Very good but avoid King's day and you'll get good prices

Nice and large double room, elegant design and very nice hotel. Great service and good food. The housekeeping is down when we stayed for 11 nights and the bed was not changed.

Easy access from the airport and handy location to city centre. Staff at reception could be friendlier it looked like we (the customers) are disturbing them

Hotel Casa Amsterdam is worth every penny. The room was cleaned and we'll furnished. The staff has been delightful, and the food has been tasty. Really can't ask for more.

Just hotel, when I was there they were renovating but I had no problems with that.

Really nice place to stay. The hotel theme is beautiful and the location is perfect.
The staff was friendly and helpful, but some misunderstandings and strange statements on our stay pulls it down from a perfect 5 stars.
The lounge and eating places are beautiful, prices are a bit high, but the level of quality is very high in both eating and drinks.

Try out the morning buffet and get drinks on the sky bar - you will not regret it.
We walked our way into the city and old parts of Amsterdam. But transport with tram or bike is easy too.

Very nice place, nice and helpful staff. Drinks available in the lobby, kettles are also available in the rooms.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. They have access for subway, trams, uber from city center will cost around of 10 euros. A few good restaurants around, you can rent a bike for whole day. Breakfast is very good for the price they ask. Overall it's a nice hotel, I would come back here.

Room was nice and close to transportation. Had a great roof top restaurant/bar with great views. Staff was helpful.

The best thing about the hotel is the location. You can walk to the center in about 30-45 minutes (depending on where you want exactly). It also has a nice terrace on the 8th floor, where we always wanted to go. This had but in the 2 days stay unfortunately always too. First supposedly for a holiday, then because of the wind? The breakfast was okay. The bowls for cereal could be bigger, but otherwise everything was ok. Negatively noticed, that we got wrong information on arrival. The arrival was on Friday evening and we were asked to ask twice, that the breakfast is until 10am. Unfortunately, we noticed on Saturday that this was not true .. It went to 12 .. That was annoying for us, because we had really hard to get up 9, as we were awake the night before and on the way. On Sunday exactly like that. Apparently the breakfast is on weekends but until 12 o'clock .. In itself that was cool. Too bad we did not know that. In addition, we have by chance when paying! experienced that for 2 nights 3 times breakfast (for 2 persons :)) at check-in was booked (somehow on confirmation of the visa card or something.) We were asked at the check in, whether we want to pay directly or on confirmation, in the In the first case we would not have noticed the breakfast twice too late or too late). Lucky that we had not paid directly and that we had asked what we were paying exactly because the sum seemed too high. The king size bed had no two separate mattresses and was somehow set, so you always slipped into the middle. That was not so convenient. There was only one blanket. But that was long enough. And the water pressure when showering was a bit weak. And in the bar we got 2 times order 1 time something wrong. Basically, otherwise the atmosphere is cool. But OK. Basically I would book the hotel again (mainly because of the location and in the hope that the terrace will be open ..), but without a king size bed .. Rather with separate beds or something (you want to sleep too) and me I know now with the late breakfast and I would always pay in the end and check everything. :) The so little you pay in the hotel so or so not.

Very nice and modern hotel on the edge of the center. The rooms were large and clean, only the mattress was a bit too soft for my taste.
The hotel has a large roof terrace with great views, highly recommended.

Great hotel, great atmosphere, very clean and great location.

For the price I found the rooms a bit small but this could well be European standards. The hotel is about 30 min. walk to downtown or just couple of metro stops. The metro/train station is only 5 min. away.

Perfect for what it is. Close to Amstel Station, and a short train into the old town. Rooms were clean and staff very friendly. Highly recommended

Hotel is located in quiet neighborhood. Staffs are very friendly. Room is comfortable and clean. Very pleasant experience of staying.

On the east side of the city a short enough tube ride into central, nice peaceful area just off the fringe of the hustle and bustle. Rooms are spacious, air-conditioned and there's a rooftop bar on the 8th floor!

Professional staff. Very spacious, well equipped rooms. Not far/with easy access to centre of the City.
Nearly always (which is very nice) you ll get a bit more than just a room.
I ve been offered Ice Creams on very hot days; another month a glass of wine in lobby to socialise .

Unfortunately found far from perfect day to day cleanliness. Generally a bit upset when found dirty glasses; then dirty glasses put back to their places; and on couple occasions not topped up teas and coffees, asking myself why?

Finally, if you found yourself in rooms next to staircases or opposite the elevators, you may found them very noisy.

Summarize, I like the hotel, but there is a lot of space for improvement. Therefor 3 stars.

A little far from the center than we wanted thats the reason for the low score. However it was clean and had no problems so does it really deserve a bad score

Cosy, clean and cute big hotel... This place definitely has it's own spirit. Perfect location, very near to Amstel station and easy accessible form everywhere. Reasonable prices also a very good breakfast with really fresh croissants.

A pleasant hotel feels mainly for students and not for couples looking for romance. 3 metro stations to Dam Square and still better to sleep in the center because a little sucks to take a train all the time

Large rooms and friendly staff. The cleaners are a bit annoying if you forget to put the 'No Disturb' sign on.

Excellent place where you look. The receptionists spoke our language. The room, the cleanliness, the terrace made a garden. Breakfast with everything you can imagine. Super recommended !! I would always go back to that place !!

Though we came back from Switzerland and to be honest I wasn t expecting much from this place but this certainly surprised me. Highly Recommended.
