min too bad the beer was lukewarm and then we also heard from the staff that this had been going on for a while !!!
we ordered for 4 people mix grill that was served together on 1 shelf and when we told the service that this was not convenient because we were far apart we get another shelf there and we had to distribute the food ourselves too bad !!! and this also took a long time.
also the pasta dish of the bride was not tasty she also left a part when the staff asked if it was tasty and she indicated that it was not so tasty, she received as compensation 1 cup of coffee offered too bad !!! we did not accept this, of course, we did not take a court after that, and of course you are not going to say that it is disappointing to find the one that invited you, but it was a pity, even though it was not large and knitted party, it should have been the night before them to look back on, again very JAMMER !!!!!!!!

Very rich breakfast, friendly staff. Deluxe room is nice, but with open bathroom and toilet ... I was allowed a door for that.

The hotel is fine - nice spacious rooms with a balcony and free parking. The staff is friendly and attentive. It is also by the side of a major highway. I don't give it more stars because it was extremely noisy - you can hear everything the guests walking by your room say and even the water when your neighbor is showering. Overall a good stay but could have rested more if it were more quiet.

Good room, great bed, super breakfast, nice staff. Eaten in Nest restaurant, good quality. I had a delicious rib-eye from the maturing machine, really recommended. Only people forgot to get one drink .......

It's descent, but nothing great. They tried too hard to be fancy and just made it kitschy. I suppose if you're here to gamble you won't care, but otherwise, find something with more character.

I was here as a guest at a wedding. A nice location, with a wonderful roof terrace, good food, good attentive service. Recommended!

I don't know much about the hotel, but I do know about the restaurant. It all looks nicely well cared for, and the food is good too. It is not a star restaurant but certainly satay with fries. The price is also nice and in balance with the quality of food.

Staff is also friendly and helpful. All in all a pleasant experience. In addition, I think there is now a separate section where large groups eat, so there is less inconvenience.

We stayed here a few weeks ago for our honeymoon. The place is extremely nice with massive rooms! What was really amazing though was the front desk and especially Glen S! Wow, he went above and beyonnd to suprise my new wife with rose petals, champagne, chocolates and a special card. Thank you so much, really. We were both blown away by how awesome you made our room and also we have to say thanks to Melony who was very lovely during our stay! Thanks team

Nice hotel, located on the highway, 10 minutes to Noordwijk. Very friendly staff in all areas. Room very nice, despite the highway quiet, modern furnishings, clean, air conditioning quiet, very good beds. Great breakfast buffet, if you do not find anything is your own fault. In OZZO excellent dinner! We'll be back!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel, very nice staff .. in the evening in the very nicely decorated bar "OZZO" had a beer .. good bed in a very spacious room .. wonderful rain shower .. the breakfast buffet was despite this corona time, fantastic! Highly recommended!

There is nothing to complain about, everything was fine and as always at the Van der Valk the service was very concerned about the well being of the guest

Location is quite lonely since there us not much mire than the hotel. The room looks nice but has sime issues. The heater is not really working well, through the window to the balcony cones constantly cold wind. Bath looks nice and clean, air circulation there is horrible. Thanks to it it stinjs in the bath. Else as said everything you need is there. Looks good and cle. The two restaurants are great and the casino has a nice amount of gambling machines.

Delicious eaten. The Sunday lunch is really recommended. During this day there is an ongoing buffet with plenty of choices. The range of fruit and / or fruit salad is very disappointing. The service is fast and friendly.

Price / quality definitely worth it. Nice if you want a weekend away. The beach is easily accessible by bus from Sassenheim station (15 minutes' walk). Furthermore, the Keukenhof close by and a nice city to visit: Leiden. Hotel staff very friendly. Rooms very neat and a good restaurant (a la carte).

I only found out about this on the way home at 9.30 pm.
Immediately called to hotel and a very friendly boy answered the phone.
He said I'm going to have a look immediately, this room is namely not checked in yet.
I was sooooo happy.
I'll call you back immediately.
After fifteen minutes of heart palpitations.
Someone Glenn called me back and said I have taken everything out. I will send it to you assured.
This was just great.
He had packed this so well before it was sent, thanks again.
The staff were very friendly and helpful anyway.
